@@Cosmy88 the silver pieces that are attached to the stock muffler come off with a couple small bolts......I think I'd try to see if there is a way to trim them and allow for the pipe to go through where the stock outlet position is by cutting out the bottom part of the triangle shape and removing the triangle trim piece. Can't beat the combo of SC Project and Aprilia for sound. I gotta say though, I think it looks really bad with the huge gap left on the bottom without something covering it. Maybe someone can make a different lower fairing that covers it, similar to what's available for the R1. The Panigale V4 has the same issue, which is why I went with the CS Racing exhaust. @@Victor_Moto Thank you. I'm hoping for that as well. Also, from this video when I saw he took off the shiny piece I was wondering if that could be used if the gray triangle would be removed. I'll have to find out irl as I'm getting this bike soon finally.
@@Victor_Moto Although I've just noticed the shiny cover is attached to the stock exhaust not to the fairing so it would need some creativity to use that. A belly pan will definitely be a better option.
@@rzrpwr Good luck. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi! What exhaust hangar is that? I just bought this exhaust and am wondering, thanks!
That comes with the SC Project.
I wish it was shorter so it sat under the bike similar to the stock exit position. It looks too bulky and out of place up above the swing arm. Leaving the back part of the lower fairing off looks too unfinished as well.
Visually, I agree. But I bet this length is best for performance.
the RS660 Trophy bikes have a longer fairing, so maybe they'll put on the market an add-on for the stock belly fairing
@@Cosmy88 Sounds like a race fairing kit.
I'd also try to find some hi temp enamel spray paint and either match the pieces to the red on the bike or black.
I've also seen a shorter version of the SC exhaust that ends at the rear foot peg and has a smaller muffler a little bigger than the size of a beer can. I'm guessing it's more of a race/track version but that's the one I'd get!!! Lol
do you need to remap after installing a sc project sports exhaust????
"Need"? No. Recommended? Yes.
Could you please tell me what the first song is?
Don't know. Sorry. Feel free to clip the audio and use it.
is it possible to continue to use the pillion footrests?
It's not designed for that. It would take some modification. I don't recommend it.
Does the ECU need a flash after this install or not? The Akra one has a flash I believe.
Yes. Unless you're willing to ride the bike with an AFR of about 15 or so, which you probably shouldn't
We'll confirm soon.
Nice video - one question: Is there a db killer and the mounting thingy inside the package? On the SC Project website it's only written that these parts are available but for me its not clear if they are coming with the package! t
Yes, a DB killer and muffler hanger (replaces the passenger peg) are included.
Will Aprilia void your warranty if the bike is tuned to run this pipe setup?
I dont know about this SC project setup but Aprilia do have an official Acrapovic system you can get and that would be covered id imagine. Comes with remap software i believe? About 2 thousand yoyos though!
I don't like the rear exhaust hanger, it looks like a pillion foot peg bracket. Sweet bike though
Thanks.
@@Victor_MotoThank you for the video!
@@-Cold-World my pleasure. Credit to World Famous Brian Wellman for the installation.
It is not possible to put this exhaust keeping the footpegs for the passenger?
Thanks in advance.
Not without a custom bracket.
But, no, it won't fit on the stock passenger peg.
Can I add a slip-on to this bike or will I need a new full system?
Full system.
@@Victor_Moto Thanks
Can't beat the combo of SC Project and Aprilia for sound. I gotta say though, I think it looks really bad with the huge gap left on the bottom without something covering it. Maybe someone can make a different lower fairing that covers it, similar to what's available for the R1. The Panigale V4 has the same issue, which is why I went with the CS Racing exhaust. It has a panel that covers that area and it looks super clean.
Agreed. It's designed for race bodywork which covers that.
@@Victor_Moto that's true, didn't think about that.
Hey did you get your ECU changed or power commander installed
Not yet. Waiting for the tuner module to arrive.
Ok thanks what’s the stuff that’s wiped inside the muffler
Hey there Victor, did you remapped after installing the exhaust? Thanks!
Not yet.
@@Victor_Moto looking forward to it then! Thanks 😉
Did it need tuning after install.?
No.
What is the top speed after evu flash and the after market exhaust??
Haven't flashed the ECU yet. Working on that including our 2021 RSV4.
@@Victor_Moto awww than the thrill is yet to come
How do you SC project exhaust run without a tune or power commander
It actually runs fairly well.
It needs a different map. Toss this on a dyno with the exhaust, and you will see it runs incredibly lean.
@@sarahdell4042 I'll do that if I get the opportunity. Other than dyno date, this bike has been running strong at many race tracks.
how does the sound compare to jaret campisi's v2??
Oh! Good question. Let's do a side by side comparison. I'll do that on April 10th during his giveaway event. I'll bring this bike to Santa Barbara.
@@Victor_Moto thats awesome, thanks!
Hey guys! I am about to install my SC this week. I would like to know if it is mandatory to use the anti-seize grease on the sensors and joints! If so, what kind of grease or paste? Thanks!
Stand-by...
@@Victor_Moto thanks a lot!
@@JuanAntonioAdrover I'll answer tomorrow. I don't want to bother my Techs on their day off. 👍
@@Victor_Moto I really appreciate your help! 👌✌️
@@Victor_Moto hey! Has the chance to find out about it? Thank you!
You just keep the same map? Does the ECU make the adjustments on its own?
Two things to note: there is no exhaust valve. This exhaust uses the stock O2 sensors.
These run super lean when adding an exhaust. If you want the bike to last, change the mapping ASAP. Not to mention, it will make less power with the exhaust on stock map.
