    Gorgeous bike! I own a black one.
    At 9:09 you said you were in 6th gear. It is only a 5 speed. Everybody complains about the exhaust. I love it. I like a quiet bike. It belies the monster within. And you understated the power. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and it will whip the pants off almost anything it encounters. Watch those keys - If you keep riding with loose keys, they're going to scratch that tank bezel very quickly.
    Valkyries RULE!🏍🏍🥃🍹🍺😎👌👉👍🕶😜📵

      Again, because they *insist* on short-shifting the bike like it's a big-bore V-twin; it's got a 6,000 RPM redline for a REASON. And they don't understand the long-travel throttle, so they turn the throttle a bit...and actually get about 1/2 of what they *think* they are asking for. Ride it like a Porsche, or a massive literbike standard, not like a Harley.

    Recently bought a 2014 Valk. Most wonderful ride ever! Truly the easiest bike to drive I’ve ever been on.

    Found one of these recently for sale. I'm thinking about picking it to commute back and forth to work. It's 26 miles one way. I like having so.ething different than everyone else and this thing seems pretty unique and bad ass.

    I have the 1999 and the 2014. The '14/15 are very torque-ee and once I put the sheepskin buttpad on, I knew it was a velvety missile and a lifetime keeper that's close to a Rune. The raw power is INSANE.

    I bought the 2014 Honda Valkyrie with 10,000 miles on it. Yep flew down to Florida from New York. Yes crazy but I got a very good deal. Less then 200 miles on that stock seat I had to do something. So I stopped at a Walmart pick me up a gel seat cushion it helped a lot. But let’s talk about what a bike like this is missing and I’m no expert. But on a long ride a nice seat with a backrest highway foot pegs cruise control.those are just a few things I noticed. This is not a crotch rocket so why Honda did not put cruise control a nicer seat i don’t know if it’s cost I would have gladly shelled out the few extra bucks I’ll give them a break on the highway foot pegs. That gas door broke the first time I went to use it there’s got to be a better way. But even with these few down falls I still love this bike.

      It's a bit of a Niche' bike. Not really the focused touring machine but surely capable of any trip. For that you might go to a focused tourer. But in any case this bike is a beautiful piece of moving art.

      Thanks for watching and commenting Jim. Totally love these bikes. It represents a time in Honda where they were at the fore' making dreams in a way only Honda could make.

    Love the bike, but hard to modify with upgrades/accessories ( obviously intentional) and for the sticker price ,it could have come with more stock features!

      Thanks Ed. We will try. Between all the things we do at the shop AND trying to get ride videos in, it's pretty tough. But we love doing them for sure!

    Ride review videos don't need to have constant talking and mansplaining, just ride the bike for a while in a variety of ways.

    Thank you for posting this video. But I'm going to have to be brutally honest here: what is with people test riding a Goldwing Valkryie and riding it like a old grandmother??!! You talk about "acceleration" but you guys not only don't open the bike up, you short-shift like it's a Harley. This is not just directed to you but to many other reviews I've seen posted on this bike recently.
    Did you bother to check / try the throttle *before* you rode the bike?? The Valk has a special long-travel throttle - while about 75 degrees of turn is the "wide open" industry standard everywhere else, on a Valk the throttle goes almost 180. It's one of the secrets of being so "smooth", you get a LOT of position choice in such a long-travel throttle. Every "acceleration" test you did? Almost HALF of what the bike actually expects as input to give you the acceleration you actually asked for, based upon your previous expectation of riding other bikes with 'normal' travel throttles.
    Go find iSlander's video review of the "Honda Valkyrie" to find out what it REALLY can do (watch his speedo....when he's not blurring it out for self-incrimination, that is!)

      We ride responsibly. We know how to ride it and wring it's neck. It's ok.

    Is the seat lower/narrower than the F6B seat. I find the F6B a little too wide/high so I can't flat foot it. Would this be the same? Thanks

      Not sure. Just check the specs on each and compare.

    Can you tell me who makes the little windshield on this bike?

    • @CycleHunters
      @CycleHunters  2 роки тому

      Not sure. Been a little bit since that bike has been here. I would just google your year make and model, then put windscreen and hit images and see if you can find what you're looking for.

    Ugly aftermarket bags. They look like the cheapest option.

    • @CycleHunters
      @CycleHunters  2 роки тому

      They were there from the previous customer who didn't want a large bukly side bag. They function perfectly and if the next customer doesn't like them, he can take them off too. But, he's also getting a backrest for it so it will complete the look.

      I say if you want saddlebags then go with the Harley Davidson 👍🏻
