Nice video! I live in Kure Beach, I camp out there all the time with my Jeep. The gate is 3 minutes from my house. Looks like you were between marker 37 and 38
I really wish I had known 4 months ago you was here in Wilmington North Carolina are passing through I would at least met you and definitely showed you around maybe next time thanks for sharing
How do you like that weBoost on the hood? Notice a difference? Worth the investment? Does increase signal for the area around camp/vehicle, or for only one specific device?
There is no camping allowed at Fort Fisher. You are allowed to be out there overnight but not "officially" camping. You got lucky that the rangers didn't make you leave!
Actually I've asked the Rangers specifically about camping in a vehicle and they only restrict ground camping. That was the 5th time and usually we have a group of 3 vics.
everything I find online about Fort Fisher rec area says you can't camp but then I hear from locals it is allowed. Probably because a bunch of idiots don't understand the value of respecting the environment like us respectable people.
@rebelpatriot_nc_9156 not very rebellious of you but I do like your profile Pic even though its probably dirty kid and not you. It's actually not about the environment, if it were they would stop driving on the beach all together. If you have questions or get conflicting info you can always just ask the park staff like I did or perhaps the locals have. If you did they would tell you no ground camping with a tent but vic is fine. Probably has something to do with tent stakes left in the sand or drivers not seeing tents at night until it's to late. Maybe I'll include that next time so idiots don't make rude comments. Thanks for watching.
Really good vid , hope you succeed with your channel .
You should hit up cape lookout next time in nc.

Hey thanks for watching!
@@lyleSchmidt Thanks to YT for recommending your video 👍
Sick visuals
I didn’t think camping was allowed at fort fisher?
@Toolingabout ground camping isn't however vehicle camping is. They really just don't want people leaving stakes in the sand.

Thats not ft Fisher, you passed it, its just a museum. Your in Kure Beach, lived there surfed there for over 3 decades.

@@fatastrodave74 Did this happen to you? Were you in a tent or in your vehicle?

@@lyleSchmidt awesome, only from Sep 15 to Mar 31 tho right?
@@Toolingabout that is the time of year I was there but I'm not sure
@Toolingabout you are allowed to be out overnight but not as a camper. Have a fishing pole in the water or helping turtles when the ranger arrives!
Go down to the Outer Banks next time. It's our only beaches that's actually worth exploring
Run the tire till it explodes, be a man.
