- The date was January 21st. 2000! The PBA uses a different format for its championship round finals. For the first time, the top 8 bowlers make the TV show. In the opening match, Wayne Webb takes on Michael Tryniski and Bryan Goebel. The winner of that match takes on Chris Barnes and Pete Weber. The winner of that match takes on Mike Aulby and Doug Kent. Do you have the bowlers journal Florida space coast open from 1990?
Andrew Phillips
The man called "Captain C" by his fellow pros, given his penchant for carrying crossover strikes, made the transition to a different "C," as In "champion." Robert Lawrence of Austin, Texas, opened with nine strikes and cruised home a 274-199 victor against Bob Learn Jr. In the $140,000 Bowlers Journal Florida Space Coast Open at Shore Lanes. Lawrence's first PBA title was worth $24,000 plus an invitation to the Firestone Tournament of Champions.
Your are a different Andrew Phillips
almost 1999 :O
They didn't have to towel off the oil on the ball. They could just squeeze it. :/ Poor fellas
Too much oil and pins fall too easily. Something looks off.
