Midwestern folks are so genuine. Thanks for sharing this spectacular automobile. Color combinations are so beautiful. Mind blowing what Detroit created at one time in history.
What a gorgeous, classy car! I can see Cary Grant driving such a car. I don't think that he was the kind of guy who would want a Duesenberg. He wasn't a flashy guy. He was the only ex-hubby of Barbara Hutton who did not sue her for money. He was also the only ex-hubby of Barbara who visited her during her last days (when she was broke and dying) What a man! Thank you for sharing.
Superb automobile and a very knowledgeable owner. Thanks for giving us the tour and appreciate you made this fine vehicle available for us to see. Enjoy!
Thank you for the compliment. We love telling the history and stories of beautiful automobiles like this spectacular Packard. Personally I’m partial to Packards and this one was sitting on the show field sparkling in the sun and calling me to come film it …or perhaps that was Cary Grant’s ghost???
Because Barbara Hutton "would have bought a car like this for Cary Grant" a year before their marriage is not " pretty good evidence". This is a stunning Car... It can stand on its own without some shady story without documentation.

zI rea that Cary Grant took over 100 LSD trips! He said "Everyone wants to be Cary Grant, I'd like to be Cary Grant!"
I drove a 1941 Le Baron 180 Sport Brougham, in my salad days.

He owns it, so I guess he gets to tell the story as he sees it. It is a stunning car in its own right though.
CG was too tight with money to buy this for himself, so say the old folks here in Palm Springs. Now Barbara Hutton...
Spot on. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching
You wouldn't love that hood if you had to work on one of those turnips.
You can certainly love it for the beautiful design and despise it for its complexity
