Hello Kris. Is there any way to prevent spliting and big cracks on the logs? Because i know that the center(heart) of the log makes this to happend. Please give me an advice or any idea? Thank you
+moldcatalin Yes, a relief cut in the back will tell the log where to split. I always try to avoid having the center of the log in the carving by using half logs. Sometimes this isn't possible though for big carvings. I'll just let them season for a year and then repair the cracks.
Best bear carving I have ever seen! Nice job
I agree with some of the people that have commented about Woody Hyezmar’s Woodworking Bible, it’s pretty solid even if it’s not complete!
Another awesome video bud. Keep em coming!
