I am singer now.
Honestly, I wouldn't have been this brave to take on something like this if there wasn't so many really nice comments on my last few songs with vocals. You guys have really made me feel more confident in trying to do more of my own vocals and lucky for me, I keep stumbling on songs that I think are slightly more suited to me than other ones I've tried. Thank you so much for your continued support as I overcome my voice sounds weird to me syndrome.
A few things are new for this video! SUBTITLES! YAY! I baked them in this time mostly inspired by LittleVMills doing it and I hope it's cool. Let me know if you like them. The original song is very, um, creatively pronouced, so I thought this was a good chance to try this out.

I hope it doesn't happen the same as with Persona, Spotify was filled with covers until the officially released the OST
Hopefully soon. Luckily the Xrd and Accent Core official osts are on there and Xrd Sign has a lot of the best songs in the series.
I think it's only in Japan because I found the songs but they're greyed out like they're no longer available or they're for a different region.

ANJI: I remember how I met the one I love, and how they were broken by their loss, but I will still keep holding the torch, for them.
@@flamaniax5728 Faust's theme is about the guilt of letting a little girl die when he was trying to save her, realise that he isn't responsible for her death as it was an assassination performed by Zato's group, and desperately trying to find atonement. In Another Story, he manages to find atonement in saving Delilah's life again, but the exhaustion made his soul leave his body, leaving him basically a zombie roaming trying to find beauty in life again and helping whomever he can.
At first I interpreted it as him asking the little girl how she sees the world from up above (the whole chorus), but it can also be interpreted as his split soul and body talking to each other after the soul's ascension ("We see eye to eye, I told me without you"). Whatever it is, Faust is trying to find the worth of his actions and life amongst the chaos that it had once been ("Destruction, Redemption, Tower of Babel"), and how he wasn't the savior everyone wanted him to be ("Messiah will not come", "I had to run away from here before the storm hit").
JACK-O:Though I was created to be replaced I will not let go of my own desires. Even if my stay in this body is temporary I will live my life to the fullest, beyond my original function

I have zero musical experience but I imagine it must be incredibly difficult as a native English speaker to cover someone who isn't, especially someone with a style as unique as NAOKI. This was an absolutely fantastic cover Jules!
yeah, expecially with how many times he adds or removes syllables to words out of nowhere. It's kind of weird to hear the lyrics sung properly
Naoki and AISHA actually have near-perfect pronunciation. It's very uncanny to hear such messily-written Engrish so well pronounced xD
@@runefaustblack It's an interesting thing, cause Naoki can definitely speak English perfectly and you can hear that a lot in the Xrd OST, but the writing style is different enough to allow liberties to be taken with words while still being understood in english. It's a really unique sound that I think is an intentional stylistic choice.

Yes. Try all them if you can. Almost al the songs bop and the gameplay is fun.
It's basically an anime fighting game with a huge dose of rock and heavy metal references scattered throughout the entirety of the series. Literally everything loops back into a musical reference.
The running gag is that each game is actually Daisuke putting out a new metal album with a really good fighting game included as a bonus alongside it for $60.
Seriously, the music in GG is the best part of it.

The shear amount of emotion in this cover is insane. I already loved this song, but the way you manage to shout "the roar of the spark" like you're genuinely calling on it. Is just incredible. I was unsure if "Welcome to the Internet" was just a fluke, but you're setting a dangerous precedent by continuing to throw this much emotion into your work.
YES, the Totsugeki cover was an omen for the Roar of the Spark. So much work went into this clearly, so thank you so much for making it happen.
Now the posibilities are huge for Magnolia Eclair or Sol's theme in Strive

This is such an amazing cover. The entire soundtrack of GGS has pretty much become one of my favorite videogame OSTs ever and The Roar of the Spark is arguably one of my favorites from it. You really did this phenomenal character theme justice and I really hope that this is not the last we have heard of GGS covers from you

Brother, I stopped watching your covers a while ago, sorta just wasn't my thing anymore, but Guilty Gear music can drag me back in easy. Not only did you nail the instrumentation, but your vocals were freakin spot on. When you go hard in the chorus that's some goose bumps there, you hit "the roar of the spark" line with the perfect amount of oomph. Please do more vocal covers.

It's great to see you sing on more tracks, I've been watching since Ken's theme from SF2 and you have always been such a great inspiration for me. I picked up bass and guitar about 3 years ago simply because I hope to one day be able to play like you.
