Upon hearing Love the Subhuman Self for the first time. I could have sworn it was my good friend Lollia singing it in the original, so I knew that if I were ever to cover it, I HAD to get her. When I told people I was covering this song, it was funny because a lot of people were taken aback because of how difficult this song sounds from the beginning. Having done so many songs over the years that AREN'T arranged for guitar, I actually really look forward to songs like this because it puts me much more in home field.
Having only a handful of lead guitars, I spent the majority of the time trying to get my guitars to sound beefier, but all while trying to keep Lollia the center of attention with the occasional scream of "The Bee's Knees" to poke through. It's made me realize how weird making video game covers has made my mixing habits. I hope someday I can really spend sometime on changing up my mixing game but I'd probably have to take a break from weekly covers.
I can't believe it's already November. I've gone this entire year so far without missing a cover and I'm very proud of that and hope you've been enjoying all the work I've put in thus far. Thank you so much for listening!

Let me tell you about my story. I come from taiwan. so my language is not english. When I use google translate for "THE BEES KNEES", this mean is not like you think. it really show in chinese is "bees knees", I think :WTF? a Bees knees? what is that mean? is a beeeeeeeeee and kneeeeees???????

but I ask about my australia friend. he tell me what real mean is it. in chinese maybe is "出類拔萃", I am not sure. just maybe is close that mean.

@@HenixUT I ran it trough google translate, and that is very close to what it means. Something that is "the bees knees" is something that is just great, or awesome or whatever you prefer to call it, it is just almost never used because of how old the expression is.

Guilty Gear has amazing rock, vocals and otherwise, and takes influence from the character’s regions on occasion
BlazBlue’s instrumentals are beautiful, ranging from the saddening, somber songs like Weak Executioner to intense orchestra of Under Heaven Destruction
Dude guilty gear is just a solid album that comes with a game.

A truly great cover reminds me of the tears I had when first listening to this song cus of how purely angelic and beautiful it is, but overtime I got too used to it, hearing a slightly different version that hits all the same points artistically makes me get to experience those beautiful tears again
