I don’t know who and how is doing this up there, but like every time we could see a strong magnetic storm just before and during the competition...
As a result, the European part of Russia had very poor propagation to North America
Only 60 QSO's with NA, in a log we had 6000 QSO's

Yeah, very poor path to UA, to be sure. Cycle 25 thus far is clearly under-performing...at least from my latitude it is. 73! de WX0V

What does that "copy 594" line mean?

This was a contest, so I am giving him the reply required to finish the contact. I am asking him to copy his signal report ("5-9") and my contest number ("4", which is the Zone I am in based on this contest). I say it rather quickly so it sounds like "594" to be sure. Usually, I do not say "copy" I would just say "5-9, 4", for brevity. Hope this answers your question, and 73! de WX0V
