Hi, thank you for the review! I would buy a Heritage if it had a MIPS option. That is a shame the new light is not compatible with the Chapter, I was about to buy it to upgrade mine. I was looking forward to the usbc port and much longer runtime. I have to charge mine almost every trip, it lasts for 1h on average. Also as you said, the auto-on on the Chapter is a nice feature, but locking the light (long press) should disable it because I often find it dead out of my bag because it magnetised to something in it. Any words from the Thousands team on whether they plan to release an updated model for the Chapter?
I don't have any insider information, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Thousand Chapter 2.0 is also in the works. It would make a lot of sense to update the helmet with a newer MIPS design and make it compatible with this taillight.
I'm not aware of any rack mount options for this taillight. If you're looking for a bike rack light, I'd suggest Planet Bike as they usually include all the mounts with the lights.
