love the action shots!
Love the channel nice work
When your cow is hungry and you need to haul those hay bales fast :D
Nice.
Can Am and Polaris are making some great stuff.
Until the warranty runs out...
Hey I really love what you’re doing with all these videos and work good job and keep it up 👍
So is the main difference the shocks between an XT and a XTP
Bought a new xtp in 18
First year they came out.
1 goes head to head with ranger 82 hp until top end I limit at 105 polairs 110
2 the seat are better then the bench in Polaris and the honda
3 price wise is on target with Polaris with the better suspension seat side plates and about 8 gs cheaper then the honda pioneer le with I have had a pleasure of driving but seats suxk and a little tight in cab as well as you have to like the 6 speed vs the cvt
Top of the line crew Polaris ranger 1000 and top of the line can-am defender 1000 is what I want to see
Can’t you change the dps through 3 different settings??
That's what I was thinking.
that thing between under his bottom lip is freaking me out
Loosing the market in pricing getting way over priced
Having trouble choosing between this and Honda pioneer? I am lost
I have had both. Still have the Defender. Stay away from Honda.
@@crowhunter6974 I have 2 buddies that tried to persuade me hard on the Honda. I ended up going with the can am for a few reasons. The Honda I heard is jerky thru the gears and it has alot of heat from engine since its under seat. Also maintenance to the engine is tough as well. I've heard of a few trans problems and the kicker for me was can am has grease zerts for the suspension. Honda or Polaris did not. That was a huge selling point to me. Last thing was defender has like a 3.5 gallon bigger fuel tank. What problems have you had with the Honda?
All kinds of problems. I don't use mine for just zooming around at 25-30 MPH. I use mine at slow speeds for working. In low range it would constantly shift between 1st and 2nd gear in the 5-8 MPH range. Head jerking shifts, which was annoying. It was so hot my wife wouldn't even ride in the back and the front wasn't much better even without a windshield. You had no storage for anything onboard other than in the bed which makes it hard to work. Lots of just simple things like with the Honda you have to unlatch two sides to let the tailgate down and you can't sit on it. Can am, you just unlatch one, just like my truck. It is also much easier to get into and out of. This is completely leaving out all the trouble I had keeping the blasted turf mode adjusted correctly and the clutch was starting to slip. Since getting rid of it, I have gotten 3 different recall notices for it. Nothing for the Defender. Up until I got my Defender, I had only had Honda products for years. From now on, I will always look to Can Am first.
Also, a big one. Reverse in the Defender isn't the same ratio as 1st gear in high range like the Pioneer. So if I need to hook to something and back up under load, I can actually PULL something rather than burning up my clutch trying to back up. The Pioneer has some neat ideas but you can tell it was not designed using Human Centered design concepts and when they were designing it, they didn't really look at how someone who is buying a work machine is actually going to use it. The Can Am guys did. Lots and Lots of useful features that really make it stand out. Just something as simple as the 5 Gal bucket divots in the bed and a tailgate you can actually SIT ON and open with one hand is VASTLY superior to the Honda offering.
Wouldnt the honda pioneer 1000 le compete against this? Similar suspension, power, and technology.
Probably not from the sport side. I had one for a year and sold it. Bought polaris general 1000 - 4...wanted some utility and more sport.
By the looks of their website, for $600 more you can get the XMR. No brainer for me at least.
If can-am could reduce their new model cycle down to minutes, they'd have a transformer.
Is this channel only about racing ?
John Grytbakk it also seem like it’s only about Polaris and can am!!!!!
Such like this had ajay's green overpriced unless you are buying used and then you rush buying Sunriver else's problems
The commander needs an update... It kills me to be a BRP guy & have a new ride command general in my garage... But the general is a sweet ride.
sounds like power nation
Dude cam am needs to upgrade their dumping box lbs capacity..ohh and more horsepower
Anybody notice they copied the Polaris High Lifter edition? Polaris first used that color scheme in 2016 and again in 2019. Can-am should have at least changed the color scheme. Dang!
Better keep a couple spare drive belts in the glove box
Mark & Ilene that’s for a polaris
Can somebody explain how they lost 400lb box capacity on this version of the Defender? Is it just because of the suspension set up, or are they using lighter bed materials to shed some weight?
When reviewing a utility sxs why show it racing through the woods? Wouldn't potential buyers prefer seeing the amount and type of work it can do? I love your channel but your always racing around the woods.I don't get it. You know not everyone wants to drive that way
Show me a video of our meeting used during planting or harvest or plowing a couple feet of snow
Better get the extended warranty...
Why what do you know?
I’m more disappointed can am hasn’t made a midsize defender yet. Come on can am.
What would there be in between
nathan's bird something 56-58” wide a shorter wheel base. Could use the hd5 as a base engine and then offer the 570 or 650 engine out of the atv lineup. I’m just shocked can am hasn’t made a unit to compete with the midsize ranger class. That’s basically what I’m saying. And would love to see them come out with.
jew0182 that would be great. I have a midsize ranger and that’s what I love about it.. it’s midsized. If CanAm made one of these in a midsize I’d consider trading.
However I worked on a fleet of 200+ Polaris, and SkiDoos, and the brand new Skidoo’s have a lot of electrical issues which made me weary. I replaced the wiring harness on almost every single one. Polaris has its issues as well I’m not trying to be biased.
Hey I’m actually first wow!! For real though
why do you guys brag about the small things. Every video you put out that involves driving, you are constantly trying to push the limits of the machines. In this video you are using a UTILITY sxs that is ment for WORK NOT FOR GOING 5000 mph
I needa Block anyone who try's to sell a 20 grand plus SXS by telling me about cup holders and storage boxes! 1) How long is it going to last trouble free! 2) is it going to be the Toyota of Off roading?
I don't like the contrasting colors that can am does. Black/yellow, Black/red, black/blue, etc. Just hideous! Next sales opportunity...option box to tick off for your chosen accent color or leave black.
I dont understand the appeal of SBS. I would rather be on a dirt bike or an atv
cheap french ripoff of the polaris ranger ill stick to the ranger much better sxs
Actually can am is German
