The US government is actually using the name of the continent. We are US citizens and citizens of the United States. Everyone in North America, Central America, South America, the Americas and the American continent is an American like Asia are Asians, Africa are Africans and Europe are Europeans. What happened first? The United States of America or the American continent? The United States of America became a nation on the date of July 4th of 1776 and the whole entire continent was already named America after Amerigo Vespucci in the year 1507 that was 269 years difference way before the United States of America became a nation. Europe has 50 countries, Asia has 51 countries, Africa has 54 countries, Oceania has 14 countries and America is not a country America is a continent of 35 countries in total. Why are people not educated about America? ............The reason why people come here to the United States from all over the world is because the US government goes to their countries and controls and manipulates their governments. The US government and its allies aka puppets invade small countries 10 or more against 1 small country not even bigger than Texas. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are the same snake with two evil heads. The US government is a two face and the number 1 terrorist in the world. The US government invades, kills, destroys, divides, controls, manipulates and steals resources from small countries. .............Homelessness is a choice of life. Life is beautiful but no one said life is easy. Many people have too many excuses in life, more excuses than the exits of freeway 101 located in California. Many people are looking for work praying to God not to find a job. People just want just want handouts. The more money you give them the more they want. Whoever wants an easy life in life will always have issues, struggle and drama in life but whoever makes a sacrifice in a good way in life will make a benefit in life....

Now, I don't care for either country anymore. They better hope China or the Middle East don't get mad at them, because their military is not like ours. And, we will sit back and laugh at them as they are being trampled over by illegal, undocumented people stealing all of their resources. • @Leo07111980

Mexico, as a country, also faces a significant problem: the United States. Across the vast border between the two countries, millions of weapons and large sums of money flow daily, fueling violence in Mexico and strengthening the power of drug cartels. The gun laws in the United States, which make it very easy to purchase firearms, worsen this issue. Moreover, the United States does not seem to care about controlling the flow of illegal weapons into Mexico because many people profit significantly from it. On the other side, these weapons make illicit groups, like drug cartels, stronger, weaken Mexican authorities, and cause thousands of Mexicans to suffer from violence.
These illegal groups, which are growing increasingly powerful due to the influx of weapons, expand their reach and facilitate the entry of more illicit drugs into the United States, such as fentanyl, which causes numerous deaths and tragedies. The money generated from this trade is used, among other things, to buy more weapons. Both countries need to work more closely together to tackle this issue and find solutions.
In my opinion, imposing tariffs, as Mr. Trump has proposed, will not help at all. Instead, it will increase the prices of many products in the United States, driving inflation even higher. From my perspective, this shows that Trump, as always, does not know what he is doing and is using this issue merely as a tool for political controversy.

However, generally-speaking, Economists agree that tariffs tend to reduce overall economic efficiency and growth. By distorting market dynamics, tariffs can lead to misallocation of resources, reducing GDP potential.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimated that the Trump-era trade war reduced global GDP growth, including in the U.S., by 0.2% annually. And the chinese tariffs raised prices for households by about $800 annually. If DJT pushes widespread tariffs through, it's likely that figure will double, at least.

23:41 about the $1,000 television with 60% tariff is $1600. Now, the $1,000 television would have, on average, a 10% sales tax, making it $1100 out of pocket.
Now, the 1600 dollar television with a 10% sales tax would go up to $1760. So the TV now has an additional $60 of sales tax let's not forget to include that in the total out of pocket money is now instead of just a simple $600.00 of tariff but an additional $60 of sales tax which adds up in here in a hurry. They always leave this part off, but it's real, and it does have an impact in the long run. Capiche, so if these tariffs are costing us an additional $2,600 per year, for just the Tariff, don't forget to tack on an additional 10% sales tax. That's an additional $260 for grand total of $2,860 more per year. Isn't this fun?😢 Happy Thanksgiving everybody, stay safe, and remember to guard democracy with your life.

Actually, some Chinese manufacturers are considering moving out of Vietnam and back to China because of the poor conditions of their infrastructure, such as roads, electricity, etc, and the labor is not quite skilled yet. The unreliability in Vietnam is more costly than the tariffs. However, in order to rectify this, the Chinese government has invested heavily on the infrastructure in Vietnam and sent Chinese workers to train the Vietnamese workers. They also recently launched new trade deals to help Vietnam export more goods that they are already good at making. The Chinese government understands that a trading partner needs a stable and strong economy to be able to afford their goods. “Win-win” as they say.

What also needs to be understood and what seems to be largely ignored by the media is this: if your (foreign) competitor's goods go in cost by, say, 25%, then that leaves an American company the opportunity to increase the cost of its own, substitutable goods by a similar amount and to be no worse off in the marketplace. So, these tariffs are a hidden subsidy to U.S. companies paid for by the U.S consumer. Say you're a U.S. retailer and you are trying to buy a pair of shoes wholesale from a foreign company for $50 and you are going to mark them up and sell them for $100 to the consumer. All of sudden, with a 25% tariff those foreign-made shoes will now cost you $62.50. That's okay, you think. I'll buy a similar product made in America for $50 so I don't have to pay the tariff and pass that on to the consumer. BUT, the U.S. company making a similar pair of shoes now knows that their competitors prices have just gone up 25% so, quite rationally, they can think to themselves, well I can put my prices up as well by up to 25% and still make the sale, or by a slightly smaller amount, like 20% and gain market share. Sure, you can, but the retailer is now going to see that U.S.-made pair of shoes go from $50 to $60 (a 20% increase, say). So those shoes that used to cost $100 will now cost AT LEAST $110. Tariffs are simply a sales tax and are inherently inflationary. You will pay more than you would have every time you buy something whether they are made in Mexico or in Alabama.

They already realized our democracy is in trouble and are wanting to distance them selves, and I must say, as an American, I am ashamed of what's going on and I agree with them.
