Cosima reminds me of the AMAZING BBC show Orphan Black. Tatiana Maslany KILLED IT in that show. One of her many characters was named Cosima and she was a scientist (beauty in order!).

Love Crew!!! My lovely friend Gemma has 2 year old twins Cosima and Crué (said the same as Crew) and she calls them Coco and Rué and I LOVE it!!!! 💗

I’m not so much a fan of nicknames as given names, but more that given names should have easy nicknames. That’s why I’ve always loved the name Magdalena. Hearing you talk about Lena made me think about it because it’s one of four different nicknames that easily comes from it. (Magda, Maggie, Lena, Lenni) So if you are also a long names with easy nicknames person, Magdalena might be for you!
I've loved Magdalena since I was a teenager because it's in a Bob Dylan song!

An idea I had, because there is quite some websites about it (and I am dating a South African, so I might be biased) is Zulu/Xhosa names from South Africa. They are really literal with their translations and meanings and very long and beautiful.

I was looking back at my great grandma's obituary, and her mother's middle name was Moelle! I found it so interesting. Noelle is common, but I've never heard Moelle!
Shiloh skies! Love. We just lost our first pregnancy after 3.5 years of infertility and named baby "Shiloh". I may need to purchase the Shiloh skies set for a future nursery to honor our heavenly babe.

I know a family that did nautical theme and named their children Sailor, Crew, Harbor. Order was girl, boy, boy.
For other minimal/peaceful names I think of: Psalm, Kai, Clove, Skye, Rain.
Beacon would fit in with the nautical theme! Like a lighthouse.

I teach preschool and often the littles have a tough time pronouncing Selena. So most of my students call me Miss Lena!

My middle name is Lena :) it’s after my great Nan, Lena May, born in the early 1920s, so it’s been around a while! I love the simplicity of it, whilst it’s unique, it’s not too out there and sounds like a name. Definitely on my list!
My little boy is Drew. I expected to call him Ru as a nickname but it never stuck. We call him Dewey a lot. No regrets on naming him Drew!
