I personally thought that she wanted Marinettes life, so she would swap spots with her. That or she wanted marinette erased from existence. However, after reaching the part where the realities began to disappear I realized I was thinking too small, but then my delulu brain tried to fill in the gaps by thinking in MCU fashion, that marinette was an anchor being in every universe lmao.
I mean it’s cause of her Alix got the rabbit miraculous and Alix is connected to every time through her adventures so Marinette (and Adrien) are sort of “anchor beings” in their connection to Alix getting the Rabbit Miraculous

They better not bait us again with the Wish thing. Gabe's wish was built up like this world-ending threat, the way we see in "Ephemeral", yet the moment it actually happens, it basically meant nothing. Lila's wish better be truly world-ending for the stakes to be set right again. After all, she only really need to win once.

Being rewritten with THAT wish didn't actually change the world on some fundamental level - as we see characters just kept on going with their lives after that

Bunnix did say Lila's wish was something they've ever seen before so maybe its like she wish to be like a God/Goddess like Gimmi. Something where she wouldn't need to use the Cat and LB miraculous anymore. A wish where she can make anyone and anything worships her. She could make her own world just like that and make anything go her way.
The thing with that statement is that it makes it so hard to believe her reason will be anything interesting It's just too wild. If she turns out to be a crazy villain just for the sake of it, I'll be very disappointed
I think your theory perfectly aligns with the Lila is Manon theory. Manon is very attention seeking because her mom is so busy. Most people would understand that mom has to work but Manon is so little she doesn’t understand that. All she see’s is ‘mommy is leaving me again, mommy isn’t paying attention to me’. Which I feel like could very easily lead to a Lila type character. Also Manon has three flowers on her jumpsuit Lilas, Cerise’s, and some other flower which I believe is Lila’s new fake name. Maybe Manon went back in time because something happened to Nadia and she wants to fix it to get her mom back. Maybe she blames her mom always being busy on the miraculous or maybe the miraculous cause something to happen to Nadia and taking the miraculous isn’t something she’s capable of in the future so she goes back in time to when the heroes are younger and weaker to try and get the upper hand.
Funny enough he does not like that theory. I could see it happening. His take makes me think I wonder if she’s related to Ladybug or chat somehow from the future.

This is weirdly very convincing. I had never though Lila could be from the futur before this video, despite the Manon theories. Now, that makes some sort of sense. Nadia is a really god mom though, so except death, it would be a slight stretch to have her neglect her daughter to a point she turns evil. I like the flower "proof" a lot. Though for now, my main counter point would be that a kid can't be that evil on her own, and it's based on Manon being annoying.
I don’t understand how Lila is supposedly Manon from the future, the two don’t even have the same eye color nor the same hair. How is it that sweet little girl will turn into the biggest of psychopaths in this show?

In some ways Lila has it a bit easier than Gabriel. She is starting with a lot of the information that Gabriel had to earn over the last 5 seasons and a big one is that she has nothing much to lose further. Gabe had his whole brand, Adrien, Natalie he had to play super reserved. With Lila she can even get caught or found out and just slip away into a new identity because she has nobody else that we know of. There is a lot of cool new interactions tha Lila can have that Gabe just couldn'ta and I'm really excited for it. Also since the heros are a much stronger force now, assuming all them always active with no time limit, they will have to power her uo in some way to match.
I don't think all of them have unlimited time otherwise it be well too op and boring rather only chat noir and lb would have unlimited time while the rest would need to recharge
I love the Lila is Manon and has traveled through time into the past theorie. Her breaking point comes when Ladybug (who i'm pretty sure became Manons friend after saving her which makes Lilas story true.) told her off. The wish might have been something along the lines of "I wish Ladybug had never existed." Ladybug is so ingrained in "our" (the ML worlds) History that it would easily erase the past, present and future.

The theory I love is the one I saw on the tik Tok video comment section where somebody said that they think Lila wished for all her lies to become real which honestly would be an interesting thing for a character like her whose whole thing is lying so all those lies becoming true would be her ultimate dream as a compulsive liar.
Lila has always been a better villain than Gabe. I just hope the payoff in the end will be worth the mystery. Even if it ends up being generic, I hope she goes out with a bang.

If the Butterfly can give anyone ANY powers… what’s even the point of the other miraculous? We’ve seen them imitate the powers many times before but Lila’s time travel in the London special just solidified it to me
This has always been a major issue with the show's biggest threats When they need it, they just make a very overpowered villain with a very convenient ability and call it a day This akuma Lila made was even more busted than Timetagger and would almost make the bunny miraculous worthless, if not for the memory loss. Hell, it means Gabriel could've still tried to go back in time after Evolution A limit to akumas, their powers and skills NEEDS to be established immediately. Because this is super lazy
Because the butterfly miraculous is a lot more limited. You can't remember things unless you teach yourself how to record them in an akumatized state, the powers are (based on what we know) limited based on the holder's mind and intent, and clearly it has mental drawbacks. Using the butterfly miraculous seems to make the holder go crazy. Gabriel was so obsessed and steered away from his main goal to just having a pure bitter attitude towards ladybug, and Lila froze nooroo and threw a whole table. There are some drawbacks we can notice, but I do agree we need more detail on how they work and their limitations.
@@Ligytdr I think it was established, though let me know if I'm wrong, the Akuma's power depends on a few factors. One is the strength of the initial emotion of the victim, second is the will of the user of the Butterfly, and third is the power the two come up with as the mechanics of it are undetermined until it fully manifests. Like when we got Alex's first Akuma, time travel was determined first, but how to use the power, stealing other people's "time"/energy wasn't obvious until after transforming. So while Akuma can POTENTIALLY surpass the Miraculous, such power depends on specific set-ups and aren't sustainable since those kinds of emotions lead to VERY unstable individuals, and usually destruction in one form or another. But that's just my thoughts and what I remember from the show. Let me know if you think/see something I missed.
Clearly there is a limit to the powers, or else Lila could have akumatized herself into one form that has both time travel and Miraculous stealing capabilities.
I think it does have to do with the miraculous cause when we are first introduced to her one lie that she tells is that her grandmother was a miraculous holder of the fox and in the episode she seems to care for the necklace that had the akuma in it, and it even looked exactly like the fox miraculous so it could be something like how, maybe her mother or grandmother was a miraculous holder, but then they lost their miraculous because in the origin episode Mr. Fu has even said that he made a mistake in trusting one of the miraculous to someone and how that he’ll never make that mistake again and we know it couldn’t be the peacock or the moth because he lost them. He didn’t give it to anyone so it must’ve been the fox, and Lila must have witnessed him, take it away from her grandmother Or someone that she cares about that cost her to lose all her memories maybe even forgetting her like how Mr. Fu lost all his memory when he made Marinette the guardian
except that's a lie of hers, she got the necklace from a jewelry store after she saw the book of guardians that Adrien was reading, while Marinette was chasing her
I think I might be reading too deep into this, but I think it'd be cool if Lila's wish was something simple like having a stable family or home life. Because to me, it seems like she's being set up as a foster child or orphan of sorts, it's obvious she has many different families and she's shown to be neglected by a couple of them as well (Short red haired mother who's constantly on the phone and on business trips). It'd be neat if she was revealed to be a foster child and maybe thats why she's had so many different families and why she makes such complex lies, because she is constantly going through the foster system and looking for a family that will actually want to keep her. She lies to make herself seem appealing to her foster families and those around her so that they won't abandon her, but from what I'm getting, in the end they do. This can also explain why she's so jealous of Marinette and why she makes friends with Chloe (other than for the shared hatred of Marinette and Ladybug), in her eyes, Marinette is perfect. She's liked by (almost) everybody in the school, her life is interesting and full of excitement (girl literally is a designer for Jagged Stone, 'normal' my butt) and most importantly, she has a loving family and a stable home life. And she makes friends with Chloe not just out of malicious intentions, but because she can relate to her and learn from her, Chloe is neglected by her mother and father, they compensate by spoiling her (which is never enough) and she constantly shows her true colours to everybody, which makes them dislike her. Maybe I'm just making the plot for the writers at this point, but I just think it'd be pretty in character if Lila's wish was something simple and maybe even a bit stupid, because at the end of the day, she shouldn't be a crazy mastermind genius, she should be a teenager.
Thats a nice idea, But once again it wouldnt wipe out all the timelines only a couple, and although her having teenager motives would be nice. It is highly unlikely considering everything in the london special, if she had those intentions i feel she would seem a bit more fragile. The writers have definatly painted her as someone who knows what she wants and intends to get it. If she was a fragile teen she wouldnt seem so angry all the time. Its a nice idea - but i feel it wouldnt fit the plot AT ALL. Soo. yeah
she will probably find out a bunch of the classmates identities, like rose,ivan,mylene etc bc they are all dumb and believe her lies so she could easily manipulate them or something

Since Chloe is confirmed to come back on Season 6, i pretty much think Lila will on Season 6 Finale steal the Bee Miraculous from Vesperia, and give it to Chloe, then she'll become Lila's Right Hand
If she stole all of Gabe and Natalie's data, wouldn't she know at least 5 of her (ex) classmates are holders? realistically they'd be easy prey, but wouldn't surprise me everyone "forgets" about it until the plot demands it.
Though considering Marinette mentioned making changes to the miraculous, the black cat and ladybug included. She's probably adding some features making it easier to get them back, or make it so only the given holder can use them. *Being akumatized counts as a different holder too* Thus requiring Lila to find a way to get them on her side, which considering how gullible people have been with her lies in any form... Will probably happen, where the hero team splits. With Characters like Luka, Felix, Kagami, Nino being some of Team Ladybug. While Characters like Alya, might fall for the lies. She wouldn't out Ladybug's identity out of their friendship, but wouldn't help her anymore. The team getting split evenly, but relationships get broken up in some parts. Like Nino and Alya for example. With the dark future episode involving Cat Noir joining Lila's side, leading to a universal cataclysm.
This is a good take. Personally I think her wish might be that she received the lady bug miraculous from the beginning. If she wished for the miraculous to be gone I feel like not much would change and things would just continue without he past being destroyed. However if she wishes for her to have received the ladybug miraculous the past get erased cause it’s rewriting itself with her at the center. There’s also the fact she used to really want to be a holder in the beginning with the fox miraculous so to me it makes a little more sense.
If the miraculous are gone... That means that the mage who discovered them wouldn't even exist... It actually would make a massive change in the timeline with historical figures like Jeanne D' Arc (she wouldn't be able to make miracles like in her story and wouldn't become a true important woman in history) Basically no miraculous = reboot the multiverse = a dark reality...??? 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

I think shes a orphan who tragically lost her mother or family and she somehow time travelled to the current miraculous time maybe to try to learn more about the heroes when they were younger and less experienced. Maybe her wish was to bring her family back which caused a butterfly effect and thats why the future was getting erased
Might I suggest a wish to forge Gimi into a Miraculous that only she can Use across all of time (this effectively removes the wish from being a possibility in the universe for everyone but her and removes the two most powerful miraculous from Existence whilst also making the most powerful kwami hers
I could totally picture that happening, Lila wishes for the power to warp and or bend reality at will. That way she'd be invincible and so powerful, That literally nobody not even anyone with a Miraculous could stop her, Because if they tried then Lila would just wipe them out of existence with a snap of her fingers.
I love this theory! I do think she wants to wish for the Miraculous to either be gone, or potentially, she wants to wish herself into Ladybug's place-- Ladybug seemingly has everything she couldn't get her grasp on; fame, love, unwavering adoring fans and power. With her wishing herself into the position of Ladybug and the guardian, she could have potentially ruined timelines because that changes the users and every choice made by Ladybug. I remember way back in s1 or 2, Fu had made a reference to picking a bad holder (more specifically being wrong about a holder) once. Maybe if Lila is from another time, it was the past and she was said holder, she was stripped of her Miraculous and decided to come to present day to try and get her position back because that is a LOT of power just taken from her. Starting out she even tried to play hero and be "the only hero Paris needs" which fuels the idea for me that she desires that position of power and the adoring fanbase. She even started flirting with Adrien, seemingly more forwardly when she found out he had a crush on Ladybug. Definitely a bit of circumstantial evidence to get here, but I think it's a super fascinating theory that she had a tie to the Miraculous that maybe she lost through her questionable morality and reasons for wanting to be involved, maybe an abuse of the power she got and now she thinks she can either wish her way back into that love and adoration, or she has decided if she can't have the golden hero status, nobody can.
I have a theory when it comes to the wish wiping out the world, Nathalie's death was recent so not much had to change, where as with Emilie if he made that wish it would stop her from getting sick by either fixing the peacock or having her refuse to use it which in turn would alter the past and there for wipe out the timeline

She tries to kiss him that would be creepy to try to seduce your parent from another time so that would be a very creepy it would probably be worse than the season five finale
Apparently most of you cannot seem to comprehend villains that do not have sympathetic motives and backgrounds. Some of fantasy's best villains work so well because they are like dark forces personified. Barlow from Salem's Lot (1979), Gul'Dan and Queen Azshara from Warcraft, many Lovecraftian cultists, etc. I could go on. I don't know what her wish was, but I hope she stays scary or gets even scarier because it raises the stakes and gives the audience a reason to care. Plus, making her pure nightmare fuel distinguishes her; trying to make her more palatable to a tame audience would make her forgettable, just another in a long list of tragedies we have seen time and time again. A horror-fantasy villain that hangs like a black cloud over all the world is way more memorable than some lonely orphan crying for her mommy.

You know, I wonder if her Wish is somehow connected to Null. For Context: Null is the Kwami of Nothingness who was originally going to work with Gabriel as their goal is to bring the world back to nothingness. Which might explain why the timelines were being wiped out. As to the reason why Lila would make a wish like that. Well, I like to think she might've been forced to since wasn't she visited by a mysterious force at the end of the last season?
The only thing that makes her a villain is herself being a pathological liar because she’s very deceptive all the time and no one can notice it. Just like we all didn’t know her name was a fake as well as her disguise. We all fell for it for 9 years. But as we saw her first failed attempt in London special, she went psycho. Like Chronobug said, she is clever but not clever enough. Because when something destroys the future timeline or alters it, Bunnyx will always be on the alert to warn Ladybug and save the timeline from the butterfly effect happening, which they did. Ladybug always relies on her teammates, Lila doesn’t rely on anyone. But as we saw how psycho she went with her first failed attempt as the butterfly holder, she’s definitely gonna end up exactly like Gabriel because she has no idea how hard it is to defeat Ladybug and Cat Noir. When that happens, she’ll lose her grip on reality. Even as far as losing her mind.

I think she doesn't even know it either. And maybe later the writers will come up with a motivation...hastily written on a napkin. Hard to tell since she's a horribly inconsistent character and a villain sue; At first originally Lila was to be Chloe's replacement as the new school bully, just that...but then Asstruc sabotaged that, and then Lila disappeared in season 4 when they realized she was too much like the flanderized Chloe, and then they reimagined the character into something totally different by changing her hair and turning her into a "mastermind". Just like when her hatred for Ladybug was replaced by making her hate Marinette, even though "Lila" never interacted with the baker girl until "Chameleon". It's not intriguing, it's frustrating. I bet later they're going to reveal that she's Marinette's sister/cousin. At this point even the theory of her being Mamon from the future would sound plausible at this point. "replacement for Chloe" seems like a very one dimensional idea and im glad they moved Lila to where she is now. She's intelligent, manipulative and cunning, far more than what Chloe ever was and from this special it's clear she is more sophisticated than Gabe, she is likely to be a much better villain. And her hatred for Ladybug has not disappeared, I have not seen that to be the case at all. She probably hates ladybug just as much as Marinette. And the first time Lila interacts with Marinette was in Volpina, S1 Ep26 I thought?
@@julianvazquez5281 I have two examples here: 1- Gorizilla: the perfume commercial shows Adrien with a feather on top of him, and this feather is identical to the ones from the Peacock Miraculous. 2- Origins: Adrien asks why he can't go to school like anyone else, but Gabriel replies that "he's not like anyone else". These are very subtle hints, but you can notice them by rewatching the episodes.
@@julianvazquez5281 The hints started appearing as early as season 1 and season 2. The paint of Emily is based on a famous painting of a woman who couldn't have kids, Adele Bloch-Bauer. The fact that the show set up really early that 2 miraculous were lost, and that Adrien mother got sick, and this Miraculous was never used, as early as the end of season 1. This isn't a coincidence, this was a set up, and a neat one. I already thought about how his mom had used the Miraculous to either save or have Adrien. As soon as Felix joins the show, you know something is weird, it's impossible for cousins to be identical like that, and the way that the rings and Felix relationship to those were set up wasn't normal. When Mayura is introduced you can immediately see Gabriel saying that he never wanted that price to be paid again, meaning that Emily used the Miraculous, but for what? Of course it's for Adrien, it's the only thing that would make sense. The more Mayura is explored the more obvious it gets, sentimonsters are described as perfect, and Adrien has ALWAYS been described as perfect by everyone in the show. There is a whole episode where Mayura makes a humanoid Ladybug Sentimonster and Ladybug and Adrien say she is perfect and that there is nothing monstruous or evil about her. Notice that everything I'm describing here is at season 3. And it all fits perfectly. Everything after that is just to make more and more obvious.
You know, I have a very strong feeling that Lila might be somebody from the reverse universe......maybe even somebody related to the Supreme. Like the Supreme, she wants everythings to be about her. Her wish destroys the entire timeline and reality of the MAIN universe but nothing says that it couldn't have spared the other universes. After all, it does feel quite suspicious for Miraculous to suddenly release a special about an alternate universe of all things when none of that was referenced beforehand.
I think it would be in character for Lila to want to rule the whole world. I think an interesting twist would be her being such a control freak that she literally wants to rewrite the entire timeline from scratch and that's why it messes up every other timeline. They could even make up a time limit by saying they only have a year to stop her before every change is made permanent or something.

I think Lila is like Jack Horner (from puss and boots the last wish) she wants all the powers to herself to become a powerful villain to rule the entire universe hence why the timelines slowly disappear because she took that away, Lila (or who ever her real identity is) wants to be the only one standing the only one who can use the power of the miraculous of her deeds, she wants that SHE NEEDS POWER she’s so power hungry she do anything even destroy the world if she has to Also my other theory is Lila isn’t a teenager she’s a grown adult, she sounds different and looks exactly like an adult, if you remember the movie orphan she’s literally a 40 year old woman who looks like a 10 year old, point is- Lila is an adult and she preys on adrien or who ever she wants to have (That or her future self kills her past self so she can take the miraculous, hence why Lila screamed at the end of the season)

if you consider the Manon is Lila theory, her desire to get rid of the miraculous might center on some problem with Nadia. either she died, or got wrapped up in the ladybug buzz and started neglecting her.
to add to this, cause it's funny, y'all see how Lila's new looks has blonde hair, blue eyes and same light skin = Adrienette future kid. And for some reason Marinette has to give up being guardian early, forgetting her kid, the kid somehow goes back in time which would tots work for her wanting to get rid of the miraculous.
I think there’s a strong possibility of her being a child of neglect. And the idea of it being because of a superhero is a fascinating concept. Maybe her mom was too focused on saving the world and didn’t prioritize her daughter over the world. Maybe that’s why she’s always been resentful of Ladybug
Finally a special that bring more to the plot than just side characters that show only in the final and really contribute to the story of series, being a link between seasons. I really like they show Lila as clever intelligent character, who first thing was made herself a time travel akuma, something what Gabriel never done in the Ladybug. Her change in apperance is understand, knowing that she's on the run now. Fight scenes were really good, talk with Kagami and Nathalie. But how I really want to made rant on this one too... to be honest I can accept that it's just a young kid show, something I should treat as something with sense of My Littlle Pony or propably even less, and that the contuinity and what characters learn or how their story goes dosen't matter, and logic there is pointless. Warn there because are spoilers. First off, she let Kagami just go with her mother, knowing she's ally of the terrorist? Yea I know S5 finale, but it's still look like that only villain who pay somehow was Chloe. Not even talk with her, not threat "do something similar and you will be ended"? Then next go, akuma steal her Miracolous... does really she not do any preparations like, just ask Kwamis to be on guard? Basically Plagg could stop this from the beggining but whatever, let's go. Gabriel do his wish and I see Gimmie see nothing wrong with akumatised Lila being near, because why Kwami of reality should care about akuma who get sudden nearby. And then Marinette find a time to speak with Nathalie and destroy all things relate to him, but not time to search there for damn Butterfly Miracolous? Not back to civil and ask Tikki, Plagg or maybe other Kwamis to help search for Butterfly? She basically let Lila steal it (Ofc other question is how Lila get Butterfly. Only option is she somehow get by miracle when Wish was made, becasuse I can't see how she get down there to get Miracolous). Bunnyx burrow? Can't they look if someone get near or inside mansion, to just look who's Hawky? I knew it will end quick Lila reign, but damn, for some reason good guys don't do reasonable things. Or when Mari finally get notebook, can't they search in burrow whose one is this? And really, if the akuma object not need to be on person, just like what Nathalie show, then why Gabe as Hawky not use this more often? Why not Nathalie suggest something similar to him, really teenage Villain Sue do all this only on herself? Why Mari bring back her notebook, not read it first and then try to learn whos hawky, what she know and if she can't do any of that against her? Still anyway propably best special, because it was really only one that contribute anything to the story. Still I think it would be better with Lila just as before, side villain, with propably a Tomoe somehow obtain Butterfly (with her technology in his lair have much more sense), with Lila at her side as accompliance who ofc want to backstab her. After S3 they made her fly off for nearly one and half season, and then sudden, thx to plot powers, they made her a "real threat". IDK if I would not prefer to watch than usual hawky of the week just watch LB and CN fight those aliens, evil queens and whatever Bunnyx show in Time Tagger.
Building on the Lila is from a different time theory, I think Lila is from an alternate timeline, similar to Shadybug. Instead of trying to get back to her original universe, maybe she wants to the miraculous in order to completely reshape the universe the way she wants it. This theory would explain why Lila has all those fake identities, because he simply doesn't exist in this universe. Maybe that's why she's also had it out for Marinette since day 1 lol. Marinette just really sucks in her other universe. Heck, maybe she's even from that universe. I mean Marinette didn't seem particularly friendly there and there's an evil ladybug, plus the miraculous can't be used to make a wish in that one so it makes sense that she'd be seeking out these ones. It'd also explain why she could've known known about the miraculous from day one.
Did wanna say, Sass himself says that any wish no matter how small wipes time back to front, front to back, and gives it a rework. And that wishes don't always change exclusively what the wisher asks for. An opposing wish is also made (exchange life for death, red for green, etc) and any number of other small details can also be changed if necessary. If Lyla wished for a penny to appear into existence on her next birthday, the universe would still be remade just to accommodate that one change. Likely because time itself has to be altered to add that event. I find it funny that everyone always misses what literally every single Kwami in the series has repeated over and over. If you want to add a red line of text (The change) to a book written in blue (the Universe), you have to write the entire book in red, and it's impossible to know if you'll make every stroke precisely the same.
Lila desperately needs a backstory and a motive. Her lack of either of those things is what makes her such a bland and uninteresting character. How am I supposed to care what she does if I don’t ever find out why she does it?
Well to be honest I don't mind if she just wanted to be a god, or world ruler but good backstory of how she get her powerbase and how she get enough clever to not be caught by Tsurugi or Gabriel too.

When making a wish with Gimme, there is always a cost needed to be payed to ensure a universal balance. Previously, in episodes like Ephemeral where Gabriel made a wish before Sass used his power to return to the time before Adrien revealed his identity to Ladybug, he didn't care about the cost. He was willing to let anyone switch places with Emilie to maintain that universal balance, which is why the bright light engulfs everything when the wish is made. The universe is being re-written. As for Lila, I genuinely think she wished the just destroy the world. Period. Like flat line destroyed. She just shows so much hatred and has become one of the main embodiments of a villain throughout the series from day one. The love she showed was all lies and so we haven't seen any true love or affection shown from her towards anything, unlike Gabriel where we learned about his wife. Then again, we learnt about Gabriel and his wife in season 2 so season 6 may (and hopefully will) unpack more to Lila's character. As for the cost of the wish I proposed she could have made, it would need a new world to be created still to balance it out. How would that world be like? No clue. Her character really leaves us puzzled. Hopefully though, we will learn soon.
Lila, from what we’ve seen, wants nothing more than to be loved by everyone around. That’s why she lies about who she is and what she does in her free time. She ultimately hates how boring and ordinary she truly is, so she makes things up yo make herself seem more interesting. And that’s why she hates Marinette so much, as Marinette has a basic background and personality and yet is beloved by everyone and even captures the attention of famous people. As such, I theorize that Lila wished for all of her lies to be true. As a consequence, her real life was erased, as was the world around her. The lies became the truth, and the truth became nothing more than lies. Only Lila would remember the original reality. That’s why the Burrow began disappearing, as literally everything previously was erased. The universe was restructuring itself completely around the Wish. I think that Lila is actually a foster kid. Maybe that’s why she has different mothers? I really don’t see how Lila can juggle multiple home-lives otherwise, and I hope the show doesn’t pretend that it’s a realistic possibility. Maybe being a foster makes Lila feel unwanted, as she always gets returned at the end of the day? At least, I hope that’s where Lila’s character motive is going. Really don’t want to see her be some immortal or time traveler like many people are theorizing. That would just seem a bit too unrealistic to me, as there’s legit been no foreshadowing for it at all.
Their wish is imo after watching the video to suppress the desires that lead to the trouble of the wisher, said desires allowed to originate from being, miraculous, concept and object alike. I mean, if you think about it, it has to be a wish that not only erases timelines from the sounds of your tone, but can do so regardless of the conditions applied to the past. And if anyone asks if their free will isn't applied? "They felt like stopping her, but they changed their mind. Can't last forever." The perfect alibi.
I think you're overthinking where "Lila" is concerned. I see her as more of a sociopathic opportunist. Her knowledge of the Miraculous, that's just all the information that she had Natalie steal from Gabriel in Revelation. Yes, she's clever and devious, or else her multiple identity schemes wouldn't work, but she's still reasonably fallible. Her actions in Oni-Chan are a good example. At the very least, your theory about her past makes sense combined with my she's really an adult theory.
My current guess is a wish like all my lies are True, recreate reality in my image, or to Become the kwami of reality, to kill gimi, or to Forge Gimi into a Miraculous for her to use and have always been a singular miraculous (basically plagg and tikki being Excised from the timeline)

Oh my dog, it just hit me. Lila is Marinette's KID from another future!! Specifically, a future in which she didn't get with Adrien and was still the Guardian! Likely due to the whole Secret identity thing taken to it's logical extreme, Marinette would have lived her life protecting the Miraculous, but likely due to Nino and Aliya trying to "get Marinette out of her shell", they'd have gotten her to a party either after high school, or during College, and well drunken shenanigans ensued. So then Mari would fall preggers, and being Mari wouldn't terminate and simply strive to do everything herself, since that's just how she is. And in typical Mari fashion, to a point and from outside she might be doing "ok", but for Lila, "ok" was never gunna be good enough. And since Mari would basically be "too busy for relationships", that would inadvertently include Lila to a point, mirroring Gabe after he lost his wife. Throw in Lila not being given enough attention and she'd likely be poking around until she found the book and the Kwami. Now depending on if Gabe was defeated in this timeline or not, leaning towards not due to identities, Lila may have made a successful bargain that got her into the past, specifically when she knew her mother hadn't become the guardian yet. And thus, this whole time was a slow burn to torture her mother, usurp her dreams with Adrien, who she only ever knew as someone that had her mother's attention even when she had no time for anyone else due to her various activities, (Perhaps including being Ladybug), and when Hawkmoth finally took the L, Lila knew enough to step in and take Nuroo. So yeah, that's where my head is at. And heck, Gabe might have taken the L in Lila's future, so she might have discovered Nuroo herself, and the way back to the past was using Nuroo like Gabe did, making an Akuma and then getting it used on herself by detransforming and getting real mad. If this is where that is going, and her wish is to be the "Main Character" while replacing Marinette, that would change the entire universal dynamic of Miraculous, likely costing say...all the Miraculous' power? Just saying, being the new protag and taking someone else's place outright DOES sound in cosmological sense kinda huge. But that's just my tinfoil hat idea, I could be way off. Anyone else got ideas?
If i’m correct I don’t think the wish erased the past. bunnix even said that they could go back in time but not forward since the wish only really affected the future. I could be wrong but I don’t think her wish was past altering.

I think Lilia'a wish might be strongly related to gabriel's past. Gabriel seemed to ba apart of a rebel group, which lila's parents might have been a part of. Maybe something bad happened to them which lead lila down a road of vengance? It seems like her wish is not trying to "fix" something but rather get vengence.
While watching, something came to mind. Is it possible for Lila is be marinette’s future daughter? Maybe that’s the reason why she went back to the past. And why she has such distain for marinette. I can see like some wish possibility would be she wishes she could possibly take the place of Marinette mainly because we can see her having multiple identities constantly moving around so she would maybe want some stability if she could take on Marinettes place where she has loving parents and friends and possibly dating Adrian, but also if she did wish for that it would possibly wipe out the timeline if it does follow Marinette though the only flaw could be how would it wipe out the past? Omg what if Lila’s parents were apart of the order of the guardians? And since they used miraculous’s, they ultimately got killed in a battle with a villain, leaving Lila all alone at a young age. This then caused her to hate anything to do with miraculous’ and her wish ends up being to erase all miraculous? This also explains how she knew so much about miraculous in the first place and even knew how to identify a miraculous book; her parents were part of the order guardians! She has knowledge about the miraculous because she grew up around them, but hates them because they got her parents killed so her wish would be to erase them! Right? What do you guys think?

I think you might actually be onto something with this theory. At first glance, it might seem like Lila’s wish would be for something like ultimate power or adoration from everybody, but when you look deeper, it has to be something much much bigger than that in order for every timeline to be erased from existence. Perhaps, the ultimate goal or her wish was so she could achieve her goal of gaining some ultimate power or being adored by everyone, but the wish itself maybe was to remove any obstacles or a major obstacle that’s stood in her way. What’s always stood in her way? Ladybug, the miraculous superheroes! I think it would make sense that her wish would be for something like erasing all miraculouses from history because without the miraculouses, there would be no obstacles standing in her way or being adored by everyone. There would be no superheroes to steal away her attention. Ladybug is obviously the center of her hatred as the hero who gets the most attention, but I think her hatred could potentially extend to all miraculous users or heroes themselves considering that she has pictures of some of the different heroes besides Ladybug on her plotting board in her secret lair. However, there’s one major question that would arise with that theory. What would she sacrifice in order to make this happen? What could she possible have to sacrifice that would hold the same value as all the miraculouses in order to create a balance in the universe? That leads me to believe that the wish has to be even more specific than just erasing all the miraculouses. I think her wish might’ve been to specifically erase the ladybug miraculous from existence or to wish away the existence of all the ladybug users in history. What could she sacrifice for that? All the other miraculouses. Maybe in her eyes, it would be like killing two birds with one stone because not only would she be removing the obstacle of the Ladybug miraculous, but there would never be any other miraculouses to stop her or steal away her attention ever again. I theorize that Lila’s backstory will likely relate to her being an orphan and that’s why she decides to create so many identities in order for her to get all this attention she craves because perhaps in her eyes, as a little girl she was unwanted, so she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never feels that way again, even if it means creating this webs of lies and having multiple identities in order to make herself seem as desirable to as many people as possible. When Ladybug becomes this overnight sensation and a hero of Paris to everybody, maybe Lila stops getting the attention she feels she deserves because everybody starts admiring and paying attention to Ladybug. That’s when Lila decides to create her “Lila Rossi” identity so she can suddenly show up as this “new girl” who knows Ladybug as well as all these other famous idols. Perhaps this was her way of trying to sway all the attention back on herself by latching onto Ladybug’s fame by making up these lies about knowing her and being her best friend. That’s when Ladybug shows up and exposes her and her lies. Eventually, Marinette does the same and Lila starts her feud with her. After finding out that Marinette is Ladybug, perhaps Lila was originally gonna wish for Marinette to be erased from the timeline but ultimately decides that removing the obstacle of the Ladybug miraculous and the potential for all future Ladybug users would be even better. Maybe her wish really was to erase Marinette/Ladybug from existence, but she would still need to sacrifice something and maybe what she sacrifices is the Ladybug miraculous. Sacrificing the Ladybug miraculous would make sense with erasing all the timelines because without the miraculous of creation, there can literally be no timelines in the past or the future. I realize I ended up just discussing multiple theories, but I think you’re definitely onto something with the idea of the wish relating to the erasure of the miraculouses in some way, whether the wish was to directly erase the miraculouses or the price of the wish was the miraculouses themselves. Ultimately, I don’t think Lila would see the erasure of the miraculouses as a big loss because it would just mean that’s there’s less competition standing in the way of her attention or less means of exposing her lies. If they decide to go the time travel route and have Lila originally coming from a different timeline, I think it would make sense for her to have encountered and developed a hatred towards another Ladybug user in her original timeline, which would make the impact of her wish to erase the Ladbug miraculous even greater because not only would she be erasing our present day Ladbug, but also potentially another Ladybug from her own timeline. Maybe in her eyes, erasing the obstacles of Ladybug and the ladybug miraculous would make her life better, but doing so would quite literally wipe out the entire universe and every timeline in existence. Honestly, at this point I’m really curious for season 6 and hopefully getting to explore Lila’s motivations and background more. I really wanna know what this girl wants besides just defeating Ladybug and Cat Noir. Great theory!

That's what I was saying, I had a theory that Lila could be a future person who went back in time on a mission to stop ladybug and cat noir destroying the world but she needs to lie.
I have a theory that Lila is Manon. Both of them look similar and Manon’s mother is the news lady (forgot her name) but her mother is very busy and never has time for Manon. Manon either 1: grew up, found a way to time travel back to her past to make her mother give her more attention or 2:travel back in time to get the miraculous (ladybug and black cat) to make a wish (whatever it is). Proof that Lila is Manon or related to Manon: 1.In the earlier seasons (s1-s3) Manon was always shown on screen. She also appeared in the first episode of season 1 (character introduction doesn’t happen for no reason, there must be a significance to Manon’s character) 2.Manon’s outfit has 3 different flowers (lila,cerise, smth else sorry I forgot), these flower names are the same names as Lila’s different alter egos. 3.In the puppeteer, Manon is akumatised and her wish is to control the puppets. This is very similar to the way Lila controls people with her lies. 4. Chris the time traveler villain guy (sorry I forgot his actual name) says that a special someone is the love of his life. This special someone could be Lila. (Proof as Lila gives little Chris a nose boop, why would she do that unless they were lovers in the future?) 5.Manon and Lila’s color palette are very similar, and their features look similar too. The Lila shown in London special when she becomes the new hawk moth shows how she really looks without all the wigs, and it looks exactly as if you picture Manon grown up. Conclusion: either I’m crazy or I’m onto something lol

My guess is that she wants ladybug to never ever exist in the first place, like no Kami’s ever. Maybe her relatives and parents go deleted by the wish and she wants to undo it that way
I have a bit of a more disappointing solution but what if the timeline disappearing had nothing to do with Lila's wish being anything specific? We've never seen Bunnix go into the den when a wish is being made so maybe this is what happens to the den when the wish is made? The wish rewrites the entire world so maybe the den would have been rewritten alongside it? Once the last time portal closed, a new den would be made. This makes sense as the burrow would need to change in order to fit in with the new timeline. Or maybe it just changes so you can't undue the wish.
If Lila was mis placed in time, it could be fun for her mum to be future Alex. Alex busy doing time stuff is still present but never really there, never fully noticing her kid is gone cause she still turns up at appointed times.
My theory is that she's the daughter of the prince that was originally gonna marry Adrian's mother that was put in foster care which explains her multiple identities and three different moms or she's a secret agent hired by Adrian's grandfather to ruin Adrian and everyone in Adrian's life as revenge for his daughters betrayal of the royal family

I think the problem with the theory is the balancing factor the wish had. 'Cause like yes, she could wish for the miraculouses to never have existed and all of that, but how would you balance that?
I'm gonna throw in a random one, she wishes she could was ladybug. From what we seen, past and future ladybug is adored. And if she wants to truly be adored what better way then being the most adored hero. One of, if not the best ladybug that's ever been in Tikki's eyes.
Erasing the miraculous would be a huge change in the timeline. The miraculous of Freedom from the New York special was a big part of American history. We don't know how many are out there or which ones had curved history to make the world as it is. Doing this could indirectly erase the other superheroes too!

However, after reaching the part where the realities began to disappear I realized I was thinking too small, but then my delulu brain tried to fill in the gaps by thinking in MCU fashion, that marinette was an anchor being in every universe lmao.

They better not bait us again with the Wish thing. Gabe's wish was built up like this world-ending threat, the way we see in "Ephemeral", yet the moment it actually happens, it basically meant nothing. Lila's wish better be truly world-ending for the stakes to be set right again. After all, she only really need to win once.

I think your theory perfectly aligns with the Lila is Manon theory. Manon is very attention seeking because her mom is so busy. Most people would understand that mom has to work but Manon is so little she doesn’t understand that. All she see’s is ‘mommy is leaving me again, mommy isn’t paying attention to me’. Which I feel like could very easily lead to a Lila type character. Also Manon has three flowers on her jumpsuit Lilas, Cerise’s, and some other flower which I believe is Lila’s new fake name. Maybe Manon went back in time because something happened to Nadia and she wants to fix it to get her mom back. Maybe she blames her mom always being busy on the miraculous or maybe the miraculous cause something to happen to Nadia and taking the miraculous isn’t something she’s capable of in the future so she goes back in time to when the heroes are younger and weaker to try and get the upper hand.

This is weirdly very convincing. I had never though Lila could be from the futur before this video, despite the Manon theories. Now, that makes some sort of sense. Nadia is a really god mom though, so except death, it would be a slight stretch to have her neglect her daughter to a point she turns evil. I like the flower "proof" a lot. Though for now, my main counter point would be that a kid can't be that evil on her own, and it's based on Manon being annoying.

In some ways Lila has it a bit easier than Gabriel. She is starting with a lot of the information that Gabriel had to earn over the last 5 seasons and a big one is that she has nothing much to lose further. Gabe had his whole brand, Adrien, Natalie he had to play super reserved. With Lila she can even get caught or found out and just slip away into a new identity because she has nobody else that we know of.
There is a lot of cool new interactions tha Lila can have that Gabe just couldn'ta and I'm really excited for it. Also since the heros are a much stronger force now, assuming all them always active with no time limit, they will have to power her uo in some way to match.
I don't think all of them have unlimited time otherwise it be well too op and boring rather only chat noir and lb would have unlimited time while the rest would need to recharge

I love the Lila is Manon and has traveled through time into the past theorie.
Her breaking point comes when Ladybug (who i'm pretty sure became Manons friend after saving her which makes Lilas story true.) told her off.
The wish might have been something along the lines of "I wish Ladybug had never existed." Ladybug is so ingrained in "our" (the ML worlds) History that it would easily erase the past, present and future.
Lila can be manon from the future and exedently she travel with rabbit miraculous and forget everything about her half and her wish is she want her real family
The theory I love is the one I saw on the tik Tok video comment section where somebody said that they think Lila wished for all her lies to become real which honestly would be an interesting thing for a character like her whose whole thing is lying so all those lies becoming true would be her ultimate dream as a compulsive liar.
Lila has always been a better villain than Gabe. I just hope the payoff in the end will be worth the mystery. Even if it ends up being generic, I hope she goes out with a bang.

If the Butterfly can give anyone ANY powers… what’s even the point of the other miraculous? We’ve seen them imitate the powers many times before but Lila’s time travel in the London special just solidified it to me

When they need it, they just make a very overpowered villain with a very convenient ability and call it a day
This akuma Lila made was even more busted than Timetagger and would almost make the bunny miraculous worthless, if not for the memory loss. Hell, it means Gabriel could've still tried to go back in time after Evolution
A limit to akumas, their powers and skills NEEDS to be established immediately. Because this is super lazy
Because the butterfly miraculous is a lot more limited. You can't remember things unless you teach yourself how to record them in an akumatized state, the powers are (based on what we know) limited based on the holder's mind and intent, and clearly it has mental drawbacks. Using the butterfly miraculous seems to make the holder go crazy. Gabriel was so obsessed and steered away from his main goal to just having a pure bitter attitude towards ladybug, and Lila froze nooroo and threw a whole table. There are some drawbacks we can notice, but I do agree we need more detail on how they work and their limitations.
In theory, as the kwamis said one, they cannot give the power of other kwamis but - haha
@@Ligytdr I think it was established, though let me know if I'm wrong, the Akuma's power depends on a few factors. One is the strength of the initial emotion of the victim, second is the will of the user of the Butterfly, and third is the power the two come up with as the mechanics of it are undetermined until it fully manifests. Like when we got Alex's first Akuma, time travel was determined first, but how to use the power, stealing other people's "time"/energy wasn't obvious until after transforming. So while Akuma can POTENTIALLY surpass the Miraculous, such power depends on specific set-ups and aren't sustainable since those kinds of emotions lead to VERY unstable individuals, and usually destruction in one form or another. But that's just my thoughts and what I remember from the show. Let me know if you think/see something I missed.
Clearly there is a limit to the powers, or else Lila could have akumatized herself into one form that has both time travel and Miraculous stealing capabilities.
I think it does have to do with the miraculous cause when we are first introduced to her one lie that she tells is that her grandmother was a miraculous holder of the fox and in the episode she seems to care for the necklace that had the akuma in it, and it even looked exactly like the fox miraculous so it could be something like how, maybe her mother or grandmother was a miraculous holder, but then they lost their miraculous because in the origin episode Mr. Fu has even said that he made a mistake in trusting one of the miraculous to someone and how that he’ll never make that mistake again and we know it couldn’t be the peacock or the moth because he lost them. He didn’t give it to anyone so it must’ve been the fox, and Lila must have witnessed him, take it away from her grandmother Or someone that she cares about that cost her to lose all her memories maybe even forgetting her like how Mr. Fu lost all his memory when he made Marinette the guardian

I think I might be reading too deep into this, but I think it'd be cool if Lila's wish was something simple like having a stable family or home life. Because to me, it seems like she's being set up as a foster child or orphan of sorts, it's obvious she has many different families and she's shown to be neglected by a couple of them as well (Short red haired mother who's constantly on the phone and on business trips). It'd be neat if she was revealed to be a foster child and maybe thats why she's had so many different families and why she makes such complex lies, because she is constantly going through the foster system and looking for a family that will actually want to keep her. She lies to make herself seem appealing to her foster families and those around her so that they won't abandon her, but from what I'm getting, in the end they do.
This can also explain why she's so jealous of Marinette and why she makes friends with Chloe (other than for the shared hatred of Marinette and Ladybug), in her eyes, Marinette is perfect. She's liked by (almost) everybody in the school, her life is interesting and full of excitement (girl literally is a designer for Jagged Stone, 'normal' my butt) and most importantly, she has a loving family and a stable home life. And she makes friends with Chloe not just out of malicious intentions, but because she can relate to her and learn from her, Chloe is neglected by her mother and father, they compensate by spoiling her (which is never enough) and she constantly shows her true colours to everybody, which makes them dislike her.
Maybe I'm just making the plot for the writers at this point, but I just think it'd be pretty in character if Lila's wish was something simple and maybe even a bit stupid, because at the end of the day, she shouldn't be a crazy mastermind genius, she should be a teenager.
Thats a nice idea, But once again it wouldnt wipe out all the timelines only a couple, and although her having teenager motives would be nice. It is highly unlikely considering everything in the london special, if she had those intentions i feel she would seem a bit more fragile. The writers have definatly painted her as someone who knows what she wants and intends to get it. If she was a fragile teen she wouldnt seem so angry all the time. Its a nice idea - but i feel it wouldnt fit the plot AT ALL. Soo. yeah

This is a good take. Personally I think her wish might be that she received the lady bug miraculous from the beginning. If she wished for the miraculous to be gone I feel like not much would change and things would just continue without he past being destroyed. However if she wishes for her to have received the ladybug miraculous the past get erased cause it’s rewriting itself with her at the center. There’s also the fact she used to really want to be a holder in the beginning with the fox miraculous so to me it makes a little more sense.

I think shes a orphan who tragically lost her mother or family and she somehow time travelled to the current miraculous time maybe to try to learn more about the heroes when they were younger and less experienced. Maybe her wish was to bring her family back which caused a butterfly effect and thats why the future was getting erased

Might I suggest a wish to forge Gimi into a Miraculous that only she can Use across all of time (this effectively removes the wish from being a possibility in the universe for everyone but her and removes the two most powerful miraculous from Existence whilst also making the most powerful kwami hers
I could totally picture that happening, Lila wishes for the power to warp and or bend reality at will. That way she'd be invincible and so powerful, That literally nobody not even anyone with a Miraculous could stop her, Because if they tried then Lila would just wipe them out of existence with a snap of her fingers.
I love this theory! I do think she wants to wish for the Miraculous to either be gone, or potentially, she wants to wish herself into Ladybug's place-- Ladybug seemingly has everything she couldn't get her grasp on; fame, love, unwavering adoring fans and power. With her wishing herself into the position of Ladybug and the guardian, she could have potentially ruined timelines because that changes the users and every choice made by Ladybug.
I remember way back in s1 or 2, Fu had made a reference to picking a bad holder (more specifically being wrong about a holder) once. Maybe if Lila is from another time, it was the past and she was said holder, she was stripped of her Miraculous and decided to come to present day to try and get her position back because that is a LOT of power just taken from her. Starting out she even tried to play hero and be "the only hero Paris needs" which fuels the idea for me that she desires that position of power and the adoring fanbase. She even started flirting with Adrien, seemingly more forwardly when she found out he had a crush on Ladybug.
Definitely a bit of circumstantial evidence to get here, but I think it's a super fascinating theory that she had a tie to the Miraculous that maybe she lost through her questionable morality and reasons for wanting to be involved, maybe an abuse of the power she got and now she thinks she can either wish her way back into that love and adoration, or she has decided if she can't have the golden hero status, nobody can.

I have a theory when it comes to the wish wiping out the world, Nathalie's death was recent so not much had to change, where as with Emilie if he made that wish it would stop her from getting sick by either fixing the peacock or having her refuse to use it which in turn would alter the past and there for wipe out the timeline

Apparently most of you cannot seem to comprehend villains that do not have sympathetic motives and backgrounds. Some of fantasy's best villains work so well because they are like dark forces personified. Barlow from Salem's Lot (1979), Gul'Dan and Queen Azshara from Warcraft, many Lovecraftian cultists, etc. I could go on. I don't know what her wish was, but I hope she stays scary or gets even scarier because it raises the stakes and gives the audience a reason to care. Plus, making her pure nightmare fuel distinguishes her; trying to make her more palatable to a tame audience would make her forgettable, just another in a long list of tragedies we have seen time and time again. A horror-fantasy villain that hangs like a black cloud over all the world is way more memorable than some lonely orphan crying for her mommy.

For Context: Null is the Kwami of Nothingness who was originally going to work with Gabriel as their goal is to bring the world back to nothingness. Which might explain why the timelines were being wiped out.
As to the reason why Lila would make a wish like that. Well, I like to think she might've been forced to since wasn't she visited by a mysterious force at the end of the last season?
The only thing that makes her a villain is herself being a pathological liar because she’s very deceptive all the time and no one can notice it. Just like we all didn’t know her name was a fake as well as her disguise. We all fell for it for 9 years.
But as we saw her first failed attempt in London special, she went psycho. Like Chronobug said, she is clever but not clever enough. Because when something destroys the future timeline or alters it, Bunnyx will always be on the alert to warn Ladybug and save the timeline from the butterfly effect happening, which they did.
Ladybug always relies on her teammates, Lila doesn’t rely on anyone.
But as we saw how psycho she went with her first failed attempt as the butterfly holder, she’s definitely gonna end up exactly like Gabriel because she has no idea how hard it is to defeat Ladybug and Cat Noir. When that happens, she’ll lose her grip on reality. Even as far as losing her mind.

I think she doesn't even know it either. And maybe later the writers will come up with a motivation...hastily written on a napkin.
Hard to tell since she's a horribly inconsistent character and a villain sue; At first originally Lila was to be Chloe's replacement as the new school bully, just that...but then Asstruc sabotaged that, and then Lila disappeared in season 4 when they realized she was too much like the flanderized Chloe, and then they reimagined the character into something totally different by changing her hair and turning her into a "mastermind". Just like when her hatred for Ladybug was replaced by making her hate Marinette, even though "Lila" never interacted with the baker girl until "Chameleon".
It's not intriguing, it's frustrating. I bet later they're going to reveal that she's Marinette's sister/cousin.

She's intelligent, manipulative and cunning, far more than what Chloe ever was and from this special it's clear she is more sophisticated than Gabe, she is likely to be a much better villain.
And her hatred for Ladybug has not disappeared, I have not seen that to be the case at all. She probably hates ladybug just as much as Marinette. And the first time Lila interacts with Marinette was in Volpina, S1 Ep26 I thought?

1- Gorizilla: the perfume commercial shows Adrien with a feather on top of him, and this feather is identical to the ones from the Peacock Miraculous.
2- Origins: Adrien asks why he can't go to school like anyone else, but Gabriel replies that "he's not like anyone else".
These are very subtle hints, but you can notice them by rewatching the episodes.

The paint of Emily is based on a famous painting of a woman who couldn't have kids, Adele Bloch-Bauer.
The fact that the show set up really early that 2 miraculous were lost, and that Adrien mother got sick, and this Miraculous was never used, as early as the end of season 1. This isn't a coincidence, this was a set up, and a neat one. I already thought about how his mom had used the Miraculous to either save or have Adrien.
As soon as Felix joins the show, you know something is weird, it's impossible for cousins to be identical like that, and the way that the rings and Felix relationship to those were set up wasn't normal.
When Mayura is introduced you can immediately see Gabriel saying that he never wanted that price to be paid again, meaning that Emily used the Miraculous, but for what? Of course it's for Adrien, it's the only thing that would make sense.
The more Mayura is explored the more obvious it gets, sentimonsters are described as perfect, and Adrien has ALWAYS been described as perfect by everyone in the show.
There is a whole episode where Mayura makes a humanoid Ladybug Sentimonster and Ladybug and Adrien say she is perfect and that there is nothing monstruous or evil about her.
Notice that everything I'm describing here is at season 3. And it all fits perfectly.
Everything after that is just to make more and more obvious.
You know, I have a very strong feeling that Lila might be somebody from the reverse universe......maybe even somebody related to the Supreme. Like the Supreme, she wants everythings to be about her. Her wish destroys the entire timeline and reality of the MAIN universe but nothing says that it couldn't have spared the other universes. After all, it does feel quite suspicious for Miraculous to suddenly release a special about an alternate universe of all things when none of that was referenced beforehand.
I think it would be in character for Lila to want to rule the whole world. I think an interesting twist would be her being such a control freak that she literally wants to rewrite the entire timeline from scratch and that's why it messes up every other timeline. They could even make up a time limit by saying they only have a year to stop her before every change is made permanent or something.

The theory is basically Lila‘s mom had something to do with the Miraculous either she was a superhero using the Miraculous or she was the guardian or something, and that some point she died in battle or just vanished without trace which caused Lila to hate everything to do with the miraculous because in her eyes, the miraculous kill her mom or the miraculous took her mom from her or something like that so she became a villain in hopes of getting ladybug and cat noir miraculous to make a wish to bring her mom back or get rid of all the miraculous

And for some reason Marinette has to give up being guardian early, forgetting her kid, the kid somehow goes back in time which would tots work for her wanting to get rid of the miraculous.

I think there’s a strong possibility of her being a child of neglect. And the idea of it being because of a superhero is a fascinating concept. Maybe her mom was too focused on saving the world and didn’t prioritize her daughter over the world. Maybe that’s why she’s always been resentful of Ladybug
Finally a special that bring more to the plot than just side characters that show only in the final and really contribute to the story of series, being a link between seasons. I really like they show Lila as clever intelligent character, who first thing was made herself a time travel akuma, something what Gabriel never done in the Ladybug. Her change in apperance is understand, knowing that she's on the run now. Fight scenes were really good, talk with Kagami and Nathalie.
But how I really want to made rant on this one too... to be honest I can accept that it's just a young kid show, something I should treat as something with sense of My Littlle Pony or propably even less, and that the contuinity and what characters learn or how their story goes dosen't matter, and logic there is pointless. Warn there because are spoilers.
First off, she let Kagami just go with her mother, knowing she's ally of the terrorist? Yea I know S5 finale, but it's still look like that only villain who pay somehow was Chloe. Not even talk with her, not threat "do something similar and you will be ended"? Then next go, akuma steal her Miracolous... does really she not do any preparations like, just ask Kwamis to be on guard? Basically Plagg could stop this from the beggining but whatever, let's go. Gabriel do his wish and I see Gimmie see nothing wrong with akumatised Lila being near, because why Kwami of reality should care about akuma who get sudden nearby. And then Marinette find a time to speak with Nathalie and destroy all things relate to him, but not time to search there for damn Butterfly Miracolous? Not back to civil and ask Tikki, Plagg or maybe other Kwamis to help search for Butterfly? She basically let Lila steal it (Ofc other question is how Lila get Butterfly. Only option is she somehow get by miracle when Wish was made, becasuse I can't see how she get down there to get Miracolous). Bunnyx burrow? Can't they look if someone get near or inside mansion, to just look who's Hawky? I knew it will end quick Lila reign, but damn, for some reason good guys don't do reasonable things. Or when Mari finally get notebook, can't they search in burrow whose one is this? And really, if the akuma object not need to be on person, just like what Nathalie show, then why Gabe as Hawky not use this more often? Why not Nathalie suggest something similar to him, really teenage Villain Sue do all this only on herself? Why Mari bring back her notebook, not read it first and then try to learn whos hawky, what she know and if she can't do any of that against her?
Still anyway propably best special, because it was really only one that contribute anything to the story. Still I think it would be better with Lila just as before, side villain, with propably a Tomoe somehow obtain Butterfly (with her technology in his lair have much more sense), with Lila at her side as accompliance who ofc want to backstab her. After S3 they made her fly off for nearly one and half season, and then sudden, thx to plot powers, they made her a "real threat". IDK if I would not prefer to watch than usual hawky of the week just watch LB and CN fight those aliens, evil queens and whatever Bunnyx show in Time Tagger.
Building on the Lila is from a different time theory, I think Lila is from an alternate timeline, similar to Shadybug. Instead of trying to get back to her original universe, maybe she wants to the miraculous in order to completely reshape the universe the way she wants it. This theory would explain why Lila has all those fake identities, because he simply doesn't exist in this universe. Maybe that's why she's also had it out for Marinette since day 1 lol. Marinette just really sucks in her other universe. Heck, maybe she's even from that universe. I mean Marinette didn't seem particularly friendly there and there's an evil ladybug, plus the miraculous can't be used to make a wish in that one so it makes sense that she'd be seeking out these ones. It'd also explain why she could've known known about the miraculous from day one.

Did wanna say, Sass himself says that any wish no matter how small wipes time back to front, front to back, and gives it a rework. And that wishes don't always change exclusively what the wisher asks for. An opposing wish is also made (exchange life for death, red for green, etc) and any number of other small details can also be changed if necessary. If Lyla wished for a penny to appear into existence on her next birthday, the universe would still be remade just to accommodate that one change. Likely because time itself has to be altered to add that event. I find it funny that everyone always misses what literally every single Kwami in the series has repeated over and over. If you want to add a red line of text (The change) to a book written in blue (the Universe), you have to write the entire book in red, and it's impossible to know if you'll make every stroke precisely the same.
Lila desperately needs a backstory and a motive. Her lack of either of those things is what makes her such a bland and uninteresting character. How am I supposed to care what she does if I don’t ever find out why she does it?
Well to be honest I don't mind if she just wanted to be a god, or world ruler but good backstory of how she get her powerbase and how she get enough clever to not be caught by Tsurugi or Gabriel too.

I want a petty backstory to show how dangerous she is.
When making a wish with Gimme, there is always a cost needed to be payed to ensure a universal balance. Previously, in episodes like Ephemeral where Gabriel made a wish before Sass used his power to return to the time before Adrien revealed his identity to Ladybug, he didn't care about the cost. He was willing to let anyone switch places with Emilie to maintain that universal balance, which is why the bright light engulfs everything when the wish is made. The universe is being re-written. As for Lila, I genuinely think she wished the just destroy the world. Period. Like flat line destroyed. She just shows so much hatred and has become one of the main embodiments of a villain throughout the series from day one. The love she showed was all lies and so we haven't seen any true love or affection shown from her towards anything, unlike Gabriel where we learned about his wife. Then again, we learnt about Gabriel and his wife in season 2 so season 6 may (and hopefully will) unpack more to Lila's character. As for the cost of the wish I proposed she could have made, it would need a new world to be created still to balance it out. How would that world be like? No clue. Her character really leaves us puzzled. Hopefully though, we will learn soon.
Lila, from what we’ve seen, wants nothing more than to be loved by everyone around. That’s why she lies about who she is and what she does in her free time. She ultimately hates how boring and ordinary she truly is, so she makes things up yo make herself seem more interesting. And that’s why she hates Marinette so much, as Marinette has a basic background and personality and yet is beloved by everyone and even captures the attention of famous people.
As such, I theorize that Lila wished for all of her lies to be true. As a consequence, her real life was erased, as was the world around her. The lies became the truth, and the truth became nothing more than lies. Only Lila would remember the original reality. That’s why the Burrow began disappearing, as literally everything previously was erased. The universe was restructuring itself completely around the Wish.
I think that Lila is actually a foster kid. Maybe that’s why she has different mothers? I really don’t see how Lila can juggle multiple home-lives otherwise, and I hope the show doesn’t pretend that it’s a realistic possibility. Maybe being a foster makes Lila feel unwanted, as she always gets returned at the end of the day?
At least, I hope that’s where Lila’s character motive is going. Really don’t want to see her be some immortal or time traveler like many people are theorizing. That would just seem a bit too unrealistic to me, as there’s legit been no foreshadowing for it at all.

I mean, if you think about it, it has to be a wish that not only erases timelines from the sounds of your tone, but can do so regardless of the conditions applied to the past.

I think you're overthinking where "Lila" is concerned. I see her as more of a sociopathic opportunist. Her knowledge of the Miraculous, that's just all the information that she had Natalie steal from Gabriel in Revelation. Yes, she's clever and devious, or else her multiple identity schemes wouldn't work, but she's still reasonably fallible. Her actions in Oni-Chan are a good example. At the very least, your theory about her past makes sense combined with my she's really an adult theory.

Oh my dog, it just hit me. Lila is Marinette's KID from another future!! Specifically, a future in which she didn't get with Adrien and was still the Guardian! Likely due to the whole Secret identity thing taken to it's logical extreme, Marinette would have lived her life protecting the Miraculous, but likely due to Nino and Aliya trying to "get Marinette out of her shell", they'd have gotten her to a party either after high school, or during College, and well drunken shenanigans ensued. So then Mari would fall preggers, and being Mari wouldn't terminate and simply strive to do everything herself, since that's just how she is. And in typical Mari fashion, to a point and from outside she might be doing "ok", but for Lila, "ok" was never gunna be good enough. And since Mari would basically be "too busy for relationships", that would inadvertently include Lila to a point, mirroring Gabe after he lost his wife. Throw in Lila not being given enough attention and she'd likely be poking around until she found the book and the Kwami. Now depending on if Gabe was defeated in this timeline or not, leaning towards not due to identities, Lila may have made a successful bargain that got her into the past, specifically when she knew her mother hadn't become the guardian yet. And thus, this whole time was a slow burn to torture her mother, usurp her dreams with Adrien, who she only ever knew as someone that had her mother's attention even when she had no time for anyone else due to her various activities, (Perhaps including being Ladybug), and when Hawkmoth finally took the L, Lila knew enough to step in and take Nuroo. So yeah, that's where my head is at. And heck, Gabe might have taken the L in Lila's future, so she might have discovered Nuroo herself, and the way back to the past was using Nuroo like Gabe did, making an Akuma and then getting it used on herself by detransforming and getting real mad. If this is where that is going, and her wish is to be the "Main Character" while replacing Marinette, that would change the entire universal dynamic of Miraculous, likely costing say...all the Miraculous' power? Just saying, being the new protag and taking someone else's place outright DOES sound in cosmological sense kinda huge. But that's just my tinfoil hat idea, I could be way off. Anyone else got ideas?
If i’m correct I don’t think the wish erased the past. bunnix even said that they could go back in time but not forward since the wish only really affected the future. I could be wrong but I don’t think her wish was past altering.

I think Lilia'a wish might be strongly related to gabriel's past. Gabriel seemed to ba apart of a rebel group, which lila's parents might have been a part of. Maybe something bad happened to them which lead lila down a road of vengance? It seems like her wish is not trying to "fix" something but rather get vengence.

At this moment I still don't know Lila/Cerise's goal and why she wanted both Ladybug & Cat Noir's Miraculous but I am definately right that she will become the next Hawkmoth now that Gabriel Agrest is gone forever.
I can see like some wish possibility would be she wishes she could possibly take the place of Marinette mainly because we can see her having multiple identities constantly moving around so she would maybe want some stability if she could take on Marinettes place where she has loving parents and friends and possibly dating Adrian, but also if she did wish for that it would possibly wipe out the timeline if it does follow Marinette though the only flaw could be how would it wipe out the past? I think you might actually be onto something with this theory. At first glance, it might seem like Lila’s wish would be for something like ultimate power or adoration from everybody, but when you look deeper, it has to be something much much bigger than that in order for every timeline to be erased from existence. Perhaps, the ultimate goal or her wish was so she could achieve her goal of gaining some ultimate power or being adored by everyone, but the wish itself maybe was to remove any obstacles or a major obstacle that’s stood in her way. What’s always stood in her way? Ladybug, the miraculous superheroes! I think it would make sense that her wish would be for something like erasing all miraculouses from history because without the miraculouses, there would be no obstacles standing in her way or being adored by everyone. There would be no superheroes to steal away her attention. Ladybug is obviously the center of her hatred as the hero who gets the most attention, but I think her hatred could potentially extend to all miraculous users or heroes themselves considering that she has pictures of some of the different heroes besides Ladybug on her plotting board in her secret lair. However, there’s one major question that would arise with that theory. What would she sacrifice in order to make this happen? What could she possible have to sacrifice that would hold the same value as all the miraculouses in order to create a balance in the universe? That leads me to believe that the wish has to be even more specific than just erasing all the miraculouses. I think her wish might’ve been to specifically erase the ladybug miraculous from existence or to wish away the existence of all the ladybug users in history. What could she sacrifice for that? All the other miraculouses. Maybe in her eyes, it would be like killing two birds with one stone because not only would she be removing the obstacle of the Ladybug miraculous, but there would never be any other miraculouses to stop her or steal away her attention ever again. I theorize that Lila’s backstory will likely relate to her being an orphan and that’s why she decides to create so many identities in order for her to get all this attention she craves because perhaps in her eyes, as a little girl she was unwanted, so she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never feels that way again, even if it means creating this webs of lies and having multiple identities in order to make herself seem as desirable to as many people as possible. When Ladybug becomes this overnight sensation and a hero of Paris to everybody, maybe Lila stops getting the attention she feels she deserves because everybody starts admiring and paying attention to Ladybug. That’s when Lila decides to create her “Lila Rossi” identity so she can suddenly show up as this “new girl” who knows Ladybug as well as all these other famous idols. Perhaps this was her way of trying to sway all the attention back on herself by latching onto Ladybug’s fame by making up these lies about knowing her and being her best friend. That’s when Ladybug shows up and exposes her and her lies. Eventually, Marinette does the same and Lila starts her feud with her. After finding out that Marinette is Ladybug, perhaps Lila was originally gonna wish for Marinette to be erased from the timeline but ultimately decides that removing the obstacle of the Ladybug miraculous and the potential for all future Ladybug users would be even better. Maybe her wish really was to erase Marinette/Ladybug from existence, but she would still need to sacrifice something and maybe what she sacrifices is the Ladybug miraculous. Sacrificing the Ladybug miraculous would make sense with erasing all the timelines because without the miraculous of creation, there can literally be no timelines in the past or the future. I realize I ended up just discussing multiple theories, but I think you’re definitely onto something with the idea of the wish relating to the erasure of the miraculouses in some way, whether the wish was to directly erase the miraculouses or the price of the wish was the miraculouses themselves. Ultimately, I don’t think Lila would see the erasure of the miraculouses as a big loss because it would just mean that’s there’s less competition standing in the way of her attention or less means of exposing her lies. If they decide to go the time travel route and have Lila originally coming from a different timeline, I think it would make sense for her to have encountered and developed a hatred towards another Ladybug user in her original timeline, which would make the impact of her wish to erase the Ladbug miraculous even greater because not only would she be erasing our present day Ladbug, but also potentially another Ladybug from her own timeline. Maybe in her eyes, erasing the obstacles of Ladybug and the ladybug miraculous would make her life better, but doing so would quite literally wipe out the entire universe and every timeline in existence. Honestly, at this point I’m really curious for season 6 and hopefully getting to explore Lila’s motivations and background more. I really wanna know what this girl wants besides just defeating Ladybug and Cat Noir. Great theory!
several people have theorized that Lila's mother is Nadia and that she's Manon and from the way you were talking it really sounds like she is absent mother bad family situation. I don't know but it sounds like it.

I have a theory that Lila is Manon. Both of them look similar and Manon’s mother is the news lady (forgot her name) but her mother is very busy and never has time for Manon. Manon either 1: grew up, found a way to time travel back to her past to make her mother give her more attention or 2:travel back in time to get the miraculous (ladybug and black cat) to make a wish (whatever it is). Proof that Lila is Manon or related to Manon:
1.In the earlier seasons (s1-s3) Manon was always shown on screen. She also appeared in the first episode of season 1 (character introduction doesn’t happen for no reason, there must be a significance to Manon’s character)
2.Manon’s outfit has 3 different flowers (lila,cerise, smth else sorry I forgot), these flower names are the same names as Lila’s different alter egos.
3.In the puppeteer, Manon is akumatised and her wish is to control the puppets. This is very similar to the way Lila controls people with her lies.
4. Chris the time traveler villain guy (sorry I forgot his actual name) says that a special someone is the love of his life. This special someone could be Lila. (Proof as Lila gives little Chris a nose boop, why would she do that unless they were lovers in the future?)
5.Manon and Lila’s color palette are very similar, and their features look similar too. The Lila shown in London special when she becomes the new hawk moth shows how she really looks without all the wigs, and it looks exactly as if you picture Manon grown up.
Conclusion: either I’m crazy or I’m onto something lol

My guess is that she wants ladybug to never ever exist in the first place, like no Kami’s ever. Maybe her relatives and parents go deleted by the wish and she wants to undo it that way
I have a bit of a more disappointing solution but what if the timeline disappearing had nothing to do with Lila's wish being anything specific? We've never seen Bunnix go into the den when a wish is being made so maybe this is what happens to the den when the wish is made? The wish rewrites the entire world so maybe the den would have been rewritten alongside it? Once the last time portal closed, a new den would be made. This makes sense as the burrow would need to change in order to fit in with the new timeline. Or maybe it just changes so you can't undue the wish.
If Lila was mis placed in time, it could be fun for her mum to be future Alex. Alex busy doing time stuff is still present but never really there, never fully noticing her kid is gone cause she still turns up at appointed times.

My theory is that she's the daughter of the prince that was originally gonna marry Adrian's mother that was put in foster care which explains her multiple identities and three different moms or she's a secret agent hired by Adrian's grandfather to ruin Adrian and everyone in Adrian's life as revenge for his daughters betrayal of the royal family
Can we adress how in the end we ended knowing nothing about Adrian mother and her family? Ressurecting her would be perfect for a new plot, since her family somehow is connected with magic, but the show just skip it, and now we have to just ignore that information
I think the problem with the theory is the balancing factor the wish had.

I'm gonna throw in a random one, she wishes she could was ladybug. From what we seen, past and future ladybug is adored. And if she wants to truly be adored what better way then being the most adored hero. One of, if not the best ladybug that's ever been in Tikki's eyes.
Maybe she is an orphan, and having multiple parents could be explained by the fact that they are each have fostered her for a while
Erasing the miraculous would be a huge change in the timeline. The miraculous of Freedom from the New York special was a big part of American history. We don't know how many are out there or which ones had curved history to make the world as it is. Doing this could indirectly erase the other superheroes too!
