I feel like Trust is the theme this season. Trust caused Adrigami to break up. Trust Caused Lukanette to end. Trust caused problems for Alya and Nino. Trust is causing Ladybug and Cat Noir dynamic to deteriorate. And i feel like thats why they made it a point in lies that Ladybug and Cat Noir have trust. So they can show how that trust is deteriorating and to also show how its going to be built back up.
Not to mention that trust between Chloe and Zoe is going to go south when she finds out the truth

I also think that if Adrien revealed to Nino his identity and him and Alya told each other about Adrien and Marinette because 'no secrets', it would make looking at the love square quite interesting

It's definitely important that he knows Alya and Nino's identities and that they know each other's. Pushes forward his mindframe that ladybug doesn't trust him and will eventually drop him.
It is that is why the creates are doing this.
Except he never does that as of the season 5 finale.
If Adrien ever gets akumatized, I hope it is in his civillian form and not his hero form. I think it would be more interesting that way, and honestly we have never seen Adrien get unbelievebly angry, mash things, yell/scream, so I'm honestly looking forward for that. Maybe the next time he gets angry, it's probably because he will find out that Alya knows Ladybug's identity(Possibly, Alya could accidentally tell Adrien, But that's unlikely) And I really hope that he doesn't break out of his akumatization, like it was cool for Alya, Nino, and Chloe to do it, but Adrien should definetely be one of the characters that don't.

To some degree I agree. But also I do see possibility for Chat to be akumatized as a hero (return of Chat Blanc) and then I want him to actually snap out of akumatization to be the only possibility. Heroes should just try everythink they can, but Chat Blanc should be to powerfull for all of them, including Ladybug, leaving him being talked out of akumatization as a only solution.
I mean Gabriel’s development was already shafted but he wouldn’t akumatize Adrien if he didn’t know he was cat noir.

I think this episode kind of parallels how Nino and Alya have a strong relationship with keeping no secrets between each other and have open communication compared to Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Chat Noir where they have a lot of secrets between each other and don't have open communication considering what's going on in season 4. And while I get that the whole Nino thing is jealous and all that but we have to remember that there are 2 episodes between Sentibubbler and Rocktear, we don't know that the seeds of doubt were being planted in the first place. I also love how Adrien/Chat Noir is having doubts about his relationship with Ladybug.
Nino having a detective scene was interesting. And same with the scene where he talks to Adrien. It's like the bubbles are a replacement for smoke. Kid friendly.

For the sequel thing. Usually if studios are confident that the show will do good they do like a 3 movie contract with the producer or something. And they start making the second movie even before the first one is even out!

This was a great episode with some scary implications. It had a lot of shocking scenes. I was also disappointed with Nino for revealing himself and Alya like that. On the other hand, I'm happy that Miraculous is more plot-centered now, so I hope all this will lead to something in the future.

Honestly I’m peeved. Nino just revealed his AND his girlfriend’s secret identities to who he thinks is a civilian. Best friend or not, it isn’t up to him to reveal his identity...let alone someone else’s. Not to mention he never brings it up to Alya OR LB. The consequences don’t even cross his mind. So I feel almost harsh to say this, but Nino is an idiot. 🤦♀️
And if Ladybug finds out what he did. He probably won’t hold a miraculous again.

She's the responsible for giving the Miraculous. and It was her decision to let both of them know each other. So, why she's dodging the responsibility now?
Maybe she wanted to make sure her decision with Alya properly before she could say anything?

This review was hilarious hahah it was a pretty good episode! The fact that Adrien found out about Alya and Nino is setting us up for some angst and i’m all here for it

it's kinda awkward watching this ep when your name is similar to alya-
also, is it just me that's pretty upset with nino outing carapace's and rena's secret identities, and alya just straight up admitting that she was still rena rouge to nino, who we all know as a terrible secret keeper? i mean yeah, they were under lots of stress, but what happened to alya's big brain in sentibubbler? why is she suddenly taking selfies of her costume (lowkey despise the new designs and name, but that can't be saved ig), suggesting to post them, and going against ladybug's instructions? ofc no character is perfect and screws up sometimes, but she was so out of character. despite many people thinking "oh they have such an unbreakable bond of love!!", they're in huge danger. even if nino somehow miraculously keeps the secret, it doesn't stop my anxiety from going 📈📈📈
i guess this episode was alright, even tho my favourite character was a slight disappointment this time. kinda confused about what rena rouge's current job is, but i enjoyed seeing adrien beginning to feel sad (ideas for future eps!), the whole nino-sherlock-holmes scenes, and there goes the second time i cried from watching miraculous lol. may i also add that the sequel of the anime miraculous feels like something straight from a weird sin 18+ wattpad fanfic tho? seriously, nino's gonna have to deal with a lot of disturbing fanart of his girlfriend and chat noir- 💀

By how much she's painted as "the smart and responsible one", make a lot more sense to, at least, give him the same version they gave to Hawkmoth.

I wanted to ask everyone here if they noticed with each passing season, Adrien's still frame in his transformation is getting less and less green. It was vibrantly green in the first season, and now there's more black than green.
It would make sense for Ladybug to know who the temporary users are as she needs to take their Miraculous' back and she can't just hand them out to random strangers just to preserve their identities. It also makes sense for any permanent members of the team to keep theirs hidden so they can't be used against each other if they get akumatized or captured or have the accidental slip of the tongue and cause Hawk Moth to go after their families. What doesn't make sense is for Ladybug to have all the control over the entire situation, not inform Chat of what the ever loving hell is going on and then treating him like utter garbage by sidelining him whilst prancing around Paris handing Miraculous out like candy.
I am so happy that Alya and Nino are not keeping secrets. Marinette can learn form those two, they make their love life and their super hero life work.
I think Nino was right to tell Adrien since it's about time he got into the loop that's he's been locked out of but now it's turned his emotions into a bigger time bomb then it was before and Plagg isn't helping. He needs to say to Ladybug you ether give me the same treatment or I quit or say to Plagg once again you ether tell me what Ladybug is hiding from me or I'm done.
I'm happy on what Alya's final decision was. Trust and Lies don't mix well it will eat you up inside. It feels very mature of Alya. It says a lot about how Ladybug treats Chat Noir... She really takes him for granted and expects him to just be her slave. Revealing their identities to each other does not automatically mean Shadowmoth would know this or the public. It just doesn't balance out anymore. If she really does consider him her "equal" partner.
yet both alya and nino are super heros, so they should know that there is going to be secrets... everyone has secrets for god' sake. Alya telling Nino proved right the mistrust that Marinette had about alya a literal episode early... alya chose nino over the whole paris
which means that she trusted a person her secret identity to alya, who Marinette didn't trust 100% but no chat who trust her to the point of self-sacrifices...

even furthermore, marinette concluded in that episode that adrian discovered her secret identity, which lead to whole paris to learn it. marinette should think that chat got akumatized because he learned her secret identity because of a 3° party! chat blanc just push even harder that Marinette should have trusted chat before alya! which again marinette didn't trust at all!

And this conclusion is the whole reason why I say that's the "plot contrivance episode":
- That conclusion the only contribution of the episode to the rest of the show.
- Although the distress that led to Chat Blanc was caused by Hawkmoth's identity. The Akuma didn't say anything about it.
- The episode goes out of his way to make it look like it happened because they got together.
- In fact, almost everything Chat Blanc said about his supposed heart break was made up.
- Bunyx could very easily lookup the moment Adrien found out, and go to Ladybug BEFORE she sniffs his bed sheets.
- I absolutely hate the logic gymnastics she does to reach her conclusion. And avoid considering Adrien and Chat as the same person.

sentibubble literally started with Marinette having a nightmare where alya betrayed her! this mean marinette doesn't even trusted alya to begin with, yet she told her she was LB before chat.
and in rocketer, marinettes' doubts about alya where proved right! when alya betrayed her telling nino that she is rena! she chose nino over whole Paris! for god' sake, in literally the previous episode hawkmock treated alya's whole family because she was rena! yet alya chose nino over her own family! the show has literally established that alya would betrayed marinette over nino! and I'm 100% sure this would never be mentioned/ have consequences on the show!
I will never forgive Marinette for telling Alya, the one with an exposed secret identity, her identity, and not the only other person who could possibly relate to her, her equal Chat Noir!
The risks are way higher with Alya knowing and if Shadowmoth wasn’t such an idiot then she would have been screwed over by that decision. I can’t wait for Adrien to realise how much better he deserves than her, she really isn’t worthy of her leadership role and it’s clear she just treats him as another tool that she can use to win battles and not the person with feelings and needs that he is, he should never know less than Alya and I’m furious that he does
I'm glad someone is saying this. Everyone is defending her decision and saying she shouldn't tell cat noir because of cat blanc. But just because she can't tell him her identity doesn't mean she can't at least tell him of how hard it is to be a guardian and superhero which he can relate to but it seems no one understands. She also replaced cat noir of being second in command with alya and everyone says he's not being replaced but it's clear he is. Thank goodness someone noticed I'm not the only one

Loved it.
First, with the boys. It seems that the girls are favored over the boys and have all the good qualities. The boys have all of the bad ones. I still love their characters, but the boys do not deserve to be treated dirty.
Loved Nino’s reveal.
Cannot believe he resorted to murder. I kind of can because look at all the female centric revenge movies at the remote thought that they are being cheated on. Not favoring one gender or the other, but that is what happened with nino.
Adrien needs to stop being dumped on.
At least Adrien has one person who can trust him now. I actually wanted forever for both of them at the same tome to reveal their identities so it releases some of the weight off both of then.
Nino’s reveal was not to a random person, but his best friend. Same with marionette with Alya. Different pressures, same result.
Nino made some mistakes, but it does not make him a bad person. And when he resisted shadow moth, heck yeah. So epic.
Adrien talk to someone, please.
Also, you are the first person to talk about the film noir. I am still surprised that even Nino did not make a Spielberg reference when it came to the Dinos. He mentioned him by name before.

@@IGon23 you can be inspiring to girls while showing male superheroes as well. I mean look at the MCU, both the male and females are inspiring to both genders and they do not have to ruin the guys to do it.

I can see how Pepper could have done more and I have not seen the Captain Carter show so I can’t speak on that.
But Mrs. marvel was good and the women and black panther had good character development and purposes throughout their films.
If you mean the actresses themselves, I can see where you are getting at. Women in Hollywood are not always treated well, but as for their characters, I thought they were good and well written.

I honestly think this is my favorite episode so far. Marinette felt like a side character in this episode and although I really like her, it was so much needed to have a whole episode dedicated to Nino, Alya and Adrien. Also the comedy in this was just pure gold. We usually just get to see Marinette and Adrien getting into awkward situations because someone mentions ladybug or cat noir, but this time nino told adrien he basically hates cat noir, I loved that irony. It was a very good episode for Adrien and Ninos friendship and of course ninos and alyas relationship too. This was so much needed to be solved out
9:45 I don't think Lila had an actual crush on Adrien or if she did, she got over him after he lectured her in Chameleon and is now trying to use him to be the most popular girl in Paris.
To be honest, telling Nino she isn't rena rouge anymore isn't lying because she now is rena furtive.
i like that this season is more serious and more about normal people issues and dramas rather than childish comedy and funny action

Miraculous was first supposed to be in that art style but was changed to 3d due to a problem with ladybugs spots being too hard to animate
Those children who watch this show....I keep letting tears roll down my face with this.
It's actually very plausible that a sequel to the ladybug movie in universe was made so quickly if we assume that both of them were developed simultaneously. Considering it being about real superheroes it's safe to say it would be a hit.
The lack of communication between LB & CN is quickly becoming unsustainable. She NEEDS to find out Chat’s identity. The reveal is coming quickly and it’s making my head dizzy.
As much as I want to agree with what Plagg says, I can’t. Marinette didn’t decide to give them both their miraculous at the same time when she was the guardian. She decided that back in Season 2, where Fu was still the guardian of the miraculous.
It actually really upsets me that Alya told Nino. It’s making the whole secret identity thing pointless.
What I really want is for there to be lasting consequences for Alya actions! Like Marinette not trusting her anymore, losing her miraculous or somebody getting hurt!
But I have the horrible feeling that this is being set as a, “it’s okay to tell people your identity!” Thing, so as to get ladybug and chat noir to reveal themselves and this is so infuriating😩😡
Throughout the whole series we have constantly been told that revealing your identity is a bad thing and horrible things will happen if you do!
So there must be consequences for Alya and Nino!
The secret identity becomes an issue actually if THE ENEMY knows. A thing that Chloé made possible because of her arrogance and greed, that cannot be characteristics for a hero. If you can trust a colleague so much about his/her sense of secret and what the content of the secret is, you can be sure this friend would not reveal it in a moment of rage nor use it against you

@@Thisisnottheanimeurlooking4 I do not like lying like this, I can say they are trustful towards each other about this. And surely Hawk Moth did not hear them. It is different from when Chloé pulled the Comb out the first time. Revealing inside the team can be ok, to anyone passes IS NOT because they do not know who Hawk Moth is nor whoever feels this role as hero so heavy to keep the secrecy
I do think Nino and Alya will face consequences in the future. Not for revealing their secrets. But rather for keeping it a secret that they've revealed their secrets
The whole theme for the season seems to be secrets and relationships never go together. (HM literally says this line just in the end of the episode) This lesson seems to be the whole point of first 3 episodes of the season. Rose also explicitly states sharing secrets with your loved ones bring them closer in Guilt Trip. Which is essentially proven by the Alyanette reveal.
So the entire theme for season 4 seems to be the opposite what you're saying.

A secret is a secret. As soon as you tell someone else you have already broken a promise, showing that you cannot be trusted to keep secrets.
Marinette trusted Alya to keep that she is still Rena rouge a secret, Alya decided not to keep that secret.
It should also be noted that Marinette had been having issues trusting others, fearing that if tells people her secrets, hawkmoth will find out. It was important to her, for Alya to keep her promise of not telling anyone including Nino.
But I guess Alya need to tell her boyfriend trumps marrientte feelings so…
I feel like I'm not the only one who's glad this was a different akumatization for Nino and not just Bubbler 2.0

While I agree that Mari should be talking to chat more about stuff, but let’s keep in mind the events of Chat Blanc.
Sentibubbler shows that she’s still not over the events of that episode, and bear in mind she doesn’t know the full story of how it happened in the first place. All she knows is that it happened because he learned her identity.
I feel some ppl forget about that particular episode, and I wish it was a little more touched upon
Stalking is just normal in the Miraculous world I guess. Marinette has her stalkerish tendancies and noboby bats an eye. Then Nino does this.
I'm pretty sure that the movie Alya and Neno saw just had a trailer for the sequel to the Ladybug movie play before it becuase it did kinda sound like how a trailer would sound with what we were able to hear of it.

Also Marionette: does not explain a key part of a plan to the ONE PERSON who, is not only around, but also the one person who’s name she and no one else knows (thus showing is probably the most trust worthy and is probably the most likely to mess up the plan accidentally due to lack of knowledge

If Adrien just revealed his identity in the confrontation scene it would of been a great character moment and it could be used to give Nino a reflection to the hidden dynamic of Alya which could then see Nino increasing his efforts to push Adrien and ladybug (can't spell her name) together since Mary loves Adrien to help his busy distract himself from his love of ladybug
I guess it kinda makes sense that she could retheme her suit around Arctic Foxes and winter camo

the thing is...Alya was right, secrets never last forever and if Nino found out a lot later that she was hiding that from him he might've felt like Alya didn't trust him enough and their relationship could've been jeopardized. And Nino can keep a secret as long as he's chill and not super stressed since he never told anyone he was Carapace until he pretty much lost his mind (and it was to his best friend), and all that happened because Alya kept the secret from him for like 2 days, if she had done what she thought was right from the beginning, most of that would've been avoided. But I still like the fact that it made Nino unveil more secrets to Adrien and maybe make Adrien ask more questions...

Out of context but relatable question: Why does everyone in Miraculous go and hide in the sewers? In the upcoming episode Mega Leech, Mylene who gets transform into Polymouse does this in the sewers. Sewer manholes are designed so that it is not open for the public to climb down because out of all places to hide - why the sewers. Imagine if Shadow Moth decides to go down there and track Ladybug. Not really mad, but from memory, this is not TMNT.
Overall, great episode. That scientist lady which her name is - Anne-Jeanne Theoxanne du Bocquale (first E in Theoxanne has an accent) or just Anne-Jeanne as confirmed by Thomas Astruc, that's a brand new character. Wouldn't be too surprise if she does get akumatised in this season and we haven't seen it yet due to Rocketear being Episode 17. The Jurassic Park reference that the stupid Bob Roth suggested... OK. Funny just like some of the other jokes this season. I like Rena Furtive's designs, even the orange & purple one that she showed off. And yeah... the episode did not felt rushed. And the fight scene with Rocketear is not necessarily long which I think that's good. I love how Nino rejects the powers he was given by Shadow Moth just like what Alya did in Gang of Secrets. And yeah... Adrien/Cat Noir is now feeling more confused and probably starting to bottle up his feelings and distance himself because of Ladybug's actions, and the fact that Alya and Nino know each others hero identities which he thought that was breaking the rules about secret identities. I am pretty happy about this episode.

I really love this episode because of Nino, Alya's new blue costume and because Adrien and Cat noir got to have more screen time and I really felt sorry him, Nino and Alya.
Adrien NEEDS to get a better development. He should be the second most important character, but he never can do things on his own without needing help of ladybug. He only has few people who he can trust, but now all this people happens to not trust him back and continues to keep him behind. HE NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

Hey, I have a huge theory and I would like credit if anyone mentions this in their videos. The dinosaur scene seems really random for this episode, like it's almost out of nowhere? A quote especially captivating to me from this episode was "maybe bringing dinosaurs back to life wasn't the best idea"- And what major important thing to the plot are people trying to bring back to life? Emilie. I can't really see the dinosaur thing being completely random, although it does look random when just spectating this episode. Miraculous is full of hints and I really do feel like reviving can come back into the conversation in the finale.

what if marinette finds out that alya did tell nino despite marinette trusting her that she wouldnt tell him. then its kind of the same enlightment and crisis that adrien experienced after learning that nino and alya knew their identities and ladybug was okay with it. so what if marinette gets disappointed and mad about alya not keeping one secret from nino. what if she has a fight with alya and gets closer to chat noir. maybe she will feel betrayed or something and all of a sudden reveal her identity to chat noir. it would be a nice way to shift back the balance in the team (like lady noir is THE duo not lady rouge or whatever the name is) so maybe this would make marinette realise who her true partner is and that she should be closer to adrien/chat noir rather than her bff (cause her bff just chose her bf over marinette)

As for the sewers, doesn't Paris have old catacombs connected to the sewer system? It would be easy to say they were looking for them and go with that.

Yeah but that's different Nino has no reason to suspect Alya knows Ladybug's secret however like Ladybug and Cat Noir they're partners in crime so when Rena rouge is absent from battle he'll know something is going on

Damm this season intense we start off with marinette being guardian and her being lonely and then adds the fact that she reveals her identity to someone which suprised everyone in the community and then she learns some power she had all along? And gets a new suit for no reason and oh wow look alya gets the miraculous permanently shocks everyone in the community and also 2 new unifications and now this like wow this has been a ride of emotions like this might be one of the best seasons so far with how much it’s done already

I know that this is so not the point of the video, but when the video starts talking about the creepy behavior of the male students at 11:40, I found myself thinking about the season 1 Dark Cupid episode. Because there's a moment in that episode where Chat Noir falls under the villian's control, and he and Dark Cupid are going to go after Ladybug together and they do this fist bump and finger wiggle without even looking at each other, and it's SO WEIRD because this is an akumatized villian and a masked hero who do not know each other. At least, Kim does not know who Chat Noir is. Even if they did both know who the other really is in civilian life, I don't think Kim and Adrien really even talk to each other all that much, yet they have this bro handshake down. And my first thought at 11:40 is "Ah, yes, they must have taught all the male students that handshake in the secret Vaguely Troubling Boy Behaviors class at the school." Finally, it makes sense.
