“Ghosts aren’t real 🤓” Yet tiny creatures that live inside magical pieces of jewlery and give their wearer superpowers are…. I don’t think a ghost would be too impossible in this universe, Mari…
Tbf that was just a mall Santa that got akumatized into a Santa monster not the actual Santa. And beside the Kwamis all the supernatural stuff is usually an akumatized human.
When chromobug tells Lila- "You're probably smart enough to not have the miraculous of the butterfly with you.." ..I paused it and thought ABT THE FACT THAT GABRIEL WOULDVE BROUGHT IT😭
@Mightymewing360 she has to wear her miraculous so she can defeat the bad guy.. How is she gonna fight if she doesn't have it, I get where ur coming from but she needs hers w her😭
@KennaL0vesU-r3l Same thing for Gabe like how can he beat ladybug without his miraculous he gonna need it to have a fighting chance against ladybug like he can’t win without being hawkmoth or any moth name villain
@Mightymewing360 Gabriel can akumatize himself and leave the miraculous somewhere safe like how Lila did in this special, so he can have powers without his miraculous, although he won't remember what happens during the akumitization
@Mightymewing360 As for marinette, she cant give herself powers without her miraculous with her, because she needs to be transformed in order to use her lucky charm and other powers. unlike Gabriel who could transform, akumatize an object and then leave his miraculous there and have the powers of the akuma he created!
@@Mightymewing360do you not pay attention to the show, it’s the quantum masking that’s gonna confuse people regardless of how similar their civilian appearance is to their outfit and even then, they were under hoaxers control. They can change their outfit hair nd even eye color but they can’t change their gender as a super hero/villain.
the reason her suit is yellow is so that bunnix can distinguish present Marinette with Marinette from other timelines. Imagine if she got them mixed up and pulled the wrong up back to the borrow and just ruined the entire plan 💀😂
now i'm imaging if she pulls ladybug from origins P1 that knows literally nothing about her powers and forces her to fight one of the toughest enemies (Lila)
that was for the outfit. I thought she was going to made the change intentionally since they can change their outfits if they wish to. But she seemed surprised after turning yellow, and as we had saw a few times in the show, the clothes they are currently wearing does not alter their superhero outfits.
I liked the more darker tone this special took I did laugh when when ladybug said something along the lines of the new hawkmoth was much more cunning and smart. I was like “yeah because the one you’ve been fighting for the past five seasons was a smooth brain” 😂
Well you have the terrible written Villain Sue vs the writers pet Mary Sue so it’s no wonder why they say that main point is both Marianette and Lila are both terribly written characters
People rarely ever talk about this kinda stuff but personally I think they REALLY popped off with the music in this special (and the previous season too honestly), really enhanced the entire movie, big props to whoever composed these tracks
She panicked about the light because she realized Lila had been there the first time as well, even after Lila had found out her identity, she still wanted more info
True and the completely dead and expressionless look she had in her eyes the whole time she walked through those white corridors to talk to Adrien and her destroying the lair it felt like what it was a teenager who had to grow so much in a day because of the things she'd witnessed and the burden she had now.
@@arie735 the fact they address that Bunnix will be in the burrow until the Butterfly is retrieved and Alix is 70….that one stings. Unless there’s a swerve coming and we get an evil villain that doesn’t akumatize people.
at this point I just want chat noir to do anything of importance. Just let my boy be. Also make gorilla take a full custody of him because I don't trust the rest of the adults at all.
i have a feeling, that they gonna make him the main character for an entire sub-arc. right now, he is not doing anything, but he is at the centre of what everyone else was doing around him. when the s5 finale aired, people were angry, that they skipped from gabe dying straight to everyone being happy ever after, without adressing the consequences, BUT now we got an entire special about the immediate fallout. the writing staff did not forget the fallout, they were just saving it for this special, at least marinettes part of it. right now, everyone tries to hide gabes secret identity from adrien, but Cerise KNOWS the secret identity of monarch, and i dont think she will comply with everyones wishes in this regard. she has the ability to debunk ladybugs story whenever she wants. let them cook.
When Alex said "ultimate blunder" when watching the final battle I thought it was a reference to how badly they messed up the season 5 finale. I then realised they would never admit that
@@themegagamer6086 I know there's going to be a crossover but she did travel the multiverse before and she most likely will again. I'm going to look up if Jeremy said that later. If true it doesn't really make sense to me but oh well
@@Wandahoii.i Nah, the writing is hopefully smarter moving forward and so far, Lila pieced it together as a lie... she doesn't believe Gabe is Ladybug... its like karma
I get that the scene of Bug Noir breaking the news to Adrien about his dad was supposed to be sad, but between the goofy Bug Noir outfit and the Shinji meme pose had me cracking up and unable to take it seriously.
Two things. One: I find it funny that Adrien is better at keeping his identity secret than Marinette, as the only two who know are due to forms of time travel. Two: One mystery from the season 5 finale remains. What attacked "Lila" in the epilogue? I'm half expecting them to drop that plot point in season 6.
It's probably to hype her up as the next villain. In season 5 Gabriel became very mad and more evil and abusive than he ever was, so to higher the stakes they needed to show how more crazy and dangerous than him Lila can be
In reference to did tikki know all along this was going to happen, this is hinted at by tikki when Marinette first goes to sleep. Before she goes to sleep, tikki says she'll really need the sleep she's about to get, probably because of all the craziness about to ensue and probably to ensure that she stays asleep so chronobug can fight spectral looter without her waking up. And after chronobug uses the lucky charm to fix everything and marinette goes back to her room and wakes everyone up, plagg says he feels like he's missing something and tikki's reply to him indicates she remembers it all from all aspects. So yes, I think tikki always knew this was going to happen, ever since the origins special and just kept it quiet.
when Alex said they finally kissed it almost felt like she was one of the viewers - that gave me a good chuckle. But in all seriousness I really loved the special unlike Gabe Laila is actually intelligent and when Marinette said to Natali that she is the closest thing that Adrian has to a mom it moved me to tears.
I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. If I want a ship that actually feels well developed and adorable. I either rewatch Lumity moments, Huntlow, Raieda, Phinabella, Canderemy, etc.
@lasseehrenreich5502 Hot take but I think Lumity is overrated like I don’t think is awful or anything but I think people call it perfect when really it isn’t like it’s mostly just for Luz so it’s really one sided and when it’s about Amity it still goes back to bring about Luz also kinda think they are boring just vanilla ice cream with the chocolate syrup if people like it that’s fine but I’m more of a Vegeta x Bulma kinda guy
I wonder if Gabriel dying is something that happens in every universe kind of like with Emilie. Makes me think if Betterfly dies in the reverse universe and the fallout of that- I mean I imagine reverse Adrien would be a lot more volatile and angry if his dad died compared to the reaction of our Adrien.
This special was so emotional. Seeing Bug Noir/Marinette so broken down made me feel so bad for her. While I'm still iffy about the decision to make Chat Noir not part of the final, I do kinda get why Marinette wouldn't tell the truth...She doesn't know either. She want's so badly to be honest, but know's that either way will hurt Adrien. And Adrien's breakdown was sad to see, the voice acting was really good. Do I think the special was a good setup for S6.
Marinette did a lot of bad actions before...and I hated her for those reason! but now! SHE COLLABORATED WITH A TERRORIST! SHE COLLABORATED WITH 3 CRIMINALS! SHE DISOBEYED THE LAW! SHE LIED TO THE WHOLE WORLD! And she lied because of HER selfish toxic LOVE FOR ADRIEN!!! She lied for her personal gain! She's not just protecting Adrien, she's protecting herself ! She knows if Ladybug tell him the truth, Adrien would be furious with ladybug (and if he knows her identity, he would break up with her too) so she just scares to tell the truth! She's a coward liar! spread the word
@animezilla4486 it's like the bunnixes said: either outcome would've led to big consequences, especially for adrien's psyche. whether she lies or tells the truth, she is ultimately choosing how she damages Adrien's mind, and in the case of revealing hawk moth, his entire life. this special juggles the question in marinette's mind really well. it is a HARD choice, and her instinct is to spare adrien the heartache right now bc she's only 15 and doesn't understand how much lying to him will hurt him down the line. people's bias against marinette have kept them from understanding her perspective whatsoever and it's honestly so annoying.
Marinette not believing in ghost honestly astonishes me because she lives in a world where tiny creatures give them access to some insane powers. Two of the most powerful miraculous can summon a wish granting deity. Santa Claus exists. And you're telling me she doesn't believe in ghost?
And it's extra absurd in one specific universe, the one where the miraculous games (yes does exist, don't play them just watch them) are Canon, beacuse in the second game, the heores fought in a cemetery against zombies and ghost, yes I'm not joking
14:30 the first appearence of Bunnyx is her adult version comming from the future fighting an akumatized older Nino's younger brother. So yeah, Hawkmoth will keep existing for many years in the future if they don't overwrite it.
The issue with the Bunnyx disappearing is a matter of paradox. Basically, there is one definitive timeline, but, because time travel is possible, cracks will appear at some point within the Burrow if/when people start to mess with it. That's why the Bunny Miraculous was made, to manage these types of events. Anything seen from within the Burrow is what could have happened without interference, but since the Bunny holder has the duty of protecting time, they are the ones that have to interfere. For example, the 2 older Bunnyx disappearing is what could have happened if young Bunnyx and Ladybug didn't interfere with the timeline.
i think the best way to look at it is: that there is the normal timeline which is what the characters see, and what the burrow sees. and there's the 'super timeline' (crappy name but idk what else to call it) which is the story narrative as we see it and how things occur. so even tho alix is chilling in the burrow, the super-timeline is progressing and when something happens like the stuff in the london special, the super-timeline still flows and is unchanged, since all this stuff with chronobug and lila's/ Cerise's ghost villains is stuff that's meant to happen. while the normal timeline collapse when lila/ Cerise makes her wish, the super-timeline is all chill and sorta holds everything together, preventing this all from being a flaming wreck. simply put: there's the in story timeline, and the plot armour, cannon show events timeline. whenever the characters fiddle with time, it involves changes to the story timeline but in the end its all apart of the plot armour cannon show events timeline
@@Ink_Novabut how does a super timeline even make sense in the first place? Because these events would’ve had to already have taken place for any of these characters like future bunnyx, Timetagger and etc to even exist so time must have already flown from our time to the distant future and so I don’t understand how the Bunnyx are only NOW disappearing considering the fact that Lila never really messed with the timeline and what makes it even more confusing is how chill they are, as if they know what’s going to happen which would never make sense if they don’t exist which means that they never solved this problem in the first place. Another thing to consider is the fact that they vanish from existence in an instant but in Chat Blanc, we see it takes ages for older bunnyx to vanish despite both of them being destroyed by a huge ball of miraculous energy
I think it wasn't the timeline itself I think it was more of the wish we don't know what is lila goals maybe it was to become the supreme allowing her to manipule and define reality thus erasing futures and past. But honestly time travelling is really hard to understand the best thing to do is to not try and understand and watch writers create their own rule of the topic
Not that big of a highbar one sucks and had the scripted against him and the other is playing on rookie baby pussy mode I think Tomoe would’ve been better to be honset
@@ethancox9737 They kinda had to. They originally wrote Hawkmoth to be a cheesy episodic villain, so they kinda had to keep that element all the way through. But people have long since tired of that. By the end of Season 3, I think everyone was kinda sick of how incompetent Gabriel was. Making Lila just as incompetent would just make people tune out
@@Doomzdeh I know, but I think making Lila the new main villain in the first place was kind of silly, especially since she already caused so much trouble while Hawkmoth was still around. Plus, they could have made Gabriel at least a bit smarter while still keeping the cheesy monster of the week aspect.
4:44 yeah Nooroo can barley move, and she snapped him so he was like a doll, that is way more than what Gabriel did.. he silent nooroo a few times but still allows nooroo to speak and doesn't turn him into a doll and nooroo was allowed to move alot more than just one bit of space.. Gabriel was horrible but not that evil..
I really like how they didn’t go the typical “Chat Blanc” route and just let us know the reasoning for why Mari lied (which makes sense to me). From the Ladynoir scene at the end, it seems like Cat Noir does know Ladybug is lying but doesn’t know the specifics. This was a strong episode for Marinette. The fact that she was so empty and in a moral dilemma the entire special was so interesting as you can tell the difference between s1 Mari to her now. I really do think there is a possible villian arc for Mari and an antihero arc for Adrien in the future. Finally, I really like how the special doesn’t make it seem like Mari lying or telling the truth was the right choice, because no matter what she chose, it would lead to good/bad consequences. All that matters, is how she handles it in the future. Overall, really good special (on par with the Reverse one)
ok this one was undoubtedly the best one so far. What stood out the most to me was the CINEMATOGRAPHY. Like holy crap, it was such top tier. Interesting angles, unique composition, just such a stark difference to the usual show. Also liked the dialogue, it felt mature and not dumbed down. The story was really good. I love the dark undertones, very emotional and I teared up a couple of times. Action was great, Marinette was really witty and the villain was super cunning. I love that the good guys won, but there is no real celebration at the end, LB and CN are both mentally and emotionally drained. I rlyrly hope the new season is gonna continue on this path, this was such a drama and action tense episode, I won't be able to take it if we go back to Icecream Man-villain and trash filler episodes. They are for sure setting up Marinette's lie as a big plot device for the future, most likely truth will come to light in the finale of one of the next season's finales. It really feels like they're setting Adrien up as Marinette's final boss battle.
The only issue I have with the special is it still has the problem of things not making sense whenever Lila is involved, we still have no idea how she managed to get the miraculous before ladybug and without ladybug noticing and judging by what astruc said on Twitter I don’t think we’re getting a explanation since he said “it doesn’t need to be shown or told how she got it she just did”
She had a backpack with her so she probably just dived in the water the minute no one was looking and ran out while Marinette was occupied with the Gimmi/Gabriel situation
Why would Lila even pack swimming gear? Unless it was in those super secret Gabe info that she found out the base was full of water, it’s also quite lucky that there even was water to dive into because I guess Gabe just wanted to have water and it saved Lila’s arse. Also, you would think Nooroo would’ve tried flying away with the brooch once they saw Lila swimming towards it but I digress. Also also, I think a dive from that height would definitely still hurt big time unless she’s some Olympic diver.
Oh I remember I once read this, you know one of we akuma is called Timestalker, she has he power to travel through time, it might be that she created a small paradox for herself using Timestalker to quickly get it. It might be a coincidence or pure chance in the original timeline, but she then firmly make sure she can get it through her akuma
Going into this, I was really worried that the special was going to try to justify Marinette's decision. I'm glad they didn't, though, and they just explained her thought process on why she did it. If this special is a taste of what the dynamic between Marinette and Lila is going to be like in season 6, I'm kinda looking forward to it as it's nice to have a villain that's actually competent.
@@ethancox9737 It really isn’t stupid tbh. This is the kinda thing that a villain with the Butterfly Miraculous (arguably one of the four most powerful Miraculouses) should be doing, if they have any brains or any drive whatsoever. This is the sort of plan that Gabe should have been implementing at least a every few episodes. Instead, he just randomly chose a person, akumatized them, and hoped that they would bludgeon Ladybug and Chat Noir enough to grab their Miraculouses. That lack of strategic planning could have been excused for the first season, but it really became lazy and dumb as it continued past that.
Yeah, I did like this special too. The emphasis on the heavy emotional part and the moral ambiguity, you can feel it in each of the scenes where Bug Noire / S5 end Ladybug appears, specially when Bug Noire (spoilers) destroys the evidence and when she tells Nathalie that the truth is what Ladybug would tell the World.
12:26 everyone has been saying it doesnt make sense but listen! As you all know, the typical ladybug you'd see is black and red. Duh. However, like everything else in life, ladybugs come in different shades and colours. This is where yellow ladybugs comes in. Symbolically, yellow ladbybugs represent prosperity or fortune. Particularly when a new era in your life beginnings. As a fandom, we're saying bye to an old animation style (SAMG) and an old villain (Hawky/Gabe), and welcoming a new animation company and desgin (Dawrf) as well as villain (Lila/Cerise). This is to "wish" luck and success to the series, as it leaps into these new changes. (As we hope for a future filled with better writing😭) It's very clever y'know. But then again, that's my theory.
fr😭😭 FINALLY someone pointed out the entire metaphor, your analysing was Perfect not only its a symbol of the brand new chronology also a shrewd way to represent the audience about distinction and the character dynamics and how versatile Ladybug's potential power can become
When it comes to Miss Tsurugi, it would be best to not tell people the truth. The reason for that is that they don’t have any evidence linking her to helping Gabe. You could say that she’s involved because she helped create the alliance rings, but she can make the argument that she wasn’t aware that Gabriel was Monarch and couldn’t “see” him for the man he truly was, pun very intended🙃. If that were to happen, it would just be Marinette‘s words against hers. And being the careful person that’s Tsurugi is she will start being more cautious and hide evidence if it turns out that someone knows about her.
Yes, it maybe wise to not against her. I mean Teenager heroine VS Tsurugi the Blind Asian parent dictatorial Rich powerful president of Tsurugi company I want get away from that mother
@@javondozier7904 but does she have a bigger future? Why did she want to help Gabe other than Alliance to get her daughter and Adrian dating? Could there be more about her coming?
This was a good one, but of course Adrien/Cat Noir wasn't involved in any way. Go figure. And she is so wrong for not having told Adrien the truth, but at least Tikki and Plagg weren't telling her that she did the right thing when she asks them. Also, I would have really liked to know what Lila's wish was.
The tone of this special was way darker than I expected but I really shouldn't have been surprised. I may not like Lila but I can respect she gets shit done her first attack and she straight up won. Poor Mars Bars was going through it emotionally here. Mama Nathalie my beloved she was so good here
The only thing is I still can’t take Lila seriously because she still a kid and this is our big bad like come on if she was 26 I would take her serious but for now she just a brat throwing a fit
@JeffUni Well the problem is one an idiot and the other is a lazy replacement with the delusion of grandeur with no work and just lucky but really stupid it’s the Salem and Cinder problem really
Now thinking about it, Lila having blonde hair now might be a way to channel Austruc's hate toward Cloe on to Lila so he stops ruining the serie's writting lol btw: I think she uses the butterfly miraculous upside down to distinguish herself from gabe.
@@TheNyleve16 it’s interesting to me that Chloe returns. I’m wondering if she will be Lila’s side kick. Does Chloe redeem herself, get the butterfly and we get out of the akum business? Does she let that power corrupt her and she becomes Hawk Moth next? Honestly I’m sure it might not be either but I like speculating.
The writers: We need to get rid of him, if he fights he could steal the spotlight from our protagonist, and also put Marinette to have some connection with Gabriel in civilian life as soon as possible so that the final fight has the least emotional charge.
On one hand, Marinette acknowledge that Gabe was a smooth brain. On the other hand, Marinette lost to a smooth brain by letting her guard down while he was still armed. Who is the bigger fool? The fool or the fool that follows the first fool?
Marinette is a fool when it comes to love and Adrien. Gabe is just a straight-up fool. Like, he had the power to akumatize anyone and later the ability to make Sentimonsters and to imbue his minions with the powers of the other Miraculouses, and he still didn’t craft any complicated plans (beyond Sentibubbler and Optigami). Then, he committed the ultimate blunder by allowing Felix to just leave after he recognized that Felix knew his identity.
I've already seen it 7 times..., SO GOOD. My ranking of the specials: 1️⃣ Miraculous World London 2️⃣ Miraculous World Paris - 3️⃣ Miraculous World Shanghai 4️⃣ Miraculous World New York
I would like to believe that the rabbit miraculous is not so op because of the possibility of many time paradoxes (like the second film of Back to the Future), and that it is not shown in the series only because the paradox is fixed by the miraculous ladybug. So far, it seemed to me that Gabe remembers his akuma transformations, as do Natalie and others who volunteered to help him.
I like to think that everything from season 1-5 was basically the equivalent to the first Jojo story "phantom blood". A bit clumsy, awkward and still sort of getting the hang of it, but had a genuine heart in it. The next one will be its "battle tendency". Believe It or not, but both phantom blood and the agreste arc have far more connections than you think. Reception wise, they're probably the lowest rated (but will still be the most important part to understand the story) as the creators were still like a bit learning to walk with it. Ironically, it happened in opposite ways (the agreste arc started well but began to sour with time while Phantom Blood started sour but improved as time went on. Same goes to the protagonists Jonathan and Marinette and even their relationships with Adrien and erina). Story wise, both feature people of lower and high class finding supernatural artifacts (the miraculouses and the stone mask), blonde deciveful handsome devils abused by their dads before those dad's died from disease (Felix and Dio with colt dying due to using a broken miraculous and Dario dying due to Dio poisoning him), old Chinese men who drove the plot forward (Fu and Wang Chen), innocent nobles (Adrien and Jonathan), characters who were originally poor but became connected with rich people later on and became successful themselves while also being English voiced by Keith Silverstein (Gabriel and Speedwagon), a bullied girl who later became stronger (Marinette and erina), villains who use minions (Gabriel and Dio), a mentor who sacrifices themselves (Fu and zeppelin) and even a bittersweet simultaneous win/lose ending involving the rich characters (Gabriel sacrificing his life to heal Natalie and move on with Emilie by using the wish and Jonathan encouraging erina to escape the exploding ship and rescue a baby at the cost of his life while also keeping Dio detained. Funnily enough, both of those nobles had Hebrew names which might have eluded their fate: Gabriel (גבריאל) translated as “God is my strength,” “God is my strong man,” or “hero of God.” and in his ending, he has literally given the power of god and decided to do something right after so long. Meanwhile Jonathan (יונתן) means "God has given" and throughout the series, we see Jonathan giving many things to various characters: he gave back the doll to erina, he tried to give his help to Dio, he tried to give his best in everything he did, he gave Dio a beating for unconsensually kissing erina, among many things. Most important is that he gave his life in the end to protect erina and the baby so they could escape and live their lives and he could keep Dio detained).
12:37 her suit had to be yellow so that bunnyx could recognise her, (that is explained in the special) and her name is chrono-bug because chronological order, (because it’s a time travel thingy) although that’s not specifically mentioned. Idk why they changed her name.
I hate how Cat Noir/Adrien has been pushed aside for all these seasons, BUT I do like now that it at least can be used to build up towards an INSANE villain/anti-hero arc. Adrien knows SO little and is being lied to and kept in the dark about so much, I'm DYING to see him finally learn everything. Of course, like everyone else, I just want him to be happy, but we have to deal with the tragedy of his life. (Ideally, he'd be treated as an equal character early on, but at least there's something to look forward to in the future.)
I would love that, Chat Blanc again but idk I think they make episodes like Chat blanc, Ephemeral and hopefully Adrien's villain arc so they would prove they cant know their identies cuz something always goes wrong, and bc they apparently gonna make 12 seasons, yea prob wont happend untill last episode when we are in our 50s. Is a genius marketing way but not very nice for the fans who are been waiting forever for them to reveal and not erase the timeline like always
If Marinette told the truth about Gabriel being Hawk Moth, it would destroy Adrien's life in more ways than one. Aside from Natalie getting arrested and no one being able to care for him, therefore either going to London permanently to be with his aunt or into the foster care system. There's also the chance that everyone would despise Adrien because they will think he was working for Hawk Moth. It doesn't matter if he didn't know or not, people are stupid and will look for someone to blame. He will forever be labelled Hawk Moth's son, even long after he is dead and gone.
Marinette or nino's family could adopt adrien if it was that serious also adrien is a celebrity he's the basically the justin bieber of this world so if justin bieber's dad turned out to be someone like osama bin laden, he'd still be known as justin bieber because he already had fame
Trust me, if you lie to someone, when they find out it will be much worse. She was supposed to tell the truth because if Adrien finds out, or Lila tells him, it will be chaos (but the writers are very cowardly so it probably won't happen)
That’s the thing-Marinette didn’t necessarily have to tell EVERYONE about Monarch’s identity, but she could’ve told Adrien. She could’ve let Adrien, the one who would be affected by it, decide whether it should be made public or not. But, as usual, Marinette decided that she should control the stream of information and that she alone should decide who gets to know what. She seems to function on the basis of “need to know” rather than “right to know”. In a way, it makes her a lot like Gabe himself. He too decided to keep things from Adrien because he didn’t feel like Adrien had a need to know-he never cared whether Adrien had a right to know anything. Overall, my only hope is that the narrative doesn’t sugarcoat or brush past Marinette’s controlling nature when or if the lie is finally revealed. It would feel really cheap if Adrien forgave her right away, and doubly cheap if he stayed with her afterwards.
Ladybug's outfit changed colors because she was wearing the yellow vest. The yellow vest had the purpose of identifying her as the Marinette/Ladybug from the present time. This idea/purpose carried over to Chronobug's outfit. the name Chronobug is just because they're travelling in time (chrono- being time)
THEORY!!! At the end of the London special, Marinette said she gave the miraculous some new features. What if one of those allows all the miraculous to be able to capture an akuma!! Or just gives them all a magical yo-yo. That would allow any hero to battle an akumatized villain without Ladybug always needing to be there!! And it would give our new heroes time to shine and show off their individual strengths!!
Well, isnt that a part of her powers? and you cant imitate a kwami power( wich is bs cuz how they gonna explain antibug or copycat who had their powers thanks to another kwami power)
Things i didnt like: Adrien barely being in this movie, Alix has to stay away from her friends even longer and considering S6 is in a new school year, she has been there for at least 3 months, Lila being the villain for one day and immediately winning when it took Gabriel multiple tries, Nathalie knowing who LB and Marinette not evn tellling CN who Gabriel truly was. Things i liked: More Alix and even older Bunnix, though it sets the precendent that the heroes are doing this until they are in their 60's.
keep in mind that lila is much smarter than gabriel. he was only worried abt saving his wife, and we don’t know lila’s. we don’t know much about her yet😭
I don't think they're doing it in their 60's my theory is that Mari took back all the miraculous after Lila was defeated but gave Bunnix the bunny miraculous to ensure that the timeline stays intact.
I mean we all know in movies children are the smartest and adults are stupid, so makes sense? Also he had a chance to save her in ep 1 s5 but was obssesd with LB and CN( kinda wierd if you ask me) so he lost. I guess they wanna say if your motives are clear( wich Lila's are) you can do everything, and if they arent( like Gabriels) you fail? Nice lesson, but I dont think they tought of that
I enjoy Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir but I'm also critical of it for certain choices but this definitely was a step in the right direction taking a more mature & dark turn by finally having Marinette look inward to confront herself to face the mistakes she made while trying to deal with the weight of her guilt it definitely felt sort of like a really good Spider-Man story line.
Really liked the special! The darker tone makes me so excited for S6. 6:34 I'm guessing Lila's wish is something miraculous-related like the Ladybug never existing. 18:45 Isn't this the first time the show's referred to somebody as 'dead'?
@@ethancox9737 I think I like it best when the goofy stuff is mixed with some more serious plotlines; a wider spectrum of stories gives the characters more opportunities to evolve
Can't believe she not only lost to the villain but also listened to him and kept his reputation clean, c'mon, you will become Failbug if you keep this up.
Ladybug’s lies are going to blow up in her face, and it’ll be exciting to see. But man, I’m so glad Lila’s the new Hawkmoth. She’s like the best character on the show. Cunning, manipulative, and mysterious. I kind of hoping we don’t see what she’s working towards for a long time. As for those that know Marinette’s secret identity, how did Kagami and Felix figure it out?
Im actually hyped for the new look! And it does sound like a good story so far! It is stupid to call the special "London" is they aren't really in London. Your title was more engaging. Im a bit fed up with the color = new name when it should be new color = same name, especially if theres nothing added to it other than a different skin. It is ironic how nearly every important person knows "THE BIG SECRET" and life goes on, but for some reason if Adrien knew, the world will end. Kind counterintuitive... ah well but sometimes, we have to shut our brains off to understand that there's nothing to understand.
It's not really Adrien knowing that would cause the world to end the root cause was always Gabriel,Cat Blanc nor ephemeral would've happened had Gabriel not taken advantage of his son at a vulnerable moment to akumatize him,by that logic if Lila weren't so occupied at the moment the moment Ladybug told him his dad died would've also been a perfect moment for akumatization but that didn't happen,he needs time to process it grief is normal but people do eventually move on even if it takes a long time for some,it would've hurt Adrien the same but he wouldn't have been akumatized without Gabriel intervening
Just to note that the bright yellow suit *does* have a significant purpose and that’s so bunnix knows which is present-day LB and so she would accidentally pull out a diff LB from a diff timeline.
I just love when the writers take things serious especially LB using more physically form than relying on her weapon. We know Adrien will go down that route. The yellow suit was a grower for me & it does look nice on her. I don’t have an issue with the new animation it looks cute. Also Cristina did say in an interview it’s a soft reboot but a continuation of the series. Hopefully the writing is like this especially Lila being a scary villain
Bunnix explained that Marinette needed to wear a yellow vest to let Bunnix know which Marinette to talk to if she had to go back in time somewhere.... So I believe Ladybug decided to make her suit bright yellow with holographic spots so Bunnix can easily see her
It's was a clever way to explain everything that happend between season 5 and start of season 6. Now they don't have to use 5 episodes to explain everything and jump right into the story and action! Also good special
Best part about this special is that lila did all that jsut with butterfly miraculous, she had no technology except for those smart watches, no money back up, no help from anyone, and no extra information, she just used butterfly miraculous well and almost won
Which brings up the question how can she do and even know all about this like is she like vandel savage or is she even human at all what if she is something else in general something ancient
Imagine hearing that a mistake you made as a teens is going to haunt you for a long time, basicly just being told that you will never have a moment of rest for years
Lilas Hawkmoth will be interesting to see. Ladybug's Lies will definitely blow up in her face, and Adrien will not take it well especially if he finds out from Lila that not only did Ladybug lie but Nathalie was an accomplice knows the truth.
Lila will be the Carnage to Marinette's Spiderman just as Gabriel was the Green Goblin to Marinette's Spiderman. This guy well articulated just how scary she seemed in this episode; and I am looking forward to it continuing and expanding. I am quite sure that her meltdown scared many people; let us hope that they continue to make her nightmare fuel.
@@Mightymewing360 Mysterio is not as cruel or violent as Lila; the scenes of Lila in private in Perfection in S5 and in this special give me serial killer vibes so yeah Carnage not Mysterio.
@ReginaMacKenzie1994 I might be thinking of no way home but the thing is take away the miraculous, lies and tech getting rid of the lies and illusions form lila all you got is a pathetic nobody who throws fits kinda like mysterio in no way home see where I’m going with this a bit
@@Mightymewing360 I mean in Marvel more generally. Several times she has acted like a serial killer and this special gave plenty of people (Smarty Pants among them) the creeps. As for the claim that without a miraculous she isn't much, I have to disagree, she has managed to be a menace before she took Nooroo. And tbh, the claim that being less relevant without a miraculous makes a character inconsequential could apply to everyone other than Lila and Felix. Find me anyone other than those two that remain relevant at all without a miraculous.
To me, it was an OK special. I like that we get to fill in the gaps between the wish and the "epilogue" of season 5. It kinda explains why Marinette doesn't want to explain anything to Adrien, but the story also recognizes that it might not be the right thing to do. It also sets up Lila as a competent villain, rather then a bad liar. The thing I don't like about the special is that it doesn't really change anything. The special starts with Marinette hiding the truth about Gabe and being unsure about making the right choice. And it ends with Marinette hiding the truth about Gabe and being unsure about making the right choice. This is one of the few moments in the series where you have access to time travel, since Bunnyx is going to stay in the burrow again for the next season, so Marinette has a way to change her choice. I wish her choice to hide everything was more based on what happened in this story (for example, Marinettes story to Adrien could've clued in Adrien that Marinette is Ladybug, and Lila found that out because she was stalking Adrien because he's Monarchs son). I feel like they could've done more to explain Marinettes choice. Also small detail that was missed: There should've been a scene with Lila diving up the butterfly miraculous and bringing it to her lair
I just wish Lila was learning to be competed instead of just starting right out she just got the damn thing and is suddenly is a master at it would’ve been more interesting to see the villain rise to power then to start out
honestly, this special made me excited for mlb again. i’ve been falling out of the show (and the fandom) since season 4 because the writing, character designs, and romance (at least, the way it was executed) was boring and seemed like they kept throwing plot points or conflicts in to lengthen the show for no reason. but its obvious that this new phase has brought about some serious upgrades. lila being a villian is so exciting because theres so much more cunning ways she can achieve her goal, and she’s not predictable like gabriel. i’m excited for season six, and even though its confirmed that they’re producing until season 9, i just hope that they don’t rush the plot or butcher any of the other characters. i’m on the edge of my seat for season six!
@mikinesis None really just an alien overlord unless we wanna do something that’s close to frieza or darkseid also it’s not like aliens can’t exist if we have real superheroes heck I think the kiwami might be aliens themselves Actually now saying all this we can have an alien invasion that comes to earth to take back there kiwami that we’re lost and conquer the planet doing so
I normally don't like when Adrian is sidelined, and I don't like how the season five finale played out with not having him at the final battle. But I do like the way the consequences of it are being handled here, and I think that just for this time it makes sense for the focus to be on Mari as she grapple with whether she made the right choice
Ya know what's insane, Lila ended up technically getting her goal done in a day when it took Gabriel much longer, probably because overtime he started getting desperate and the fact, he basically cataclysm making him weaker probably didn't help
The new suit color is supposed to be so Alex knows it’s present time ladybug I think. Like a way to make sure she can keep track of ladybug through these timelines, without mixing her up for the past ladybug
I'm sure we'll learn more about Cerise and what her intentions for the wish there were for until her child past backstory is finally revealed to us all here
The crazy thing about all the lies and secrets is that Adrien STILL doesn't even know that he is a SENTIMONSTER..., like we totally forgot about that??!! How will he react to that revelation in the future? Imagine telling somebody that you've been made through magic and that you could get destroyed at any minute..., that's so scary to me, like I feel so bad for Adrien/Chat Noir. And regarding his father's death and him having been Hawk Moth etc, would even further destroy Adrien, since he did cataclysm his own father..., Adrien couldn't handle this. To me, this is a 10/10 special, the best one yet. I love the drama and the emotional moments of this special; very well written. The score and the cinematography are just outstanding; really well done. The action and the animation were TOP TIER; it was beautiful to watch. This was probably the best piece of storytelling in miraculous history imo!🤷♂️
12:29 remember the construction vest that Alex gave mari so that they would know she was the current timeline ladybug? Yeah I assume that ladybug adopted that idea into her suit for the same purpose (especially since we don’t really see her as mari much) and chromo means time so that suit (her time suit) would be chronobug Heavy on the “I think” though
I only watched this special for villain Adrien, because at this point, I just wanted him to be involved in the story again. And honestly, I think it would have been better than what we got. Because then Marinette would at least have a better reason to lie to the whole Paris. It's one thing to say that she didn't learn Monarch's identity and another to fabricate events and cover for a criminal. Maybe it'll be shown to be a problem later on but I honestly doubt it. It was interesting that one person asked Ladybug whether she had lost because she had been alone. Because she indeed lost, but it feels like Gabriel making the wish was a good thing. So as long as the wish is selfless, it's apparently okay. Also, the ending with Ladybug saying that she has a big secret and Cat Noir immediatley going "it doesn't matter" almost made me laugh. It's as if he's completely given up. I got bored after 25 minutes or so and skipped to the end. I'm glad other people enjoyed the special, but I know I won't be watching season 6.
I cried when Marinette told Natalie that she shouldn't go to jail because Adrian needs a mother and how she's the closest thing he got to a mother. I never thought that Miraculous would ever make me cry, but here we are. This special was an emotional one, and I really like that.😌
@ethancox9737 Crying on behalf of a character and caring so much for them that I can not help but feel immense sadness for that character is I believe us humans' superpower. How we can connect deeply and care so much about a story. I find that the most admirable thing about life and humanity. Oh, and also, above all, emotional connection and crying is a level of connection to the story unlike any other. So yes, I like how it made me cry~
@Mightymewing360 Yes, but what I liked about in this Special is that unlike any other time she's being set up to face the consequences of her actions, I think that's a really big progress in miraculous.
Chronos = Time thus the name; as for the yellow suit, it has something to do with the safety vest she wore so Bunnyx could identify who is the 'current' LB who needs saving because Bunnyx might actually pull out the past Ladybug and ruin everything else.
15:05-15:13 Natalie: miraculously recovers from something she shouldn't have Also Natalie: ok! no time to question how that happened, time to stop Gabe in the harshest way possible...now where did I put that crossbow?
20:19 i love that you said the "don't let the nostalgia goggles blind you" because i genuinely think that the reason why the new animation is so hated is purely just because of nostalgia. i personally, as someone who loves animation and plans to be an animator in the future, love the new animation, there was so many things to say about the animation, how the animation of some scenes didn't make sense like one where marinette is on a scooter and her bag flies but he jacket doesn't???? and there was so many other scenes too, and objectively, the og animation just isn't thaaaaattt pretty- on top of that i learned that one of the reasons was that the other animation used a really old software that made it take much longer to make compared to the new one sooooooo it just makes it easier for everyone really ! also just objectively the new animation is genuinely beautiful, all the shadows and lights are themselves to much better than in the old animation, i just love it way too much rn x) i also heard some stuff about how some people are mad about the new designs, but holy shit the marinette one was long overdue, i've been fighting with myself since the beginning trying to convince myself that her outfit was nice and that i liked it but goddamn it just did not feel right, the vibe of it was a yes, the execution was a no, it always felt weird both with marinette and gabriel agreste how much i tried to convince myself that they weren't bad KNOWING THAT ONE IS A FASHION DESIGNER AND THE OTHER PLANS TO BE ONE....... and now i am LOVING this new design, hell the detail i saw of the button of her shorts being a flower????? i LOVE it. the few other re-designs i've seen are also pretty, to me they really did the characters justice now, it fits so much better with them!!
12:16 Didn't they also establish that the Qwamis remember every event from every timeline in the last special? So not only do they keep it secret for this timeline, but every single other secret or bit of information they know from other dimensions is also kept secret. Multidimensional beings are crazy man.
7:13 I actually did notice this because it seemed weird that the camera stayed on that tunnel for a bit after she walked out of it. I knew there was going to be something important about the light turning off/staying on that came up later 8:13 Marinette’s reasoning here was to protect Kagami, not Adrien. She said this outright
it sucks that we don't see explicitly the way Lila/Cerise took the butterfly miraculous, and Thomas' responds towards that topic makes me feel disappointed, since this show is always puts many little attention to details as possible, especially for Marinette herself.
My guess about Lila’s wish was probably related to the creation and/or destruction of the Miraculous. If Gimmi is the kwami of reality, maybe Lila wished that the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculouses cease to exist from that point on, or that they never existed, which destroys reality. Or maybe she wishes that the miraculous were never created, which creates a paradox, because if they never existed, she couldn’t make a wish with them, but if she never makes a wish with them, they will never have not existed. But hey, that’s just a theory.
"Ghosts aren't real" Marinette you met santa claus who became possessed by a demonic butterfly, ghosts don't sound so crazy
Underated comment 😭
and she also told shady bug about the signs according to which it is unfortunate to break a mirror
HELP THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
“Ghosts aren’t real 🤓”
Yet tiny creatures that live inside magical pieces of jewlery and give their wearer superpowers are….
I don’t think a ghost would be too impossible in this universe, Mari…
Tbf that was just a mall Santa that got akumatized into a Santa monster not the actual Santa. And beside the Kwamis all the supernatural stuff is usually an akumatized human.
When chromobug tells Lila- "You're probably smart enough to not have the miraculous of the butterfly with you.." ..I paused it and thought ABT THE FACT THAT GABRIEL WOULDVE BROUGHT IT😭
To be fair ladybug brings her miraculous with her all the time hell she gotten hers and the cat taken from Gabe so really what’s that say about her
@Mightymewing360 she has to wear her miraculous so she can defeat the bad guy.. How is she gonna fight if she doesn't have it, I get where ur coming from but she needs hers w her😭
@KennaL0vesU-r3l
Same thing for Gabe like how can he beat ladybug without his miraculous he gonna need it to have a fighting chance against ladybug like he can’t win without being hawkmoth or any moth name villain
I love how Marinette got revenge for the “Marinette is monarch” thing Lila did in season 5
Did the people in universe really believe that they got to be really stupid that a 14 yr old girl looks and sounds like a 40 yr old man
It's was Lila's power when Monarch akumatized her.
Lmao that epi was wild
@@Mightymewing360do you not pay attention to the show, it’s the quantum masking that’s gonna confuse people regardless of how similar their civilian appearance is to their outfit and even then, they were under hoaxers control. the reason her suit is yellow is so that bunnix can distinguish present Marinette with Marinette from other timelines. Imagine if she got them mixed up and pulled the wrong up back to the borrow and just ruined the entire plan 💀😂
Pretty much, the hazard suit merged into her form, and made her glow neon yellow.
now i'm imaging if she pulls ladybug from origins P1 that knows literally nothing about her powers and forces her to fight one of the toughest enemies (Lila)
Plus it isn't weird since ladybugs are also yellow not just red.
Is the English dub of Miraculous ladybug London coming out before Season6?
that was for the outfit.
Yeah, I was like - finally! A competent villain!

People rarely ever talk about this kinda stuff but personally I think they REALLY popped off with the music in this special (and the previous season too honestly), really enhanced the entire movie, big props to whoever composed these tracks
That's exactly what I was thinking the entire time. The score was majestic.
Some of the music in this special sounded like something from ace attorney. That’s a compliment by the way.
yess that was my reaction!! when i heard some of that orchestral goodness, it actually caught my attention (which i rarely pay attention to)
especailly when she came back in the other portal when flipping the jazzy music was just bomb
@@chxrryery4188 The writers when writing that sequence: 🔥✍
She panicked about the light because she realized Lila had been there the first time as well, even after Lila had found out her identity, she still wanted more info
The show did not deserve such a banger soundtrack. The scene of her destroying everything in the lair was actually so cold though.
True and the completely dead and expressionless look she had in her eyes the whole time she walked through those white corridors to talk to Adrien and her destroying the lair it felt like what it was a teenager who had to grow so much in a day because of the things she'd witnessed and the burden she had now.
And the intro with that music?! The Paris intro gave me chill but this. Omg
Felt like an inverse version of Felix thanos snapping everybody except kagami and adrien
Don't forget the Chronobug defeats Timestalker soundtrack
Man poor nooroo little guy just can’t catch a break I’m glad he’s at least happy in one universe with betterfly
Ah yes, that ONE UNIVERSE.
Really just one I’m pretty sure there are other universes where he’s happy if we’re including fanfics that is
Hopefully this'll all change if he, Duusu, Felix, and Cerise learn about Cat Blanc one day who would probably be worse than Cerise, or Gabe really
Ikr!! Gabriel was bad but I'm actually scared for nooroo bc of cerise...poor buddy :((
@@arie735 the fact they address that Bunnix will be in the burrow until the Butterfly is retrieved and Alix is 70….that one stings.

at this point I just want chat noir to do anything of importance. Just let my boy be. Also make gorilla take a full custody of him because I don't trust the rest of the adults at all.
Gorilla is literally the only person of importance in his life who has not lied to him every other person whose important lied to him
Gorilla is literally the best adult in the series. Definitely my favourite character.
i have a feeling, that they gonna make him the main character for an entire sub-arc. right now, he is not doing anything, but he is at the centre of what everyone else was doing around him.
when the s5 finale aired, people were angry, that they skipped from gabe dying straight to everyone being happy ever after, without adressing the consequences, BUT now we got an entire special about the immediate fallout. the writing staff did not forget the fallout, they were just saving it for this special, at least marinettes part of it.
right now, everyone tries to hide gabes secret identity from adrien, but Cerise KNOWS the secret identity of monarch, and i dont think she will comply with everyones wishes in this regard. she has the ability to debunk ladybugs story whenever she wants.
let them cook.
Gorilla can’t talk so don’t know who they would lie-
Chat Noir's current situation reminds me of Chloe's in Season 3. Alone, feeling betrayed by Ladybug...and then Hawk Moth shows up to talk.
When Alex said "ultimate blunder" when watching the final battle I thought it was a reference to how badly they messed up the season 5 finale. I then realised they would never admit that
😂
i mean she is acknowledging Marinette's stupidity in that
I didn't even realize that😂😂

Two things. One: I find it funny that Adrien is better at keeping his identity secret than Marinette, as the only two who know are due to forms of time travel. Two: One mystery from the season 5 finale remains. What attacked "Lila" in the epilogue? I'm half expecting them to drop that plot point in season 6.
I'm thinking it could have possibly been "Lila's" akumatized form but I'm not sure
@troublingcow925 I'm pretty sure it's not, now that we know that the epilogue takes place months after the London special.
@@ztyran It could be The Supreme,as only the Supreme defines reality, reality is the Supreme.

I actually think that who we see in the special isn't Lila but rather The Supreme who came here after Shadybug and Claw Noir Rebelled against her!
Why is Lila so scary??? Her outburst at the end gave me chills.
Really it’s just a brat throwing a whiney fit
It's probably to hype her up as the next villain. In season 5 Gabriel became very mad and more evil and abusive than he ever was, so to higher the stakes they needed to show how more crazy and dangerous than him Lila can be
Frrrrrrr!! whenever someone does that hyperventilating, hands on their face, and shrunken puiples, you know its SERIOUS and gives the chills.
She isn’t that scary
Lila has anger issue. Also villain need to have weakness so hero(es) can defeat her
In reference to did tikki know all along this was going to happen, this is hinted at by tikki when Marinette first goes to sleep.

I think not telling Adrien is going to be a big mistake in season 6
@@animezilla4486 I hope it does. It would be a shame if they don't capitalize on this plot line.
@@animezilla4486 Thats the main reason, I believe.

@@Doomzdeh I know, but I think making Lila the new main villain in the first place was kind of silly, especially since she already caused so much trouble while Hawkmoth was still around. Plus, they could have made Gabriel at least a bit smarter while still keeping the cheesy monster of the week aspect.
@@ethancox9737 actually it's backward. They lower Gabe's iq
Exactly. The Paris and London specials make me think someone other than Thomas wrote them ngl.
@@JeffUnithe fact that he did shows that he's capable of doing good things. And even looking at the show, he has nailed some stuff.
And now we don't know what would've happened if Adrien knew the truth.
@@dangerbuffrockyit would be really cool if they showed both versions: Mari lying vs Mari telling the truth
I'm praying the villain in the season 5 finale is chat blanc and not Lila. Lila can just be pulling the strings.
adriens reaction had me in TEARSS.
ok this one was undoubtedly the best one so far.
The only issue I have with the special is it still has the problem of things not making sense whenever Lila is involved, we still have no idea how she managed to get the miraculous before ladybug and without ladybug noticing and judging by what astruc said on Twitter I don’t think we’re getting a explanation since he said “it doesn’t need to be shown or told how she got it she just did”
My head canon girl decided to take a dip instantly and that’s y she had to shave her head and get a wig cuz girl stanks 😂😂😂
Replace Lila with Tomoe than you got a good villain
I think Lila being able to do all this is stupid.
@@Doomzdeh No, I meant that I think Lila being the new Big Bad in the first place is annoying.
@@Doomzdehtop 4 are ladybug, black cat, butterfly and peacock right? (Rabbit is to op)
Yeah, I did like this special too. The emphasis on the heavy emotional part and the moral ambiguity, you can feel it in each of the scenes where Bug Noire / S5 end Ladybug appears, specially when Bug Noire (spoilers) destroys the evidence and when she tells Nathalie that the truth is what Ladybug would tell the World.
this feels like the first time they're REALLY grappling with the amount of power ladybug has over paris. it's surprisingly compelling and well done.
(As we hope for a future filled with better writing😭)
It's very clever y'know. But then again, that's my theory.
fr😭😭 FINALLY someone pointed out the entire metaphor, your analysing was Perfect
not only its a symbol of the brand new chronology also a shrewd way to represent the audience about distinction and the character dynamics and how versatile Ladybug's potential power can become
Me and my friend were watching the special, and I started shouting "W-WAIT LILA LOOKS SO BADASS"
Lila-the least smoothest brain of the show
When it comes to Miss Tsurugi, it would be best to not tell people the truth.
I mean

It’s still goofy tho that she able to do all this without any trouble despite being a newbie
The cool thing about the yellow ladybug is that yellow ladybugs actually exist :)
Her suit is yellow bcuz she needed to differentiate herself from all her past self. That's why she also wore the vest.
Somebody remember when in s4 finally, chat noir said to ladybug he would help her defeat hawkmoth?? Just me 😢?
The writers: We need to get rid of him, if he fights he could steal the spotlight from our protagonist, and also put Marinette to have some connection with Gabriel in civilian life as soon as possible so that the final fight has the least emotional charge.
F*** you show writers! You damn cowards!
On one hand, Marinette acknowledge that Gabe was a smooth brain. On the other hand, Marinette lost to a smooth brain by letting her guard down while he was still armed. Who is the bigger fool? The fool or the fool that follows the first fool?
Marinette at least Gabe knows to try something new to work you know experiment with the script telling you to lose Marinette was just being dumb
I mean it was the fact he was the fool that made her job easier
Marinette is a fool when it comes to love and Adrien. Gabe is just a straight-up fool. Like, he had the power to akumatize anyone and later the ability to make Sentimonsters and to imbue his minions with the powers of the other Miraculouses, and he still didn’t craft any complicated plans (beyond Sentibubbler and Optigami). Then, he committed the ultimate blunder by allowing Felix to just leave after he recognized that Felix knew his identity.
Marinette just a fool in general
I've already seen it 7 times..., SO GOOD.

The fact Gabriel Agreste needed a whole year to get the miraculous he wishes for, while Lila almost succeeded by only needing a day or maybe less.
Idk why they changed her name.
the 4th wall break when Marinette says the origins episode feels like 10 years ago
My brother and I watched it last night, and it was insanely good. Makes me really hyped to watch the next season.
True
I hate how Cat Noir/Adrien has been pushed aside for all these seasons, BUT I do like now that it at least can be used to build up towards an INSANE villain/anti-hero arc.
Adrien knows SO little and is being lied to and kept in the dark about so much, I'm DYING to see him finally learn everything. Of course, like everyone else, I just want him to be happy, but we have to deal with the tragedy of his life.
(Ideally, he'd be treated as an equal character early on, but at least there's something to look forward to in the future.)
I'm not looking forward to it at all.
True but you could argue that she pr Nathalie could have told Adrian at the very least he deserves the truth the public eh not so much
Marinette or nino's family could adopt adrien if it was that serious also adrien is a celebrity he's the basically the justin bieber of this world so if justin bieber's dad turned out to be someone like osama bin laden, he'd still be known as justin bieber because he already had fame
Trust me, if you lie to someone, when they find out it will be much worse.
She was supposed to tell the truth because if Adrien finds out, or Lila tells him, it will be chaos (but the writers are very cowardly so it probably won't happen)
@@krriss090that’s the point lol, this show is built on drama
This special was emotional and Fun
Image if she was able to put a tracking device, in case Lila manages to steal one miraculous.
@@pslayer8943 i think she'd probably do this
Well, isnt that a part of her powers? and you cant imitate a kwami power( wich is bs cuz how they gonna explain antibug or copycat who had their powers thanks to another kwami power)
Lila villain sue for sure can’t take her this seriously especially since she just got her miraculous for like a day or 2 ago
I was also kind of disappointed that we didn't get to see Kagami confront her mother but nonetheless it was a good special.
keep in mind that lila is much smarter than gabriel. he was only worried abt saving his wife, and we don’t know lila’s. we don’t know much about her yet😭
Yea coz they always used to say that Emilie "DiSaPpEaREd"

Ladybug’s lies are going to blow up in her face, and it’ll be exciting to see.
But man, I’m so glad Lila’s the new Hawkmoth. She’s like the best character on the show. Cunning, manipulative, and mysterious. I kind of hoping we don’t see what she’s working towards for a long time.
As for those that know Marinette’s secret identity, how did Kagami and Felix figure it out?
Kagami overheard Marinette saying to Alya that she's Ladybug and then later Kagami told Felix
@Dtoons
Quick question can Lila be any of those things you say when the world she in is full of idiots?
She's not smart. Just that the writers make everyone around her brain dead who believe everything she says even though she's obviously lying

@@MillieRoller Then how did Natalie know Ladybug's secret identity
The special is getting me hopeful for season six bit knowing this shows track record has me feeling worried lol
I think the problem comes down to the existence of Gimmi the Kwami of reality
In my perspective this special was basically like normal episode but its 45 minutes.
Bunnix explained that Marinette needed to wear a yellow vest to let Bunnix know which Marinette to talk to if she had to go back in time somewhere.... So I believe Ladybug decided to make her suit bright yellow with holographic spots so Bunnix can easily see her
That was the most _intense_ Miraculous episode I've _ever watched!!!!_
Imagine hearing that a mistake you made as a teens is going to haunt you for a long time, basicly just being told that you will never have a moment of rest for years
This whole thing made me cry twice. TWICE!😭😭😭😭😭
I can never see Lila as Carnage I can see her as more maybe Mystrio at best
@@Mightymewing360 Mysterio is not as cruel or violent as Lila; the scenes of Lila in private in Perfection in S5 and in this special give me serial killer vibes so yeah Carnage not Mysterio.

I might be thinking of no way home but the thing is take away the miraculous, lies and tech getting rid of the lies and illusions form lila all you got is a pathetic nobody who throws fits kinda like mysterio in no way home see where I’m going with this a bit
I just wish Lila was learning to be competed instead of just starting right out she just got the damn thing and is suddenly is a master at it would’ve been more interesting to see the villain rise to power then to start out
@@Mightymewing360I mainly think it’s because she got a copy of the translated book that Fu had and she got it on Hoaxer, she had time to study it
honestly, this special made me excited for mlb again. i’ve been falling out of the show (and the fandom) since season 4 because the writing, character designs, and romance (at least, the way it was executed) was boring and seemed like they kept throwing plot points or conflicts in to lengthen the show for no reason. but its obvious that this new phase has brought about some serious upgrades.
lila being a villian is so exciting because theres so much more cunning ways she can achieve her goal, and she’s not predictable like gabriel. i’m excited for season six, and even though its confirmed that they’re producing until season 9, i just hope that they don’t rush the plot or butcher any of the other characters. i’m on the edge of my seat for season six!
And let's hope she's doesn't stay a villain for longer than well two seasons because it'll just be repetitive

@@Mightymewing360 alien overlord? i’m sorry, i don’t think i understand which character you’re referencing lol

None really just an alien overlord unless we wanna do something that’s close to frieza or darkseid also it’s not like aliens can’t exist if we have real superheroes heck I think the kiwami might be aliens themselves
Actually now saying all this we can have an alien invasion that comes to earth to take back there kiwami that we’re lost and conquer the planet doing so
12:28 I think it's like what happened to rina rouge. The costume adapted to a new role. In this case, distinguishing her from other marinettes
I normally don't like when Adrian is sidelined, and I don't like how the season five finale played out with not having him at the final battle. But I do like the way the consequences of it are being handled here, and I think that just for this time it makes sense for the focus to be on Mari as she grapple with whether she made the right choice
Personally, I thought the special was pretty good. Not as good as the Paris special, but it was definitely the better writing from Miraculous
Yeah Why the show isn't this good
Ya know what's insane, Lila ended up technically getting her goal done in a day when it took Gabriel much longer, probably because overtime he started getting desperate and the fact, he basically cataclysm making him weaker probably didn't help
15:14
There was actually a comic where she goes to the kitchen with this slingshot and meets Adrien, I love the fandom
buggachat mention outside of tumblr holy shit
I swear this show is getting safer, like ngtl I cared when Natalie hug Mariette or when she she said she would sacrifice herself 😢
The new suit color is supposed to be so Alex knows it’s present time ladybug I think. Like a way to make sure she can keep track of ladybug through these timelines, without mixing her up for the past ladybug
I'm sure we'll learn more about Cerise and what her intentions for the wish there were for until her child past backstory is finally revealed to us all here
hi fellow smarty pants
I feel like their waiting to slap Adrien with all of this at once in a future storyline in seasons 6/7
Lila didn't need to see how to make the wish because she already have that information because of her time as Hoaxer in revelation
12:29 remember the construction vest that Alex gave mari so that they would know she was the current timeline ladybug? Yeah I assume that ladybug adopted that idea into her suit for the same purpose (especially since we don’t really see her as mari much) and chromo means time so that suit (her time suit) would be chronobug
Heavy on the “I think” though
Seriously love that they let Ladybug remembered everything and I hope Lila does too
I cried when Marinette told Natalie that she shouldn't go to jail because Adrian needs a mother and how she's the closest thing he got to a mother.
I never thought that Miraculous would ever make me cry, but here we are.
This special was an emotional one, and I really like that.😌
Why do you like that it made you cry?
@ethancox9737
Crying on behalf of a character and caring so much for them that I can not help but feel immense sadness for that character is I believe us humans' superpower.
How we can connect deeply and care so much about a story.
I find that the most admirable thing about life and humanity.
Oh, and also, above all, emotional connection and crying is a level of connection to the story unlike any other.
So yes, I like how it made me cry~
To bad she still helped him hurt alot of people hell she also partly a reason chat blanca happened too she told gabe that adrien was noir
@Mightymewing360
Yes, but what I liked about in this Special is that unlike any other time she's being set up to face the consequences of her actions, I think that's a really big progress in miraculous.
Chronos = Time thus the name; as for the yellow suit, it has something to do with the safety vest she wore so Bunnyx could identify who is the 'current' LB who needs saving because Bunnyx might actually pull out the past Ladybug and ruin everything else.
Wow. Its actually been a year since S5 ended. Feel's weird
15:05-15:13
Natalie: miraculously recovers from something she shouldn't have
Also Natalie: ok! no time to question how that happened, time to stop Gabe in the harshest way possible...now where did I put that crossbow?
Pretty sure the costume is yellow with reflective dots cuz the ladybug outfit was combined with that neon yellow jacket
20:19 i love that you said the "don't let the nostalgia goggles blind you" because i genuinely think that the reason why the new animation is so hated is purely just because of nostalgia.
i personally, as someone who loves animation and plans to be an animator in the future, love the new animation, there was so many things to say about the animation, how the animation of some scenes didn't make sense like one where marinette is on a scooter and her bag flies but he jacket doesn't???? and there was so many other scenes too, and objectively, the og animation just isn't thaaaaattt pretty-
on top of that i learned that one of the reasons was that the other animation used a really old software that made it take much longer to make compared to the new one sooooooo it just makes it easier for everyone really !
also just objectively the new animation is genuinely beautiful, all the shadows and lights are themselves to much better than in the old animation, i just love it way too much rn x)
i also heard some stuff about how some people are mad about the new designs, but holy shit the marinette one was long overdue, i've been fighting with myself since the beginning trying to convince myself that her outfit was nice and that i liked it but goddamn it just did not feel right, the vibe of it was a yes, the execution was a no, it always felt weird both with marinette and gabriel agreste how much i tried to convince myself that they weren't bad KNOWING THAT ONE IS A FASHION DESIGNER AND THE OTHER PLANS TO BE ONE.......
and now i am LOVING this new design, hell the detail i saw of the button of her shorts being a flower????? i LOVE it.
the few other re-designs i've seen are also pretty, to me they really did the characters justice now, it fits so much better with them!!
I knew there was going to be something important about the light turning off/staying on that came up later
8:13 Marinette’s reasoning here was to protect Kagami, not Adrien.
But hey, that’s just a theory.
a line I liked was when she was like "woah that feels like 10 years ago" which, for us it was. For them it was like, within a year
