Thanks for taking the time to make this! Very helpful! What happens when a deal becomes closed and you are invested in it? Are you still able to put money into it or is the compounding finished? So finding the "growth rate" for these crowdfunding sites lies in looking at the fundamentals? Do you like RealtyMogul?

Thanks William and welcome to the community. When a fund is closed, it's up to the fund provider whether they take new investments but your invested money will continue to grow and compound. I'm not a big fan of RealtyMogul because of the fees and how the investment is set up.

At 1:00, actually online stock broker costs are usually around 1% per trade and the stocks mentioned by major news outlets are usually Dow or S&P components which have done very well. Not the half and half lost scenario mentioned.

Not sure which online stock brokers you're looking at...because I don't know any that charge a percentage rather than a flat per trade fee.

What do you think of Ground floor, Stairs by Groundfloor, NYCE, and CrowdStreet?

I would glad pay an analyst who knows how to follow up on these 5 criteria, This does not seem like a task for the average Joe in America.

Fundrise has an IRA option. How would RMDs at age 72 be handled? Thanks!

Good question Christina. Will have to ask but I imagine same as other IRAs, you'd be required to withdraw minimum. I think in that case, platform would work with you to allow for distribution.

Hello, Fundrise requires you to be a US resident in order to invest in crowdfunding real estate. Any crowdfunding real estate platforms that you know of that doesn’t require you to be a US resident and accredited investor? Thanks
