Having had the pleasure of seeing them live a few years ago, you HAVE to see them. They are just so much fun live and they love interacting with the crowd. Ive seen a lot of band/artist over the years (from Rod Stewart to Judas Priest) but they are my favorite. The age range at the concert was incredible. There was a guy in his 80s rocking out along with a 7 year old. I love they way they brought a young fan up on stage and gave him Joakims glasses.
I have had the pleasure to have watched them live several times, I have never lefy any of their shows disapointed.
Indeed, seen them live once and it was just breathtaking. For sure a band that one needs to see.
Well the vikings founded Dublin and Cork in Ireland ;) and yes, as a swede i can say our folkmusic is very similar to irish folkmusic. Metal music is basically modern folk anyways. Atleast in scandinavia.

Did you notice that Sabaton used both stages. One with old members and one with current (+Tina) ?
I am not sure, but i think it was the first time "Faster"-stage and "Harder"-stage were used at the same time in W:O:A history.
I was there in 2019 on my first (and so far only) Wacken visit and it was a great expierience. Hopefully W:O:A 2022 can happen (I bought a ticket for 2020 right after W:O:A 2019, but then this virus hit and the festivals 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled).
Old members + Pär. It was a way for those who never got the chance to play at Wacken to do so on Sabatons 10 year anniversary at Wacken. A nice gesture from the band.
I really can’t keep my smile down after hearing the guy mentioned the cello as a big ass violin…
I injured my knee in 2014 on a sabaton concert when they did this song. Needed surgery to remove broken off pieces of my knee cap, im healed now so i need sabaton to come back to UK 😂

Can I suggest that you do a reaction to Hu? They are a Mongolian metal band that does throat singing. . Wolf Totem is a great start. The also did a great song with Litzy Hale (Hale Storm) called Song for Woman that is great!

Absolutely, it is both hilarious and amazing. I first just thought it was funny, now I almost prefer it to the original. Almost.

Tina is a phenomenal musician and composer. Besides playing metal cello she is an outstanding classical player. Hans Zimmer had Tina play a lot on his soundtracks and she also tours with him on his Hans Zimmer Live tours. She composes and plays her own music and plays on some video game tracks.

They have this running skit that Joakim hates to play this song but the band and the audience loves it so he's always objecting to it. But my personal thought is that he loves it, if nothing else for the feedback he gets from the audience when they play it. They love it.
He "hates it" because he feels like he didn't put enough effort into it.
