As a white male I have come to the realization that as a white person, I will always be seen as a racist, and I could care less if I am branded as one or not. Racism has lost all its meaning and it is time that white people across the world realize that. You can be the best white person in the world, do amazing things for communities and you will still be classified as a racist. Just accept it and move on as it has no power over you. White Guilt needs to be destroyed and the only way to achieve this is to be proud of who you are and own it. As long as you treat others well, you have nothing to apologize or feel guilty about.
Mothers too. like it or not history is doomed to repeat itself .When the guy who is running for president says the low paying hard labour jobs that are been performed by illegals are black jobs . Well I get an image on the old south and the cotton fields . I fear he will take the USA back to the past . . His nephew has already described trumps racist actions when he was growing up. He seems more and more unhinged
As a white person, enough is enough. I know I’m not Ray c I s t and am so tired of being told no matter what, I am. My heart hurts for kids these days.
Plese go outside and touch some grass. It ain't that deep. If you aren't racist, fine. But people such as Piers who go off the deep end for being called racist gives GUILTY. People who know they are not such will put no stock in arguing with people about it.
I hear you , the history of 100years ago when injustice was based on skin color is a fact . Those who dealt in such things and profited have descendants . On an individual basis it doesn’t make that individual basist in my opinion . One hundred years later those who fought for a level playing field for everyone has succeeded but now they want to vilify humans of this generation for the acts of three generations ago. That is injustice.
You do realize that code switching isn't anything new. It's literally how most people survive. Until I hear a white person tell another white person "you talk Black" or "you act black" without any malicious intent then maybe that'll be the day black people wouldn't feel obligated to code switching. Just like people would talk to their parents differently than they talk to their friends. That's just an everyday example of it.
As a ‘non-white’ who lived in the US for many years I have never faced racism at all. American people are some of the most accepting people I have met globally.

If an alien from another galaxy visited Earth, and asked: "What are you?" No one would respond with their ethnicity or race. They would say: "Human." If only most people could understand we are the HUMAN race.

I disagree. There are only a few hundred thousand people/humans on this planet. The rest of the 8 billion so called people are nothing more than walking, talking, monkeys. No better and no smarter. Walking, talking monkeys come in both sexes (there are only two, male and female) and every colour and if you want to see who is racist, say that to one of them, without saying the last part and those who call you racist, because they are racist and heard the word monkey and their racist brain, went straight to he said monkey he must be talking about black/brown people. That's when you explain to them that walking, talking monkeys come in every colour and they are the racist for hearing the word monkey and thinking that means black/brown people

I totally agree. I was called the n-word a few days ago by a woman when I was at the grocery store. Was she racist because she used racial slurs? No. She was having a bad day.
My mother was shocked when her longtime classmate & friend of color told her that she didn’t want my brother dating her daughter! Her answer was because it waters down her African race if they were to have children that would be “ half breeds, not accepted by either race!” Not fair to kids lives! That’s hurtful & racist that was surprising to my mother!they are all gone now but I never forgot that conversation & how my Mother prayed for them all since that was all she could do! Yes alot of ethnicities are like that but guess what... Us white people... We don't care if our kids date or breed outside our race ... Yet somehow we are the most racist?
racism is defined as having a negative opinion of someone solely based on race. it's not defined as a white person who doesn't like black people. idk why this is a common fallacy. "it works both ways" is redundant because of course it does! it's just one race disliking another.
@@amandaguidry4242really curious how you feel about how the media is treating Kamala's race? It shocks me that America of all places is just now discovering that mixed race people exist and have the privilege (often) of pulling one of both of their identities when necessary. It's actually not that deeply and pretty natural. I'm sure your kids do it small ways depending on what groups of friends your with, etc. Very similar to how high school girls alter their behavior and/or pull on femininity when convenient. It's a pretty human thing to do and most people that don't have more than 1 tradition in their family don't have to think about it much. The same way Kamala does Indian dinners on certain nights for her family is very similar to how she might drop the "er" in "Better" and opt for "Betta" instead. People who have grown up influenced by black American culture, no matter the color, know this really well. Also she went to a HBCU for 4 years where she was welcomed with open arms into black community. I went to Howard as well, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this (for example, Candace Owens has been saying this "Catholic, gang gang" ever since her conversion. Black "code switching" is something black people and/or people influenced by the culture have done for a very long time... He was a beautiful color black that I had never seen on a human being before I asked him about his home, and I told him how unusual his color was in this particular area of New England. I also had a very Irish, very prejudice of Black people patient who needed a bath, so I decided to send my friend down to give him a bath. The expression on my Irish patients face was a little overwhelming. He saw this gentleman with a big smile and his African accent with kind of a startling effect. He didn’t know what to say they started talking, he was able to give him the bath and they became the best of friends. FMLA FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) was promulgated by Congress, not the unions. It gives people up to 3 months medical leave (for self or family members), or adoption. Whether it’s paid or unpaid leave is decided by company benefits. The unions didn’t bargain for this leave, Congress passed it last not law.
FMLA is great. The issue is that it applies to public sector employees, private employers (but only if they have 50+ employees), and, if I remember, employers with employees in multiple states (under interstate commerce). For the most part, If you work in the private sector for a small to medium-sized employer, it does not apply. That’s where analogous state legislation comes in to play. . . Regrettably, not all states have analogous legislation.

The issue with the voice changing has more to do with people not understanding mixed black culture. When you’re mixed with black or you come from the suburbs, you’re taught that you have two ways that you can speak. Out in public, when you’re around white people, you speak properly. When you’re at home or around black people in order to be perceived and accepted more by black people since we are mixed black people and aren’t really perceived by blacks as being “black” it’s appropriate and expected that we change our voice and how we speak. It has more to do with people not understanding the mixed with black culture. I think that people of mixed race that have black in them, like myself, should just be ourselves and stop trying so hard to be accepted as black by black people because at the end of the day, we aren’t black. We’re mixed race people and that’s okay! It’s great to be mixed! It’s a beautiful thing. We need to let go of trying so hard to be accepted by black people and just be thankful for who we are and let go of that need to be brought into the community and seen as “black.” We’re also expected to totally throw out any other race that we’re mixed with and only claim black as if we’re only black. There’s a lot of things that we need to change in this culture. I think it comes from being treated differently by the black community and wanting to be accepted and it’s passed down especially in families that have several generations of mixed race.
I agree. All Republicans talk about nowadays is trans people ruining everything. There's always got to be some other group of people to put in that other category with them.
Matt is incorrect It can’t be insulting to the intelligence of those people supporting Kamala because if you’re supporting her then you clearly have no intelligence to insult ..
Why do people use the word urban as a substitute for something that is stereotypically Black American. There are plenty of people that live in urban areas of other ethnic backgrounds that don't speak like that and there are plenty Black Americans that live in rural areas that do speak like that.
i agree with you that stereotypes are negative if applied as blanket truth, but to pretend there's not a unique, characteristically black intonation of voice in america is also really ignorant. any person in the country can easily tell the difference between a black and white person on the phone or a podcast 98% of the time without seeing the speaker. breaking it down further, there are definitive differences between new york black, chicago black and definitely country southern black dialects. not racism, just facts.
I’m 54 y/o, I live in the Deep South, and I am Generation X. What does that mean? That means that I did the exact opposite of what my parents did. Our parents still had the traces of racism their own parents had. My son is a redhead. When he was 5 years old he came home from school telling me about his beautiful new girlfriend who was “brown with beads in her hair”. He had no idea he was with someone of a different race. I was very proud of that. In my small way I did my part to take away racism and the majority of the people I grew up with was the same way. It’s as though we have gone backwards with racism. Why can’t we just accept that we have differences that are a compliment to each other. We need each other whether we admit it or not. Thank you for this discussion.

As a mom of both white and mixed kids, that's heart breaking. My kids are accepted everywhere by everyone. This stuff is so stupid.
racism is defined as having a negative opinion of someone solely based on race. it's not defined as a white person who doesn't like black people. idk why this is a common fallacy.
If you watch her last episode (the Schmuley one), she literally admits that she doesn't know why she says it 😂. Well...it's the same reason why Kamala says betta one second and better another. Black "code switching" is something black people and/or people influenced by the culture have done for a very long time...
So again, just really curious how you see this as a white mom who has mixed race children. My inkling is that you've probably seen how this starts and that it's not as problematic as people think.

I also had a very Irish, very prejudice of Black people patient who needed a bath, so I decided to send my friend down to give him a bath. The expression on my Irish patients face was a little overwhelming. He saw this gentleman with a big smile and his African accent with kind of a startling effect. FMLA
FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) was promulgated by Congress, not the unions.

Come on saying that royal family weren't racist Prince Philip was one of the most racist people saying it was good that the locals hadn't eaten someone that had come back from a third world country ok Piers.
We need to let go of trying so hard to be accepted by black people and just be thankful for who we are and let go of that need to be brought into the community and seen as “black.”
We’re also expected to totally throw out any other race that we’re mixed with and only claim black as if we’re only black. There’s a lot of things that we need to change in this culture. I think it comes from being treated differently by the black community and wanting to be accepted and it’s passed down especially in families that have several generations of mixed race.
Want to see the film. All you hear today is racism. Otherize somebody😂
I agree. All Republicans talk about nowadays is trans people ruining everything. There's always got to be some other group of people to put in that other category with them.
Its embarrassing and insulting. Really, if she were to put on blackface, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
No, she will go out and get a dark tan to keep it more real. Lol
Matt is incorrect
It can’t be insulting to the intelligence of those people supporting Kamala because if you’re supporting her then you clearly have no intelligence to insult ..
I read that Trump is questioning the debate group that Harris can't be allowed to stand on a box. She stands 5'2"
5’4. Check out her interview with Katie Couric.
@@asweetluv She said that she will wear 4" heels. But look at the real stats, not what she says.
Why do people use the word urban as a substitute for something that is stereotypically Black American. There are plenty of people that live in urban areas of other ethnic backgrounds that don't speak like that and there are plenty Black Americans that live in rural areas that do speak like that.
Most speak like that. They say be out of context alot, like he be driving, speaking, eating which is ghetto dialect.
i agree with you that stereotypes are negative if applied as blanket truth, but to pretend there's not a unique, characteristically black intonation of voice in america is also really ignorant. any person in the country can easily tell the difference between a black and white person on the phone or a podcast 98% of the time without seeing the speaker. breaking it down further, there are definitive differences between new york black, chicago black and definitely country southern black dialects. not racism, just facts.

I have a dream Kamalla Harris will be judged by the content of her character and not the color of her skin
Why is she playing the race card?
@@pdumpsterful because a lot of stupid people buy into tjat
That would be a nightmare for her PR team lol, her character is abysmal.
Brilliant!
WE ALL LOVE MORGAN FREEMAN!!!❤❤❤❤
A GREAT MAN
I’m 54 y/o, I live in the Deep South, and I am Generation X.
Jessie Jackson was shaking down corporations years ago. There's big money in this business.
Obama changed his accent when he was talking to churches etc in the south - this is nothing new and has been done for nearly 2 decades, come on now
And he was just as fake...
It’s true and it’s still funny
hillary did it too.
It's fake .. people don't like fake. If she fakes an accent it's safe to assume she'll fake policy positions to get elected
My accent changes when I'm around southern people, DC people, and with my black friends. Sometimes it's a natural thing that people do
Seriously how stupid do you have to be to pay someone thousands of dollars to sit in your home and insult you for four hours? And I thought Tony Robbins was a scammer!
Pierce should have finished that clip of Morgan Freeman, where Morley Safer goes on to say that he isn't "white" because he's a jew.
We want to see it in the UK! 🇬🇧
There is racism and there is the TRUTH. The truth cannot be racist. It is what it is.
Piers Morgan Uncensored, great content keep it up dude
Jerry Springer died so somebody had to fill in.
Especially for Trump bootlickers.
Im from Pittsburgh........ The people of Pgh and Detroit both speak more intelligently than Kamala could ever hope to. I find her insulting.
