Banana Cake Bars with Brown Butter Frosting

- These are SO moist and delicious!! The brown butter Frosting really makes them pop!!
Whip some up when you gave extra bananas!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C soft butter
1 Cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 large eggs
3 large VERY ripe smashed bananas
2 t vanilla
2 C flour
1 t baking soda
3/4 t salt
Glaze:
4T brown butter
2t vanilla
2 1/3 C powder sugar
2 to 3 T milk

You know, Karen, I have made banana cake bars before with the typical frosting but never thought of doing it using browned butter. I know browned butter does impart a distinctive flavor because I have made a recipe in the past for chocolate chip cookies using the browned butter method (the Sees candy recipe on the back of the company's chocolate morsels). Delicious. I am sure this is very delicious as well, and I just may try making this. I do happen to have some frozen bananas right now that I am dying to use up.
