It'd be cool if you had a video guide of importing a mod from Ark:SE. I followed the online guide and it imported my folders, but all files are 1kb so something went wrong :P.
I don't really know much about that side of things. I can look into it, but from what I understand about it, I would only be able to port over a mod that I created. Unfortunately, I didn't create any for ASE.
It would be awesome if you could make a guide on how to make a weapon/gun mod. Something simple like that could get people started with their creativity as it will lead them into HOW to mod. Sadly all this video did was show us to the door of modding
Thanks for the video, if you're not going to show how to make a mod do you have anyone you'd recommend watching for that? Also, silly question, do you need to install Unreal 5 for this to work first? I would guess so but I don't recall you mentioning it. From what I understand that is another very large install. Going to try updating my SSD to a larger one today, just got it in the mail as I knew I'd need more space than my 500 gig drive. LOL I have a second one in the box at 2 TB but my OS drive was running out of space so I got another m.2 to replace it. Hoping I can get the drive cloned today without issue. :D
Honestly most of the videos that are out there right now explaining how to make a mod, are for the old ASE devkit. So unfortunately, I do not know of anyone that I could recommend. However, there is a great community of modders that have all been making mods since the beginning of ASE, and longer in some cases. I added the link to the description. As for needing to download UE5 for the Ark Devkit to work; no, you do not need to download it.

The beta is where wildcard will be testing out new features for the devkit. They will not always be in version sync, which could cause you to not be able to publish to Curseforge. I recommend only downloading the devkit beta if you are seasoned modder.

The should, so long as the original creator of the mod chooses to port it over to ASA and make the needed adjustments in the Devkit.

No, the dev kit has unreal 5 included in the installation.

You should be able to as I also have a 3060 and the kit works fine. Though the ram may be a bit low.
