- It’s been a while since my last room tour and the collection has continued to grow, so we’re once again back at Crusher HQ, AKA the spare room of my apartment, for an updated tour of the collection room!
Since the previous collection room tour, the vintage action figure display has doubled, with more retro goodness from vintage toy lines such as TMNT, WWF Hasbros, Real Ghostbusters, Crash Dummies, Toxic Crusaders, Jurassic Park and Street Sharks as well as Retro Gaming, VHS and more!!
Thanks very much for watching, and I welcome all feedback, be it suggestions for the collection room, ideas for future videos or just to shoot the breeze!
This video is aimed at nostalgic adult toy collectors and enthusiasts over the age of 13.

Cheers mate! Hell yeah, back in the day we always kept some tapes handy to throw in and record movies, wrestling, music videos and more! I actually just bought two new glass cabinets so once I get everything set up I'll make another video in this series. Appreciate the support Gazz!

Amazing as always my friend. Love that burst of colour as you walk in. Your knowledge is amazing. Love the Street Sharks and Crash Test Dummies as it's a bit different. @@ScottCrusher By the way, as small the space as it is, you still have good wall space to expand and the other side of the wall area. Although you have to walk side ways all the time! That's what I do! HaHa!

wow! things are looking great so many cool things i fully forgot about ring raiders and the monsters in my pocket so that was cool to see, the memories came back as soon as i seen them.

Thanks again,its a pity ikea don't have the cabinet you have your self ,the only all glass cabinet they have are still still good cabinets but a bit awkward to put together need 2 people to assemble it,good luck with videos,i collect all sorts myself Lego,figures,toy cars,all the best mate
Yeah it's a bummer mate, you go to Ikea and they have just about everything, why not a simple large glass cabinet! Yeah nice, I'm tempted to start getting into Lego myself, love the Pirate sets from back in the day. Appreciate it mate, and thanks for stopping by.👌

I will take that as a compliment! TMNT is a great place to start, even just the first wave of ten figures from 1988... if you look at the complete vintage TMNT line it can be overwhelming!

I would already be collecting - I’ve been watching collecting videos for a while now - but I would prefer to have a decent place to display first. Perhaps I will start with a single cabinet and go from there… I also need to convince the wife around another hobby (I already paint warhammer) haha
@Seraphim2611 Yeah good thinking! My first couple of years collecting I didn't have display space so they went straight into storage... definitely not as fun or rewarding! Oh nice, I used to enjoy a bit of Warhammer myself😁👍

Looking great! Love the VHS art in the entrance, your bull dog is adorable man. love the figure display looks like a toy aisle in a toy store. your turtles collection is very impressive. The wrestling collection brings back so many wonderful memories! WOW! Ghost busters,Dick Tracy & Toxic Crusaders! AWESOME! Loved The Crash Dummies but never was able to get them when they were out. Great VHS and games also man. Really enjoyed the tour. Great job! I am forever a humble fan sir :)

What are the clear disc you use for standing up your turtles and how do you attach them. My collectible keep falling over and haven’t found a good solution for my display. Thanks!
Hey Philip! They're called Star Stands. I assume they're designed for Star Wars figures but they work perfectly with other Kenner figures, and they work for vintage TMNT figures which really need a helping hand to stand!

Thanks very much mate, I appreciate that! The display cases are from a retail chain here in Australia called Fantastic Furniture. They're exactly the same height as a Detolf, they just have extra width which helps, but unfortunately they're not quite deep enough for me to to fit the TMNT Technodrome inside. I appreciate the support mate :)

Hey Paul! Nah, my glass cabinets are from a retailer in Australia called Fantastic Furniture. Exactly the same height as an Ikea Detolf, but obviously wider. Not sure if you have Fantastic Furniture in your part of the world but if so, the model is 'Gallery'. Cheers Paul👍

Thanks Shane, I appreciate it mate! No, I wouldn't think so, the Hasbro ring doesn't quite fit, hence it's sitting on top of the cabinet. Likewise with the Technodrome. It's hard to find cabinets with enough depth to store those larger items.

Thank you! I'm not sure of any regular vintage toy stores up there, but I would make sure you're following Tony from Uncle T's Toys and also Carl from Retro Cartel Collectables. Tony is in the Newcastle area and hosts toy auctions on FB and sometimes opens up his garage toy store for people to come and check it out (I filmed a toy hunt there late last year). Carl also joins Tony for his auctions and sells online. One more thing, in June, there will be a new Collector Con toy fair in Newcastle for the first time. Hope that helps!😎

Adult collectors always have the same toys
Collectors definitely go after the same stuff, hence prices going up, but there are a lot of super popular toy lines that I am not really into: Star Wars, MOTU, GI Joe, Transformers, etc. Thanks for watching :)
