Naples has 4 funiculars, all metro-like. A funicular system with many stations in in use also in Genoa, northern Italy

​@@tigrottoFSHere in Genoa there is also a rack railway with track and gauge (1200 mm) identical to that of a classic two-cabin funicular. In fact there is a central loop equipped with Abt points. Even this railway (called by AMT itself, even in official documents, funicular due to the shape of the track) has numerous intermediate stops.
