Some people Are so ungrateful and have alot of nerve to criticize your nail color.. they should be thankful you take the time to teach & assist so well. Rock that polish!! Love them

I think your nail varnish looks gorgeous, it's really light and sparkly, and anything that sparkles is good in my book x

It's good to know that even those who have been crocheting for a long time have problems with that first row. I've torn out that first row so many times on so many projects. I'm so thankful though that there are tutorials on youtube. Definitely didn't have these when I first learned from my grandmother.

Love the nail polish. It's very subtle and not at all distracting. Love your humor in the tutorials, too. Very real and down-to-earth. Thank you!!

Nail polish is made in many different colors for a reason. Everyone's dislikes and likes are to each his own. You should wear whatever color you like. Be you and don't listen to all the negativity.

Don’t worry about your nails. This isn’t a video about how to paint your nails or the polish color you like! It’s a crochet video and you are doing just fine. Can’t believe what some people complain about. LOL

Didn't get to starting Christmas Eve since I was finishing up a Christmas vest for myself (finished 45 minutes before midnight) but am starting today. I am using all the worsted weights I had left over from all of my differe presents I made this year and am going to make a blanket. Kinda a reminder of what I did this year.

Claire this is an amazing tutorial & due to the volume of projects I've got going on at the mo I'm actually able to resist & start on Xmas Eve!! Can't wait 😊😊 In regards to your nail varnish, well I am suitably stunned that some folk feel they have the right to tell you not to wear it in your tutorials!! I can assure you as I'm a nail tech of some 20 years that the Nail varnish you have worn, either now or in the past is 100% NOT distracting (I can show them distracting nails 😂😂 )& surely folk should be listening to the instructions, watching the project & hook rather than judging YOUR CHOICE of nailwear!! Hahaha! If they don't like it, don't watch it! Simple! Also Claire can I just say thank you so, so much for your awesome tutorials through the year & I cannot wait to see what you have planned for 2017!! Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year from Dundee in Scotland 💙💙💙💅💅💅💅🎄🎄🎄

It would make a fantastic triangle granny shawl! Also have a yarn idea! if you have two yarns that are a lighter weight, but you REALLY want to use them, try two strands held together! I like to do that with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable scraps! I use them paired with a size 3, light yarn. since the Unforgettable is color changing, I pick a light yarn that works with the colors of the Unforgettable yarn! So much fun! If you can imagine it, you can at least try it and see! Awesome Project Claire!

I do the Russian join on my scraps whenever I have a basket full and use my yarn winder to make them into cakes. When I have about 4 or 5 cakes I make a blanket. They look so cute in my craft room sometime I hate to use them.

Great stuff, so interesting and well explained. I'm off to start a "mile a minute" rug but can't wait to do the "scraptastic granny" too. Fun never ends and you've helped me enormously Claire .. thank you so much for such information and enjoyment. By the way - how can we avoid the "chain" look on back of solid X square when slipping to corner to start new row?

Pretty pretty I love hand dyed yarns from my LYS this is my year for stash down for sure! But I wish all mine were hand dye yarn. I think this year 2018 is definitely the year for granny square projects especially with the return of the Rosanne show and the iconic crochet granny square Afghan. I’m going to be a vendor again this year in a local Christmas connections fair I’m starting now having lots of stash Bustin projects this year. Oh this makes me want to find all my hand dyed scraps ❤️❤️ I love your new videos too I’d love to make two cakes to tango haven’t had time. I’m finally getting ready to move to condo after being in the same house 25yr. God it will take ages but I’ll finally have my own craft space yay 👏👏

I'm watching your scrappy blanket tutorial. I think you should wear nail polish. I love to watch the brightly coloured nails.
Love your tutorials, I'm a newbie. Leighhan Behrns told me about you.
