Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame-ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
You have a great public speaking persona. I had thought maybe you had prior military experience dealing with people, speaking and instructing. You are very personal and informative. Keep up the good work and congratulations on going a great job. 😊
Totally not interested in starting a UA-cam channel, but a very interesting and informative video. Currently at the NRVTA. I would like to see you film some service calls and what you come across in the field.
Congratulations! We found your channel from the water heater video! And you have helped us fight through fixing a handful of things on our new to us camper. The previous owner was not very honest about it. As watching this video, it's funny as our channels are the complete opposite. I have been struggling to get to 1k subs however in the past two years I've gotten 5.1k and 4.7k watch hours. And just like your water heater video, I also have a video that stayed around 400-600 views and then two years later its at 30k views. You just never really know how the algorithm helps you out. Keep up the great work! And we will keep watching you, to help us get our camper back to 100%.
Loved the video Emily! I started a channel but needed income and you tube seemed like a good idea but to long to get there so I landed a job retrofitting the main electrical systems on MCI buses and then went to school and became an electrologist, oh the winding roads. I realized that UA-cam can be a source of income but these days it's more of a side hustle than a true living income, so I appreciate your perspective, it reminds me I made a smart move. but..... I miss the road so I've been watching your channel and thinking about going to the school and doing both RV repair and Electrology while living full time in my RV. Right now I'm doing the pro home study rv course so I can decide if this a possible route, so thank you for sharing your knowledge and honest perspective!
Perhaps you could consider explaining the choice, use and benefits of Dinosaur Electronics control boards as a replacement to OEM boards for water heaters, furnaces, etc. Thanks for another great video.
Great job. I'm a contract employee for our county, also a LV 1 tech. Going to school in Elkhart to complete my LV 2. Love watching all your videos. Entertaining and informative. Thanks Don
Yay! Good for you, Emily! You are doing fantastic! Your content is evergreen and will always get you views! Editing is the most significant time suck, and using an editor will work great for your content. I'm rooting for you!!
Emily, you found the perfect business, your channels is awesome I love how you explain things you make it simple and interesting and fun. Please keep it coming I know you are going far with your channel and your content is amazing. Thank you from someone who wish I had your talent, you are a natural.
You Go Girl!! New to RVing last year, have learned very quickly, one must be a mechanic keeping the rig going. Service shops are soo backrd up and remote service (both reslly) are just not affordable for us. I have lesrned that these rigs just are not designed and built with genuine Quality in mind. Had a water tank leak caused by an too long fender flare attachment, stairs that hangup 'hard' because boltheads being too tall, and terrible caulking. Your videos are a life saver, and your insights with the channel and business are like no one elses. I wonder if you've considered monitizy a tech support line where one could call for help with an issue, or just advice how to chose the correct whstever you would like to a rv? Being a electronics engineer, i have built some devices and systems no one else has done that i know of. Some of these could be a cool RV video ideas for ya!
hello emily, came across your channel a few weeks ago, good job keep it up. i will be quitting my job/career after 34 years its time for a change in my life and will be attending big red in april of 2025, over the winter i did the online course on witch helped me alot already and i already bought my service van and continue to stock with service parts that commonly are needed for repairs, got my EIN# and business name already along with shirts and logo on the van, i figured while i make good money now get everything started so once im done with school im ready to go and dont have to worry about to much, your start up video was very helpful, also i have two friends that went to big red as well and are doing great and have gave me alot of pointers already, actually one of my friends was an intern at big red too....well good luck in all you do
Congrats on making some cash! I have a few appliance repair and maintenance videos. They bring in good money. As much as I like that, I also love the fact that I have saved people thousands upon thousands of dollars. I'm guessing your channel has done the same.

I just found your channel and subscribed. What great information, and you have a real down to earth personality. Thank you, and good luck.
A big part is how much of the ad gets watched, the whole 15 second ad, or 30+ seconds of longer ads.
That's great! Your RV tips shorts are very helpful. I'm going to be trouble shooting my hot water heater tomorrow😊
You and hillbilly RV have become my favorite rvtech videos. Real life stuff. Congrats and keep it up!

Congratulations! Love your personality! “You can do this” - 100,000 subscribers! 😊

Hell yeah. I can only help so many people IRL, so the idea these videos can help a bunch of people I can’t reach day to day is awesome.
A question: When I hit the “Like” button, does that help you with monetizing?
Do you see you videos shoot up during springtime hits?
Where are you located?
