We raced moto and the starts are so important it looks like here as we’ll need to throw everything at it to make sure you are at least top 5 in a big race like this good job guys
It's coming Bud... hang in there. My car owner told me during the our first year in IMCA mod, back in 97, "son, sometimes you gotta slow down a little to go fast".....
Good job Chase. I love me some Sprint cars and have all my life.. my brother Danny drives one now and I pit crew for him. I think Chase would be good in a Sprint car. But you can put Chase in anything and he'll drive the wheels off of it.
Dad you’re doin the right thing on set up the car doesn’t need a bunch of drastic changes small adjustments is the way to figure out what the chassis likes car looked good 👍
Overcharging the corner , he about runs them over getting in and then everyone drives away from him off the corner because he gave up his drive over driving getting in . Jussayin'
Just to make this field of cars is a win in my opinion especially for a rookie team with a thin notebook! I understand you got to be hard on yourself to keep getting better but I hope Chase is happy with himself and understands that the real OG dirt trackers realize how good he is doing against the best modified drivers in the country
Driver has to be able to tell crew chief what the car is doing , crew chief has to take that information and make changes. You can watch a car and think its doing one thing when inreality the driver is making it appear that way. Driver HAS to tell what the car is doing !
Been a hott minute since I've Looked in on On the Holland Crew Yo dude You Done Growed up Bout Taller Then Ya Pops NoW CUZZO lmao Good Luck on the remainder of yaws Races This Year I will make sure I Watch and root Yaw On when I got the Time too Chilax
You’ve got a closer knit team and a stronger family team did just about anybody out there. I’ve been watching you guys for quite a while and I know in a team and a family there’s arguments but lean on each other and trust each other and I’ll guarantee you you guys will be a force to be reckoned with.
But thats not happening there is something missing . 🤔 you can tell chase don't want it as bad as he says. You can tell when he races when he wants it and when he just rides around and like he don't give a care in the world . He has a chip on his shoulder that dad or momma squirl needs to knock off . When he got out if that heat race you can tell how pissed off he was .
Chase has all the talent he needs. Looks to me like the set up man would rather run in the back all the time instead of allowing someone that's at least half decent at setups to setup the car. How many nights do you have to miss the setup before you understand you obviously aren't good enough at it? Listen I love y'all! It would just be awesome to see Chase run where everyone knows he's capible of run! Thanks for the video
Chase, you’re still young you’re just starting running with the big dogs keep your chin up things will get better. Once your notebook gets deeper you see what the other drivers are doing. I got faith in you man.
Looks to me like the driver wanted to show the crew chief who was boss by sticking with the loosing line. Has to learn the chief predicts the car and track and makes adjustments. His job is to find a way to win with it.
Nice run. Looked to me you did a great job moving around finding bite. Ran high, middle and inside at different points in the race and moving forward. To me it looked like you ran a smart race. Bringing a clean car back to the hauler. Nice job!
They have been there before so they should no what the track does and changes that need to be made there butting heads and you get what he gets a but whooping everytime they race . Trust is the key for both of them chase does not wanna listen to dad and vise versa . You can tell chase don't want it anymore . Alot on his mind .
@@Bearded_chris_wisconsin Wow, you must be getting subtitles or mind reading info that I am not privy to. Making a lot foregone conclusions that there is no evidence for. Why not just support them, maybe even leave a suggestion or two, but the drama assumptions are borderline hater comments.
You guys did an awesome job all weekend. The track has went through some clay changes this summer so it was a little different then last year. Once Chase found the line of running higher in 1 and 2 and low in 3 and 4 he was moving forward pretty good, that line has been fast all summer for the most part. Good job guys
Great job Chase. You keep doing what you're doing and this old man will keep watching you get better every race. As far as the haters go. Well I won't say what I really want to. But just ignore them. They have to criticize someone 😊
I don't think he wants to race anymore you can tell when he wants it and when he doesn't Tim Nash almost blew his doors off when they raced he had 5 car lengths at least until the car didn't like it anymore because of the crash he was in chase got lucky a d won . If Nash didn't have that accident it would of been a different story. Says alot when a guy gets plowed in the back and still comes to the front and almost wins the race .
Chase needs to figure out how to make what he has work, he keeps looking for this perfect set up that doesn’t exist, every other driver on the track has something they don’t like about their car but they just find a way to make it work, and until chase realizes that he’s going to struggle, I promise if you go ask the front runners they will tell you that they have gone through the same thing, but Chase is still very young and will learn, but when is the tricky question
Good run Chase. Team member jobs work well at a higher level of racing where you have a large number of crew members, but when you build a team from the ground up and all that Chase has ever known is being able to come in and tell Dad what he feels and what would make it better, you are cutting the legs out from under one half of the race horse. Big changes take time and patience, if they are good changes to begin with. No judgement here for either side, but never take the team aspect out of the team. Love you guys and I have been here since the beginning. Again, great run/comeback Chase, in a very competitive field.
they have always been able to qualify with these guys its once they get around cars in race trim they struggle. got to get more speed around cars. Chase can go put a lap down but in the race hes struggles to find speed around cars
Well all in all that was a great run at Cedar Lake. The one thing I gotta say though is it looked like Chase could drive the car deeper into turn 1 and get a much better run coming out of 2 as seen in the B-Main(Video viewing fan perspective, could be totally wrong). The feature was so full of dirty air for the field you really would have needed a good starting position. The car really came alive in the second half of the feature though.
you did good but the idea of being a rookie is to learn and watch what the other experienced drivers are doing. Forget aboout wandering around tell dad what needs to be done then go watch video of what the other drivers are doing on the track.
Easy fix to this. Chase wants to make chassis calls, let him for 2 weeks with no argument. Next 2 weeks his job is to be the driver we all no he is. 30 years racing and I thought the first couple I could drive and set up. Then I started to do my job and dad made all the calls except tirers. You learn fast how to drive what you're given. And change your habits of saying it doesn't feel right. Drive it differently then to make it . Kyle Larson doesn't set up his cars, he drives them. Chase has the potential to be a top contender any where he pulls into. You "CHR" are going to get there no doubt about. 👍
Middle to high in 1&2 car looked good on entry and seemed to not react or over rotate through the middle, on the bottom he had good drive and car looked balanced. Through 3&4 the middle line he had drive out the back no one else had. Stopped making forward progress when he dropped down in 3&4. Overall it was a good drive and the track I’m sure changed a lot over the course of 40 laps. The only change I would have made to the car was slightly trying to square it up to keep it more in front of him. And not rotating the car so much from middle out to lose forward drive entering the straight.
Hello TEAM!!! Mr Holland I was also wondering why Chase didn't at least try the upper groove I heard Chase say everyone was in the bottom if your just following try something else obviously it wasn't working driver should listen to the crew chief he won't nail it every time but your Dad seems like a very good dad put your heads together and that includes the team and work out plan you all are knowledgeable and have a bright future stay positive and soak up all you can go get them and most important believe in yourself
I just don't see how it worth all the hard work a toter and stacker and another motor home dragging it across the country for that kind of racing Yes I know the USMTS is the tuffest modified of all but hast to the hard in the end I'm not questioning no one's talent no one's lack of work none of that been here since ard 4K sube sharing and liking it
Just my opinion, but I think that once Chase's maturity catches up with the equipment and the teams hard work ethic the results will start being there.

I think chase has to much on his mind . He is not into racing as much as he was . He is getting his butt wooped every time there out . But my question still is the beginning his usmts season they were winning heat races and taking to 5 after that fell apart and getting there butts wopped !! They have been to most of these tracks they have notes . Cedar lake hasnt changed its fine in the qualifying dryer out in heat races and features that track is not what it used to be back in the day before 2000 .
