Great video David! From what I have learned, the ICE1 sets have two power cars top and tail. The ICE2 sets have one power car with a DVT with passenger accommodation at the other end. This is because the ICE2 rolling stock, although looking much the same, is much lighter by design, therefore two locos are not required. And ICE2 sets are often coupled. BTW, I could be forgiven for thinking that the Taurus has a passing resemblance to the 'one-off' BR class 89.... but it's just an opinion.

ICE2 has functional scharfenberg couplers in the noses of the power head and control car, with automatic doors. ICE1 power heads also have couplers, but they are not for operational use (think towing by a loco) and the door is a simple manual hatch. Also, the restaurant on the ICE1 has a higher roof, a "hump"

Great video for me that am starting on german rolling stock trainspotting to get familiarized with fleet recognition. Hope to visit that country one day. Thank you for sharing.

A nice compilation! The ICE 2 from Munich to Hamburg will be separated in Hannover, the other half will continue to Bremen

As I already mentioned below the other video, alex and trilex are sub- brands of Die Länderbahn - which is a regional operator owned by Netinera - which is the internalional subsidiary of the FS. I think that first alex train had Chech coaches becaues it was going to run to Prague.
So the Bayerische Oberlandbahn runs to Holzkirchen and beyond, the Regiobahn runs around Aougburg/Ingoldstadt. The Meridian service runs to either Kufstein or Salzburg. And yes, the Meridian trains are indeed Stadler FLIRT.

If you have a Dovetail Games employee with you at Hackerbrücke they would actually be looking for the other trains since they already made this in train simulator world 2 as HMA München Hbf Augsburg Hbf. The following trains that Dovetail games employee is looking for are ÖBB1116 & 1216 ÖBB Coaches ICE 1 ICE 2 IC Cab Car DB BR245 DB BR612 DB BR628 DB BR445/446 DB BR218 DB BR411 ICE-T DB BR412 ICE-4 & DB BR440.
