@@flyfishuniversity111 I want to learn more about still waters. Both high alpine and bigger reservoirs. We have some great still water (Spinney, Antero, Delaney buttes) but I’ve always been a river fisherman. I tie a lot so no problem filling a box. I could use some help breaking down water and game planning. I have a canoe which is a terrible fishing boat but it’s a boat at least! Funny about the Avs. I’ve been a die hard Canucks fan since the 1994 playoffs. I’ve got no issues cheering on the Avs though against Edmonton especially!
I caught the biggest fish of my life today. (not counting channel catfish years and years ago) I am not sure how big it was, but it was at least 6 inches from spine to belly, and I measured it 22 inches. It made my flipping day! I caught it on a blood worm on a Daiichi 1870. size 8 wrapped in medium red wire with a pink hot spot band at the 1/3rd mark. I do not know what tippet size it was since I do not buy that 30 yards of tippet for 15 bucks, I buy 4lb flouro by 150 yards for 10 bucks at walmart. =)
Loving the channel my friend. Glad to see all is well!
Thank you my friend!!
Just found your channel. Love it! Any online education coming up that a dude in Colorado could participate in? Thanks!
Plenty!! What’re you looking for in specific?
PS. go Avs!!

Do you have any ideas where I'd use this lesson in my home state of Oregon...I live between the Mckenzie and the Williamette River in Springfield.
