Talks about the trout “Gorgeous bass” 😂 Roland always has bass on his mind lol Up in southern Ontario I started off fishing for bass but than I found out how much more fun it is to catch northern pike and musky! Such a great fight. Love the channel Roland you taught me how to catch my 1st bass with a senko…thanks for always spreading your wisdom!!!
I fish for bass so i don't know but Guy said the stocked trout tasted different and not in a good way. said bodies were soft from being at the hatchery pool. But that was 25 years ago.
The stockers usually don't taste the same as wild Rainbows where, I live in Oregon and even the color of the meat is different, but they're both fun to catch
I catch wild raised Wisconsin Browns and Pond Stocked Rainbows. My experience (Eating them) was the stocked rainbow trout meat was a little denser... Not tough, but tougher than the Naturally raised Brown trout. The wild raised brown trout meat is always soft, flaky perfection! Makes me want to go get me a couple. Cook em up with some Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Has me saying "Whew Son!"
@@AviatorGM I like eating the little native brook trout but they are tough to catch in a small brook.shadows or step to hard near the bank and they will not bite again for hours.
Everyone take note on how to handle the fish. Wet your hands in the water first especially and limit your time of contact. Getting sunscreen etc on the fish is not good.
I can watch his videos for hours. Amazing man with an abundance of knowledge.
AMAZING! You always know where to find the big bass.. I mean trout!
I was litterally standing there at the hatchery yesterday... This is a special place in MO

Nice tour and guiding again Spencer. Another beautiful video Roland!
Luar biasa semoga selalu sehat dan beraktivitas dengan bahagia pak
so cool
Using a net really helps. Every trout fisherman should have one because trout seem to be not as tough as bass
Not the first U tube video I have seen fishing this same place.
That's awesome
I went to Bennett springs. Only caught one.

@Roland you need to go to Maramec Park in St. James.... that's the best place in Missouri. Keep up the great work!
