Craig is my dad. He been doing this his whole life, these are the things my childhood was full of. I have children of my own now who love the beach and now after seeing this video want dadcu (granddad) to take them.
nice! he seems to know everything there is to know about this stuff
Ceri Evans dadcu? is that a word of Slavic origin or it is just a coincidence that it sounds like one? :)
No it's Welsh for grandfather
Ceri Evans
Is your dad welsh
When i was young I discover a secret spot that had lots of crabs, fish, shrimp and clams. A few months after going there someone purchase the lot and make it into a loading lot for cargo boats and my spot was gone but those memories still live in my mind. I still remember filling 2, 5-gallon buckets of fish, crab, shrimp and clams in less than 1 hour and having a seafood feast for my family later that evening.
:( im planning to save up to buy land but im only 13 atm but its very pricy
Those were the days.
What a wonderful memory!
The best things in life are free
Wow amazing life for sure, where was it ?
there is nothing more satisfying than foraging up some delicious free seafood. great video, i really need to get back out and do this more often.
The amount of life is just incredible... ;-;
*throws starfish*
ray the person LOL IKR
ray the person he could hve just placed it down
yeah but they fly so well
lol
Since he threw it shouldn’t it be called a falling star
Manny ...you are my soul mate ...I used to go to a place in Northern Ontario with my late father...I was a kid an d I called it our exploring place. I used to find 🦀 crabs, frogs 🐸, tadpoles, snakes 🐍 and turtles 🐢! I threw nth Dads ashes into those rapids six yrs ago....rest in peace, Dad....you’re my rock...
Nothing could be more fresh than those seafood! Your ocean there is really bountiful.
*cough* “Your”
Is’t really their?
Yes it is
The abundance of that place is amazing
loved the underwater shots ! keep up the videos this was really interesting to watch never realised how much you can find at a beach
I love these videos. They always put me in a good mood.
I learnt a lot of this on a course in the military many years ago, great vid.....
I would give Anything just to spend a day with you guys! I literally Love Every video you make and a day we'll spent that could never get old with me...... Thank you for all the Amazing Videos and the education they bring to us....... God Love ya God Bless ya
Me too!
Yep same. But the only problem is that if they threw the seafood it will hit my face :P
Kris you are one great video maker/story teller!
That was the most relaxing, interesting and delicious video I've ever seen on foraging.
I did exactly that when I was kid. I enjoy you video immensely!
Loved it! Wish we were there with you guys. What fun. Thanks for another great video. Blessings.....
Very nice glad to see people taking the time to eat off the land and taking care of the land. Very nice
With all that free food and the world still believe that there is no God😔? Thank you Father for the sea and land that provides food for your people. Awesome video, Love from New Zealand 💖
There's no god, only nature.
OMG. The broth in that pot would be so good that if they had noodles and some more vegetables it would be a very good tasting noodle soup!
Martin Martin wait u haven't had like fish soup or any sea food soup dish before? Try it, it's good
Van JoshElanium even add some spicy pepper ...yum yum
I def would not be using that "broth." Maybe just maybe if the seafood was clean thourougly with clean water. Most of those things are bottom dwellers. Roaches of the sea.
Van JoshElanium Hotpot anyone?
True for my mom but I hate seafood. My mum adores it
I enjoyed your foraging, I live in Canada close to the mountains in BC. What good teachings your friend could teach land lubbers like me!
It's like going to the grocery store only it's FREE!! 😍😍😍😍😍 TFP!!
good change of pace video.
I enjoyed it. Thank you both for sharing.
So lucky to live near such a wonderful place. I've seen your video on the house you built. Always been my dream to do that...buying my own land. I envy you.
Very nice video love it thank you guys enjoy!
I love your videos! Thank you. They are so informative. Lovely😊
Brings back memories of clamming on the mud flats of the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia when I was a kid. We soaked them overnight so they would expel the grit.
that was great! the net time I'm at the beach I'm gonna try and find some of those animals and plants. i didn't know you could find all that. thanks for sharing.
the way he threw the starfish. 😂
Adriana M its not funny and your a devil
Its most likely dead
Starfish are very tough so I'm sure it was fine, but that's no excuse to throw it! These guys have no respect for the sea life.
He threw everything. That happens when you have people that were not brought up to respect the ocean. They're kid of careless, harmless though.
Maybe some one should pickup the dumb fuck and throw him on the rocks.
Wow. Awesome video Kris and Craig.
yes yes craig and kris the foraging boss men, love you guys
Absolutely brilliant video lads! Very informative....And looked like you had fun!
Wow, food everywhere!
Sheer awesomeness! I love to watch your channel which is so relaxing, keep up the good work and thank you!

Free food, great. Please more of that!
Fascinating, I'm off to try that here in New Zealand & video. Loved that log fire, and you have another sub.
Omg! My mouth is watering
Looks amazing! Great job
Thanks for sharing. I live in Michigan. It’s late October and cold. I’m sick, laying on the couch and wishing I could be there too.
I remember being on holiday in either cornwall or wales and we saw these jets of water squirting out of the sand, we investigated and found cockles! took no more than we needed back to the caravan and cooked them up with some white wine, garlic and onion. good times 😊.
It all looks so interesting, but I might never get to try it 😅 Hi from India!
very nice area a lots of sea foods love it
Very interesting, man need not go hungry if he knows where to look..
Amazing! You made me hungry for sea food! Keep the vids coming
Love watching this!!
Wow..amazing..😃👍✌
Great videos mate, I have just subscribed. I really enjoy your approach to this subject, no nonsense, light hearted and you my friend are a natural teacher who can easily capture your audience from start to finish. Greetings from Australia.👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻
I always feel hungry after watching your videos lol 😆
I’m not sure why these videos are so addictive but I’m stuck watching his whole channel...
Love the gentle Welsh accent.
We are visiting Pendine and have loved foraging down the beach so far
I enjoyed watching your videos with Mr Evans! And I am so happy to hear that he would be conducting courses soon, he would be fantastic teacher! I just have to find out how to get to him. (I live halfway across the globe in South East Asia) :)
Very entertaining. I wish I were part of it.
It make me smile when he put the seaweed in the stone. Hehe
"The amount of life is just incredible" *yeets starfish*
Wow! From the US you are very knowledgeable!
Amazing vid❤ I love seafood❤
We boil those shell fish in 7up or Sptite it gives a nice sweet taste to those clams and crabs as well you should try it thsnks for sharing your video 👍
Never tried that one, I'll have to give it a shot. Usually when I steam this kind of stuff I'll do it in a mix of water, beer and a splash of vinegar
I could live in that place forever😍😍😍😍😍😍
Oh yum!! What a great trip with some faaaabulous free seafood! Thanks for taking us along!
You really love those star fish
This looks so delicious!
You've come across so many sea creatures! Amazing
Wow. So satisfying 😍
Just wondered where you were . Looks like theres loads of wildlife there Great vid too. well done
Discovers a new species. Crushes it with his fingers
Dana Commesso ya that pissed me off. Why did he have to tear it apart.
They also just toss things back instead of putting them back where they found them when they weren't eating it.
Dana Commesso oh my God quit your bitchin
Dana Commesso 😂
He destroyed those welk eggs for no good reason too. He will learn to appreciate this sea life once it's all gone.
What time?
Where in Wales are you? I have always had a fascination with foraging. There is so much we can supplement our daily meals with. I love the trick with the razor shells.
Mmmm. Wild veggies. And if you are willing to get a bit wet, there are plenty of sources of proteins on seashore. Such a productive, beautiful area :) Please - never let industry and big scale tourism destroy it. It would be irreapairable loss.
I look forward to learning about this approach on the Pembrokeshire coast.
There is so much to be foraged if you know where to look like craig dose.
That's great and you have a bottle of beer to pair with the seafoods.
great video! keep up the good work
Looks so good.
Really fascinating! Looks delicious:-)>
I love this video! Even if the shells i can find here in the freesing could Baltic sea is smaller then a fingernail and probably not edible, even the starfishes will freese away during the winter season here, but i hawe not tried those small clams yet...
But i made a soup of ants and some leaves, it was at least as good as anytinhg from the supermaket.
That video was WICKED I loved it and I love at the end how they served it up on the rocks. Was it boiled in salt water I take it.
The cockle clams look sooooo good
Whats not to like , thanks for sharing
Videos are great. Keep them coming please
Wow so good place
Wow I want to do this, collect and cook on the spot!
