I had already watched Eric's review last night but enjoyed yours to. Lionel still has some of these on thier website. Im fighting the urge to get one. Its everything in one. A locomotive, frieght and passenger car.

Funny you mention that Frank. I was running it last night and it started not working correctly. I have it on the bench for evaluation? Running the Doodlebug alone and looks really good.!😊

The Doodlebug is very nice but I think it might be pulling the nicest looking freight consist that I’ve ever seen. Very well coordinated paint schemes. So cool!

Thanks and Happy New Year. 😊 Sure, I’m using Walmart black poster board carefully cut to size. I’m finding though that the rubber tires from the cars leave discoloration/dark spots when I move the cars around periodically. Other than that it works well and makes it easy to change things around if need be. 👍🏻😊
That is so ironic, because I am using the exact same thing for my layout roads as well! - Carefully cut out Walmart Black Poster Board from their crafts department which literally is located only 1/2 mile away from my home so it's an easy purchase. I have about 40 1/43 scale cars and busses on my layout that all have rubber tires; but so far ( 4 years now ), they haven't left any noticeable marks on the poster board. @@markslioneltrains
