I use to work at the old ride back in 2015-2017. Good memories but happy to see a change.
My kids loved the old darkride. So many memories. Im glad the are at least redoing it. We can't wait to see it!
Looks Amazing, glad they upgrading the whole area. Next up Wild artic needs some love, How about a darkride or Flying theatre. The park needs a weather proof attraction.
SeaWorld can't do darkrides or motion simulators. They only know rollercoasters.
Sorry, SeaWorld entertainment is allergic to those.

Why did they closed to old ride
From what I heard (not official) is they didnt put the old ride cars on a battery tender when they shut down for Covid. After years of being unplugged and unattended, the batteries were junk, and too expensive to replace, so they decided to take the opportunity to make a new ride.
A staff told me that it was lacking a sponsor. Although i've heard MANY rumors about that one. My belief is that theyre just allergic to dark rides@e1
