I took my girlfriend to see the play for her birthday as a surprise, she loves horses and I love folk music, perfect mix. We had tears from relief just getting there in time for the start after getting stuck in traffic but we were in floods of tears come the end. One of those plays you don't even bother hiding your emotions. I'd love to go see it again, the artistry was perfect. I can't honestly think of a play that comes close.
This song always gets me, and I'm surprised it's not that well-known to be honest. War horse was a beautifully made film and I would love to see the play.
I really wanted to see this play as a kid - it used to be at Lincoln center and I remember seeing the commercial for it on TV.. If they ever start another production I will be front seat ... They need to promote theater more instead of these horrible people stars/rappers.
Beautiful song this one. I sing it to my beloved Clydesdales 'Patrick' and 'Saxon'. Patrick was the 'model' for the puppet 'Joey' in the play...The play is fantastic.
Hi all, it so moving to see this, as i havnt saw it just yet! but im so moved, and have a small tear!! Bob fox if you read this your voice is so spectacular!! its a honour to have no you and to meet you at the chapel arts centre bath, and Anna and i are so looking forward to hearing your voice again soon. kris.

The play is way way better than the movie
Nothing could ever beat that play

“Time is a storm in which we are all lost.”
William Carlos Williams
cried when i saw the play
i love the play and I love the movie and they're both fitting adaptions of the book

Tim Van Eyken has a sublime voice.

in the description i feel the same as you i just got tickets to see war horse play should be amazing and this is a great video
Forget the movie, it was dreadful. The play is awesome!
Wonderful work!
I like how you mixed the movie-parts with the musical. Fits perfect
those robot horse things as you put it are the puppets in the stage production of war horse .
They're puppets used in the stage performance, It was easier than getting a horse to train and react to cue lines on a stage
Is there a DVD of the theatre production of war horse?? Thanks
This video is beautiful
Unfortunately no. There is one on the making of it tho. I got these clips from UA-cam :)
Bob Fox isn't singing this - it's Tim van Eyken.
i agrreee but the book is the best ever
The play is a thousand times better than the movie, trust me............
