You can make it so the zerglings get 0 kills. Have the zerglings go through a huge maze to reach the cannons at the center, while the cannons are constantly firing at the Zerglings as they go through the maze.

Did zerg have any research? For that matter, did protoss? Zerg seemed to be 0/0 with no upgrades, but they may have something i dont readily see
