I was at that show on the balcony. Best show ever! For the people who say it was a bad crowd.....no way! It was the most intimate. Like a jam section. And this video doesn't do justice for the sound. I know i was hypnotized.
Good recording. It was an awesome show. I was about 10-15 seats to your left and within 2 or 3 rows. (I was on the end of row M - Orchestra Left Center.

Apparently a lot of lip syncing going on - he doesn't even move his mouth at some points, at other times the vocal track starts before the microphone is even near him. If you're gonna fake it, at least be convincing. 2:06:51

I dont think hes lip syncing, if you notice his mask is moving up and down while singing those long notes indicating his jaw moving up and down. It does look like the timing is off, but that could be from a number of variables. Ive seen them live twice and pretty much in the front row with a close view of him and never noticed anything nefarious.
I could be wrong, it legit looks like it to me, though perhaps the backing vocals are carrying more of the chorus stuff, thus allowing him to come in later on some of those parts. Either way, if he is or is not (and some artists on long tours need to chill their vocal cords for a night or two), I may have come off harshly. they are certainly an entertaining band and they put a lot of energy into their shows.
Tobias has said in the past he has had to use tracks to facilitate a lot of their stuff including the vocals. However, he is now able to have backing vocals and extra musicians live. The mask also limits his lip movements. If you watch any other papa up close you can see this. If you look even closer the super bottom pink lip is his actual one. So you can see where his face is meeting the mask. Very little movement. He doesn't use tracks nor does he lip sync.

I saw them two years ago at a venue less than an hour away from this. Grant it, everyone was stll just standing around but at least those fans knew the words to all of the songs whereas Scranton/WB, PA crowds are known to generally be dead
I'm not sure you even know what music Katy Perry sings. Ghost's newest album is closer to that of Scorpions and Blue Oyster Cult while their first album is similar to Black Sabbath's music.
