Great job again. No need for pneumatic tools, slowing remove those important bolts. You are awesome 👌

Thanks 👍 I have never been one for anything other than manual tools, unless I really get into a jam.

wow im so used to working on my 4.3, the 2.8 literally looks like a baby version of it. those intake manifolds gaskets are a weak point and when they blow, coolant will leak into the valley and get into your oil. thats what happened to mine.

I'm having to turn up my volume to hear you talk, then turn it down when you start playing the music. Idk how or if you could balance the audio to where the music isn't so loud.

Thank you for the feedback. I hadn’t noticed when I was doing the editing. I was recording with a tripod which is something I typically do not do. Definitely will keep that in mind for next time. Thanks again! 👍🏻

Get rid of the smog stuff, you don't need it. My s 10 doesn't miss it.

Thank you for the advice. Did you leave the pump, or did you use the pulley from (I think) an Isuzu and different belt length modification? I was thinking about just leaving the pump and being done with it.

I was hoping to see where the ground wires ere located coming off the wiring harness , It shouldnt make a difference =im thinking = but for some reason after doing a motor replacement / 2,8 tbi i cant get fire to the cab - if i take off the fire side starter wire and use gator clips from the battery it wakes up the beast but running a jump wire kills it = any suggestions or pics

I had to smack mine a couple of times with a dead blow hammer and a pry bar get it it off. Not sure when mine was last removed, but it was a pain in the butt. Good luck!

I don’t think I have had this issue yet….give it time lol….but my voltage gauge does not work properly. Did you check it with a voltmeter or just going off the factor gauge? I plan to add aftermarket gauges down the road to better track the different readings.

@@oldirongirl yes I checked it with a voltage meter and at idle it was showing 16 volts and then at about 1200 RPM it jumped up to 24 volts I think I may have a short but I'm not sure I really don't know where to look I don't know anything about the electrical
