@@tylerstacy5901 if you can find one at a junkyard go for it. It will be cheap!!! I don’t really know what year you will get. But you can always put an electric fuel pump. After that it’s he exact same engine.
That sucks, I'm looking for a cheap running 2.8 just to put in truck while I rebuild the factory numbers matching engine, mine has a spun bearing at 147k, I bought it like this, seems someone like to hot rod it cause clutch is about gone to, but it's all original gm body and is 99 percent rust free, counting the under body
Hopefully when shop MAGS my block it checks out ok, I found a motor luckily right down the Rd with 117k, and another one with 200k that has everything on block with 5speed for 300 bones, the low mile motor, the guy is out of town for couple days so I have to have patience, gotta work 12s anyway so don't really matter, lol
Yeah! Sweet, crossing all available things that can cross🤞, hopefully we have some luck! I will definitely check ya out and hopefully this summer were cruzing
Some of your " I'm don't knows " are answers found in a repair manual. Just saying. The injection connector disconnect from the TBI and MUST go back to the same as removed
Ok sir. The first thing I do with these little engines, get rid of all the TBI crap. Throw an intake on it and a 390 Holley. Or maybe a 500 2 barrel. 👍
I can't wait for the rest of the rebuild. That's what I hate about when cats sit for a long time, the seals go bad.
I hate to keep commenting. But you really need to check out what I’m doing with a little 2.8. 👍👍
I subscribed. What video should I watch. My block is cracked should I just buy a new block
@@tylerstacy5901 you have no choice. You can find them every where.
I have one sitting here. Complete engine. Needs complete rebuild. As far as videos. Pick one and watch!! 👍👍
Would you recommend me to buy one out the junkyard or just buying a new block

Should have pulled the dog house, what I'm gonna do to mine, but I'm cleaning and painting my engine bay while I'm at it
That's what I want to do. But I need to get a new block cause mine is cracked

Keep it up
whats rebuild kit you used for engine?
In my later videos I end up showing why I couldn't rebuild it. The block was cracked so I'm just going to buy a remain engine or possibly a v8 swap
Put a 4.3 v6 in her
You have to change the harness. I will be better off with a V8 swap them
