Hello, great video on metal spinning. Quick tip. When you're using the file, lube the file with chalk or soapstone. Just rub the chalk on the file, and this will help prevent the file from loading up with metal.

Thanks Don for the suggestions. The stiffener is a great idea that I will try.

you need to get the metal to lay against the chuck form the very start before you go too far towards the edge but you got it in the end anyway

Use A Axe Handle with A 40 Degree Saw Cut in the End of it. Lube the Metal. Then use the Axe Handle to pot about A 35 Degree Bend in the Outside Dia. Of the Metal. This is called A Stiffener. This will help to Stop Rinkling the Metal. Most in portant in Spinning is to get the Metal Tight on the Form Block in the Beginning. I have Spun Metal Ranging from .010 Aluminum to .040 Titanium or Inconel. I called the Hard Metal Fire Spinning.

If that Trim Tool is Flat on top. Grind at least A 30^ Relief Angle On it. It will Cut better.

You need a Slower R.P.M., and get what You call the base tight on the Form Block.
