I don't know how many KMs you have on your NT but if it's anything close to 200,000 I'd recommend you look at replacing the in tank fuel filter. It's just a small screen that connects to the bottom of your fuel pick-up. They notoriously clog up and cause fuel starvation problems, ask me how I know lol. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix costing about $35 for the filter from a dealership. You can access the top of the tank through the inspection panels under the driver side rear seat.
Thank for your share. I wanna ask a question. I have bought my pajero/montero last year (2005 model). When I check the filter sensor it was changed who I brought from. Old one is broken. He put a new sensor (above the filter) but plug is different so it’s not plugged in . Original one is (broken) on my hand. The question is if I cut the cable in the middle and tie old one (for plug) is it work?
Good honest simple instructions well done
Thanks for sharing. I now feel confident to do this too.
Go for it!
Well done, keep emm comming

@UCi3YIwdU812nTONvkQcU8RA yes it is. I don't have a 3rd row at all in my NT so I say rear seat by default lol.
It would make a good video too
Yeah I'm at 192,000 I think it's a good idea to change it soon thanks for the reminder:) might look into this week

Am having trouble getting the sensor off the bottom of the filter. Any advice?
Yeah I struggled a lot the first time I did it. I ended up putting it into a vice/ claps to undo it.

Sorry I wouldn't really know mate I would say u will just have to buy a new sensor online then you know u won't run into any problems in the future
Thank you!
can i ask what type of wrench do you use to remove the fuel filter sensor cause i cant find the write one
Yeah I couldn't find one big enough, I used a clamp essentially like a big spanner it worked great haha

Fill with petrol when it’s a diesel.
