Another instant classic. Could watch you work with wood all day!
Thank you El Pres!
Nice job done!
Thank you!
Nice job. I also like that you left in the part switching to taping when epoxying and having to trim the rail spikes.
Thank you. I gotta show the whole process and that includes the mistakes/corrections.
Wonderful design. It has a very professional look with out being too out of reach technique wise. Thanks for the video!
I’m glad you used ear protection when applying the stain. Better safe than sorry
Ya, a lot of hacks out there don't realize how loud applying stain is. It's around 100 decibel
Beautiful work!
Nice job. A syringe would have made less of a mess with the epoxy. I just use construction adhesive in a tube.
Great idea!
Very nice coat rack. I plan to build one for my daughter. What are the dimensions of the vertical board? Thx again
I dont remember what the height came to, but the average height of a coat rack is around 60 inches. Adjust to suit your daughter's preferences.
What stain was used? I like the colour.
I used a dark walnut stain from minwax.
@@kramerdesignco Many thanks.
where did you get the rail road spikes
They are scattered along train tracks. I scooped em up.
are those 2x4's used for the base?
Yup, that's right
wouldn't a lag bolt be stronger then a dowel ?
Either or. Both sufficient.
Should’ve left it natural wood with varnish
Yes, that would look good too. Client wanted a stain
