Recently picked up a pmc 05 cheap but the line faders were crackling, being a bit of a noob at sorting fader issues was running out of ideas after using air and contact cleaner to no effect, followed these instructions and worked a treat, stoked! Thanks for sharing this.

I can go over it and how it's done for sure. Might be getting another one soon, so could do a whole build

Great video! Was wondering if there is a way to repair a cracked steam that has broken off where the fader cap sits on?
    TIA!

Hi brilliant video. As you mentioned when using the lube not to get it on the track and the brushes. Couldn't you rub a graphite pencil over the track and use the graphite as as dry lube? Keep up the fantastic work.

Hello bud, really enjoyed the video, I'm wondering if you could help me with a vmc 004xl I recently bought? I just need help with a quick rundown of what I should be doing to clean it and stop the fader bleeding signal

just cleaned my faders with your tutorial, thanks a lot! One question, maybe you know - my moving part (the one with brushes) looks a bit different in PMC05Pro2, has a silver metal part and number 31. I've noticed varying types of this part in other people's videos too, any clue if you can translate it to production date or get any info out of it?
