Mines like butter. I cover my tables and mixer with a sheet when I’m done to keep the dust off and out. Have not had to do repairs but great how to video.
Just picked up a rane ttm56s. Went to do fader mod with spring like on a 57sl and realized it doesn't have a spring. How do I lighten the fader on the 56s?
for info: you can touch the sensors with fingers or a screwdriver, that's do nothing. you can bend them a little ,for a shortest cut in ,it's an usual mod ;) Peace!
yo Digits, can you provide a link or something or spell out the brand of that fader lube, tried searching it but can't find it I may be spelling it wrong. thanks
I'd definitely power off my mixer first and unplug the power before doing this, just a suggestion :)
First thing I thought. WTF?
@@phooka where can i buy this? Do you have a link ?

self magneto i need this mod in my life lol
which way do you bend them to sharpen the cut, towards the middle of the fader or out to the edges? Can you bend them too far?
towards the middle of the fader my friend and dont force too much or they will break ;)
Peace!
self magneto You push the hall sensors outward for sharper cut in.
no, inward.
Will this method works exactly the same way w the volume faders?🎚🧹🎚🧹🎚
They are the same faders so yeah

search for "caig lube deoxit", even just "deoxit" should be enough ;)
Unplug your mixer before doing something like this. And why are you using your 1200s as a workshop table?
Should've cleaned the PCB before reassembly. That thing was dirty af!
i was just about to say this! The first 3 words of the video are "How To Clean" ??? :D
it drove me NUTS to see him NOT clean the rest of the fader!!! The board, the sides the contacts PRIOR to putting it back together....Ugh
