The border was open under Trump as it has been for decades. "Open Border" has nothing to do with physical barriers. It has everything to do with CURRENT LAW: the fact that we have to hear asylum claims, give the claimants court dates, and release them.

A professor who successfully predicted many presidential elections in the past actually believes that the current president has a good chance of winning.President Biden reminds me of the former pastor of St. Brendan's Church of Bronx, New York. Several years ago, Fr. Raul was nominated as the pastor of St. Brendan's Church of the Bronx, N.Y. There was a 24 hour lower church that he closed. Now the upper church is not open as much as it used to be. He closed the bathrooms using covid as a justification. He stopped the film series, using the pandemic as an excuse. In addition, he placed barricades between the pews which make the place feel more like a museum than a church. Even though there is a funeral home nearby, he stopped the church calendar. He stopped the Tenebrae masses. He avoid showing up for confession and uses another priest often. If I ask the priest Fr. Perez a question about God during confession then he may say that I am disrupting the process. He is available by appointment only even for the deacon. The pastor avoids saying sermons for his daily masses and saying "Body of Christ" when giving the Holy Communion. He has avoided answering theological questions. He also avoided going to masses and events done by others in the parish. Yet this pastor got renominated. In a similar way, President Biden could get reelected too. My daughter will vote again for this president no matter what he does.

As many outright lies as Biden had in that speech, I do have to give him credit for being far more coherent than usual. Just in this clip, he responded pretty well to the crowd's opposition to this bill. Normally, I'd expect him to be completely detailed, but he did remain on track.
There were other points where he started mumbling and he speech got pretty confused, but I expected nearly the entire speech to be that way.
Still, Trump's rebuttal to it was far more coherent. Remember when Democrats used to bash Trump for talking like a child? Well, that seems to be largely in the past while Biden's speech is often that of an elderly, dementia patient.
Anyway, as much as I can't stand Biden or any Democrat, this speech wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

What are you talking about? Biden was clear and was quick to respond to Republican hecklers. Yes, he has a stammer. He's always had a stammer. That doesn't make him sleepy, it just means he has a physical disability that in no way impacts his ability to lead the country.
And you know what? He's like this pretty much all the time. He is very sharp. Trump's speeches get more and more confused with endless rambling. If you listen to him speak a couple decades ago, he was clear. Now he just says whatever idea pops into his head even in the middle of another idea.

Whether he believed it or was outright lying is up for debate. But every politician lies. The difference is how much, and about what. I would much rather have a guy that stretches the truth about inflation over the guy who lied about an election to try to stay in power.

The will of the Father is in John 6:39-40. Start from verse 22 of that section which is the beginning of it to let Scripture interpret itself.
Salvation is free yes but he wants us to live right as well so we won’t go through a lot of unnecessary hurt in this world

Technically speaking, repentance(metanoia) means a change of from unbelief to belief; salvation is not based on our own merit, and there is nobody in this world who has zero fruit or works, because God works in people and uses everyone as He wills. I’m that passage He says “I never knew you”, not I used to know you or knew for a period of time. So, there isn’t anything that points out once saved forever saved is false or that belief isn’t enough.
