I grew up watching these Christopher Lee classics! He is by far the best "Prince of Darkness". Thanks for the great video and thank you Christopher Lee for sending chills down my spine on a late saturday night!
Christopher Lee ,Peter Cushing and Vincent Price, the best classic horror film actors to hit the big screen, they didn't have any of today's special effects, but they frightened a lot of people.
In the role of the immortal Count Dracula, Lugosi may have been great but Lee was magnificent...May this noble & dignified British film legend rest in eternal peace...Christopher Lee (1922-2015) 🎬......
Yes he was wasn't he you job my memory when you said that as I know that both Christoper Lee's birth year and Nosferatu movie release was in 1922. But did you know that Ian Fleming the writer of the James Bond novels is a cousin of Christopher Lee.
Great sets, great acting on a low budget. That was the genius of Hammer Films. Let's hope the new Hammer will emulate their golden years. Most of their actors were of the Shakespearean stage variety.
Absolutaly one of the bests Dracula movies ever made, Christopher lee is an excelent Dracula man , no one is better. And this is about after the movie The Horror of Dracula if you ask me.
i agree - a friend and I watched a C Lee Dracula movie - can't remember title - but it freaked the heck out of us - halfway through we opened up all the curtains and started looking for garlic and silver crosses !!
I always thought of this as possibly his most painful death. Not only was he stabbed with a blunt object that went through to the other side of his body but with it being a giant cross I will burn him inside and he can't touch it to remove it so he has to endure a heck of a lot more pain than just being stabbed.
The (blood)sucker took a long time to die, didn't he? My favorite Chris Lee as dracula film was the first that began it all: "The Horror of Dracula!" Both Lee and Peter Cushing made a great pair in the Hammer Collection of Horror!

We love DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, and we're screening it at year's SHOCK IT TO ME! classic horror film festival at San Francisco's Castro Theatre, October 5th-7th -- with special guest, actress Veronica Carlson, in person!
ur welcome, i love this clip though lol, when i first watched this movie and the cross stuck in the ground i just KNEW what was gunna happen! Dracula was gunna be introduced to it lol
@shirtgod Yes! Lee and Cushing made a great acting duo in the Hammer films! And the women who played the victims of Chris Lee's Count were drop dead ( pun intended) gorgeous!!!!
You must be talking about the Dracula movie with Bela Lugosi. The first film Christopher Lee did was "Horror of Dracula" and it was the best one he did. I would rank this one #2.
nah the films wernt bad at all!! they were classics! but i have to agree with you that Christopher Lee played the best Dracula! No one else would be able to play him better than him!
@sunshinesuperman9 You know what? The fact that a horror film (and I happened to find this one) got a "G" rating made me want to see it. I also agree with your other comment that it would be PG-13 today. I was surprised to find blood and gore in a G-rated movie, especially this scene. Today, there's no way that you could show impalements with bloodshed in a PG movie, let alone a G rated movie
This is where the Christopher Lee Dracula Hammer films should have ended with Dracula being given the HOLY BANISHMENT. It would have ended it as a trilogy.
@Tornado600 The reason for this is simple. In recent years, the ratings have expanded to include children's films. Back then, G meant "General Adult Audiences", which is roughly equivalent to a modern PG or PG-13.
@BonzoGal1980 Except the films were great. excellent acting, great gothic colorful sets, serious take on the subjects. All on a modest to low budget. What's not to like?
lol yeah and the look on Draculas face at 00:15 - 00:16 as he goes off the edge is like "SHIIT" lol, and also the part where Dracula grabs paul from behind and throws him towards the edge ya can see that he looks really pissed off by the way he throws him lol
What do you think of Frank Langella's Dracula? I think that he gave Dracula a much sexier edge in his 1979 movie. I thought that it was just....for lack of a better word...intoxicating.
bozo47p Our creature feature used to air on Saturday afternoon, usually a double feature. That ended up being the main topic for discussion at Sunday school the next day. At least until the teacher changed the topic for us! LOL!
Dear friends, I'd like to ask you I liked so much Christopher Lee's performance was perfect. Now my doubt is : Do really vampires exist? If so, then would you like that Dracula were still living? and would you be ready to help him in the creation of his kingdom in this planet?. Because I notice you love him;then consequently you will like to become into vampires. Yes or not?.
if u think 0.08 is evil then pause it at around 0.06-0.07 the anger look on his face! and i think all lees dracula movies are brill!! he played the best Dracula out!
Too bad he only had a few lines in this movie.. it's sad how they never allowed Christopher Lee to develop the character, nothing like Robert Quarry with Count Yorga...
Never have seen a vampire movie where praying was a necessary requirement in addition to driving the stake. But then again, this film would have only lasted about a half hour if it wasn't.
Mark Tarr Good point! They should have done more with all the characters especially Dracula It would have been so much better if Paul (there's always a Paul) had met Dracula first and not known. Just my opinion
Mark Tarr And technically at the end of that film it wasn't a wooden stake at all! He fell and was impaled on that massive cross! And then the fallen priest prayed...
The best Dracula ever known no other plays the part so good ...Christopher Lee 👍
Christopher Lee was the best as Dracula indeed. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
The best Dracula ever. Thank You! Hammer Horror. R.I.P. Sir Christopher Lee.
Christopher Lee is my all time favorite Dracula!!! I wish I could have the pleasure of meeting this incredible man! God bless Christopher Lee.
I grew up watching these Christopher Lee classics! He is by far the best "Prince of Darkness". Thanks for the great video and thank you Christopher Lee for sending chills down my spine on a late saturday night!
This is the best looking of all the Hammer Draculas. Great James Bernard score!
My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to this great artist, Maestro Dracula always remember his films
Christopher Lee was by far the best DRACULA of them all. R.I.P.
James Branton, I’ll call it a tie with him and BELA 🦇
True
The best Dracula I´ve ever seen.
I was a kid when my mom took me to see this. RIP Christopher Lee.
Great. One of the best Hammer Dracula movies with the great Sir Christopher Lee.
Thanks alot for uploading
Christopher Lee ,Peter Cushing and Vincent Price, the best classic horror film actors to hit the big screen, they didn't have any of today's special effects, but they frightened a lot of people.
AGREED
the best vampire movies with Christopher lee and Peter cushing...
This is one awesome movie. A classic. Oldie but GOODIE. Love this one. A solid 10
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I watched this when I was like 3-5 years old. Crazy.
In the role of the immortal Count Dracula, Lugosi may have been great but Lee was magnificent...May this noble & dignified British film legend rest in eternal peace...Christopher Lee (1922-2015) 🎬......
Did you know that Lee was born in same year that Nosferatu was released as a movie?
Yes he was wasn't he you job my memory when you said that as I know that both Christoper Lee's birth year and Nosferatu movie release was in 1922. But did you know that Ian Fleming the writer of the James Bond novels is a cousin of Christopher Lee.
+stretch4859 i did not know that good information
the end when the credits roll gives me the chills.
Tyler Corelli, hopefully good chills sir. The Our Father in Latin and the church ⛪ bells are unforgettable
Great sets, great acting on a low budget. That was the genius of Hammer Films. Let's hope the new Hammer will emulate their golden years. Most of their actors were of the Shakespearean stage variety.
Dracula has that "Ah Man" expression at the end.
Night Gallery was one of the most 'scary' series ever. Thanks for reminding me I will look for it.....
My favorite part is hearing The Our Father in Latin, just beautiful along with the Church ⛪ bells.
may you rest in peace in heaven christopher lee we all miss you and love you
Cristopher lee el mejor dracula de la historia igual que johnny weissmuller en tarzan
The best!!!!!!
Poor Christopher the film companies always gives him shocking tearful deaths.
He was the best Dracula ever. The one and only 🐲
R.i.p Christopher Lee
Love the Song at 1.59 min
With us or not Christopher Lee is still the Man. Nobody can play that part like him.
RIP Christopher Lee
The best actor in macabre!
I believe that Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee was two of the best draculas.
ha ha good old christopher lee he knew how to scare us sadly missed
Well, he's out for the Count...
randomdave30, good one man🤣
I always thought of this as possibly his most painful death. Tru dat. Lee had the best gig in the world. Show up, get dressed, and play Dracula. Bela was great, but Lee nailed it every time.

Can any one upload all the Dracula full length movies?
the prayer is the "the lords prayer" in latin :)
oldie but a goodie
We love DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, and we're screening it at year's SHOCK IT TO ME! classic horror film festival at San Francisco's Castro Theatre, October 5th-7th -- with special guest, actress Veronica Carlson, in person!
Rated G Everyone!!!!!
ur welcome, i love this clip though lol, when i first watched this movie and the cross stuck in the ground i just KNEW what was gunna happen! Dracula was gunna be introduced to it lol
@shirtgod Yes! Lee and Cushing made a great acting duo in the Hammer films! And the women who played the victims of Chris Lee's Count were drop dead ( pun intended) gorgeous!!!!
Titan52berg, I never had the luck of meeting either one of these 2 great actors, my all-time favorites
You must be talking about the Dracula movie with Bela Lugosi. The first film Christopher Lee did was "Horror of Dracula" and it was the best one he did. I would rank this one #2.
Imagine if the guy playing the priest pronounced those latin words wrong, LOL. He would've accidently summoned a demon from Hell.
I watched this when i was 10 years old in 1987. Still not finishing the whole movie and won't watch it further. Too terrified.
nah the films wernt bad at all!! they were classics! but i have to agree with you that Christopher Lee played the best Dracula! No one else would be able to play him better than him!
The best Dracula ever...
I don't care how bad the films were, Christopher Lee IS Dracula.
The films were good.
Also featured Rupert Davies who was a very good Inspector Maigret in the early 60s.
When the two of them were fighting they were at Dracula’s castle but in credits it shows his castle on the mountain
I never imagined he died that way.
is rated G
Christopher Lee forever! he always made you scared.
It should be entitled 'Dracula Has Risen From The River' because he rises from a river - not a grave.
0:19 ooooh
That must have hurt like hell.
Well, a "watery grave" is still a grave! "Dracula Has Risen from an Aquatic Burial" just doesn't have the same ring, you know? ;-)
Vortigern99, don’t forget the ending from Horror of Dracula 🧛♂️ the first vampire 🧛♂️ film from Hammer Studios
@sunshinesuperman9 You know what? The fact that a horror film (and I happened to find this one) got a "G" rating made me want to see it. Dacula has risen from the grave....and he's three quarts low.
This is where the Christopher Lee Dracula Hammer films should have ended with Dracula being given the HOLY BANISHMENT. It would have ended it as a trilogy.
Remember rated G
@Tornado600 The reason for this is simple. In recent years, the ratings have expanded to include children's films. Back then, G meant "General Adult Audiences", which is roughly equivalent to a modern PG or PG-13.
How old is this thing?
This is not the best Dracula's film by the Hammer, but any of them have something interesting. Hammer have a kind of image world that is incredible.
Did the priest lay down to rest or die?
FOREVER THE BEST DRACULA....SIR CHRISTOPHER LEE
In Taste the blood of Dracula the screams were more agonizing.
Ron Delby Ironically, the start of taste the blood of Dracula is the ending of this film
Christopher Lee and Bela Lugosi.. the best. .
Bela Lugosi set the image of an old, creepy romanian count. But Lee was bad-ass. Just look at his face!
I liked the first one, the one that's black and white, better, even though it's older, it's still scarier.
Espectacular Cristopher Lee lo maximo
I like the effect where his eyes are just black pits.
I love this movie
Do you know what that means in english. I am curious. Thanks.
@BonzoGal1980 Except the films were great. excellent acting, great gothic colorful sets, serious take on the subjects. All on a modest to low budget. What's not to like?
Watch out for those metal crosses, dude.
thing is though it went through his heart :) if u look at it properly
Paddlock castle doors who the hell will brake in there 😂
The impaler impaled!
yes i agree
At least Draula came back for a sequel...
yeah its the lords prayer in latin
MrW19, just BEAUTIFUL ✝️
Yeah !!chris was the best Dracula
lol yeah and the look on Draculas face at 00:15 - 00:16 as he goes off the edge is like "SHIIT" lol, and also the part where Dracula grabs paul from behind and throws him towards the edge ya can see that he looks really pissed off by the way he throws him lol

*steaked* AHHHHHHH!!!!!
What do you think of Frank Langella's Dracula? I think that he gave Dracula a much sexier edge in his 1979 movie. I thought that it was just....for lack of a better word...intoxicating.
He was good but I thought the film was anemic
Friday night creature feature... good old hammer films with Christopher lee and peter cushing ....these guys scared the shit out of me
bozo47p Our creature feature used to air on Saturday afternoon, usually a double feature. That ended up being the main topic for discussion at Sunday school the next day. At least until the teacher changed the topic for us! LOL!
ha ha me too
in vampire films this days a cross burns a vampire instantly
@Tornado600 Granted, the actual impaling was off-screen, but you still saw someone who was impaled, and would not be G rated today.
Strange, where's Veruca Salt's dad?
Dracula is saying...Gimme some loving.
Dear friends, I'd like to ask you I liked so much Christopher Lee's performance was perfect. Now my doubt is : Do really vampires exist? that strange moment when Dracula id the one getting impaled
But the cross did not burn him in his impalement
where can i obtain that cape
i love it to death
Dracula rest peace My Friend i love you always
Too bad he only had a few lines in this movie.. it's sad how they never allowed Christopher Lee to develop the character, nothing like Robert Quarry with Count Yorga...

i was about 12 years old when i saw first Dracula movies, and i always hated that he lost to van helsing and had to die
Then you came to the wrong films.
man, my back is killing me.
The only film I've ever seen where a wooden stake didn't work!
Never have seen a vampire movie where praying was a necessary requirement in addition to driving the stake. But then again, this film would have only lasted about a half hour if it wasn't.
Mark Tarr
Good point! They should have done more with all the characters especially Dracula It would have been so much better if Paul (there's always a Paul) had met Dracula first and not known. Just my opinion
Soesnt have to be wooden
A stake through the heart is enough to kill Dracula
Brian Lloyd Earlier in the movie it wasn't enough...
Mark Tarr And technically at the end of that film it wasn't a wooden stake at all! He fell and was impaled on that massive cross! And then the fallen priest prayed...
poor Dracula :(
Esses filmes antigos do Dracula são os melhores
