Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were two true gentlemen. There were many big stars who were there in person or offered congratulations through film clips, yet Christopher and Peter were the closest of friends throughout their lives. Aside from his immediate family, I feel Peter's attendance meant the most to Christopher. Its touching to see. Two great talents very much missed.
I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man when he flew into the airport that I was working at the time. A true movie icon and for the short time i was in his company i really felt i was in the company off movie greatness. Christopher was about 92 years old at the time and i have a wonderful photo of that meeting that I often look at with great fondness.
What a wonderful tribute to a man whose career spanned decades and who was a one of a kind. He really represented tall, dark and handsome back in the day.
Christopher Lee happened to be staying at a hotel in Iceland in which I stayed for a couple of days. We had a chat at breakfast one morning, what a charming, knowledgable and intelligent man.
Who is watching this, in 2020? Such class, such astonishing good looks. I have to blink away the tears. To think he lived so many decades after this show... right up to The Lord of the Rings, movies.
Christopher Lee, Pete Cushing, Vincent Price and the bad boy Oliver Reed all in one room..If i had a fantasy inviting legends for dinner then these guys would be on my list
The Lee family looked liked very charming people.. This video really reminds me that you can have a great family and terrific friends. But sadly time marches on and such great people will all pass away. Live the best life you can with the time you have left. 👍
I share my birthday with some amazing horror film actors, that I can remember sneaking to watch as a kid in the middle of the night, as I loved scary movies even at a very young age. I can remember being 5 and having the biggest crush on “Dracula”. ❤️🧛🏻♂️
I've also found Christopher Lee an intriguing person and a bit of a mystery, highly intelligent and fluent in several languages, there's a presence, and a dark mystic and aura about him......that deep rich voice , dark features and tall stature ,..if ever a person was born to play the Prince of darkness himself Count Dracula he was ,.but my all-time favorite film of his ,.is :....The Wicker Man
Chris Evans I just found out today that he played in The Wicker Man after reading up on him. And after hearing him describe it as the best movie role of his career etc I’m dying to watch it. I only hope I can track it down. He was a legend as an Actor and as a Man. There is not another person that can come close to touching his life if they had 2 lifetimes to do it.
The war helped shape him. Though officially he was listed as "support", he was in SOE, a secret unit. When a director said to him I want you to imagine somebody being stabbed in the back, Lee's answer was "I don't have to imagine!" He knew the true face of war.!
Three of my cinematic heroes-Christopher, Peter and Vincent, all incredibly intelligent, articulate and genteel. Dear Oli Reed (much missed also), on his very best behaviour, visibly touched by the event.
Great British actors in their prime whom I remember from childhood. All gone before me now but my memories of their great works and the fond respect I still have remain with me.
One of my very all time favorite actors, the great Charlton Heston, paying homage to one of my other very all time favorite actors, the great Christopher Lee. Have the biggest smile on my face right now. God Bless and Rest In Peace both of these fine gentlemen.
There's a great deal of love and good feelings toward Chris Lee, this is a world I was born into but has since passed away and it was a pleasure to see this again after many years
Watched this guy as a kid play Dracula, become Saruman from my most favorite book LOTR. Our society now doesn't have a place for this type of class anymore.
When Oliver Reed, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price turn up to show respect, you know you've done something right.
You're so right. And Oliver showed up SOBER. Now that's a huge deal.

Watching in 2024 ❤
His autobiography is fascinating. Such a plethora of great actors. Mostly sadly gone now.
Christopher Lee, Pete Cushing, Vincent Price and the bad boy Oliver Reed all in one room..If i had a fantasy inviting legends for dinner then these guys would be on my list
zak iqbal these guys would be first on my list of dinner guests. What a party that be!!
Agree.
A interesting fact about Trevor Howard he was actually dismissed from the army because it was believed he had psychopathic tendencies.
He WASN'T "PETE" Cushing to anyone!
I want to be there.
This is brilliant. I love seeing Christopher’s face when he sees his old buddies for the first time in years. What a class act
The Lee family looked liked very charming people.. This video really reminds me that you can have a great family and terrific friends. But sadly time marches on and such great people will all pass away. Live the best life you can with the time you have left. 👍
So many stars sadly missed including this guy
Absolutely
Yes
I like all of christopher lee's films also the best Dracula ever.
Did his own fencing without a mask: wow even more of a legend. Didn’t realise what a big guy he was.
Just doesn't pay enough tribute the our hero. Could have been 2 hours long. Can't begin to articulate how highly I rate him
I share my birthday with some amazing horror film actors, that I can remember sneaking to watch as a kid in the middle of the night, as I loved scary movies even at a very young age. I can remember being 5 and having the biggest crush on “Dracula”. ❤️🧛🏻♂️
Oh lovely to see my mom. She looked so beautiful…she loved working with Christopher and Peter!
@@mlandry21169 I hope you got to watch The Wicker Man, it's a highly respected and loved movie here in the UK
An absolute beautiful gracious man, what a lovely smile, we always saw him so serious!
That is an amazing show and an amazing story about an amazing man with amazing friends.
God bless Christopher Lee.
Christopher Lee, he was so handsome.
All the big names are great, but to have your family around while it happens is the real joy i would think.
Found this by mistake but couldn't stop watching absolutely platinum UA-cam video amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
CHRISTOPHER LEE AND VINCENT PRICE, THEY WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST !!!!!!!! WONDERFUL VIDEO !!!!!!
Different times, superb talent, Christopher Lee! wowza! xxx
Different era, when gentlemen actually stood in the presence of ladies simply to show respect 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Indeed Peter and its a fast disappearing gesture.
There's a great deal of love and good feelings toward Chris Lee, this is a world I was born into but has since passed away and it was a pleasure to see this again after many years
...and actually the best Bond villain ever... and the most convincing!
Absolutely fantastic RIP Christopher Lee .
Brings a lump to my throat
Lee
Cushing
Heston
Reed
Price
Macnee
Valerie van Ost,
Davis. And Eaamon Andrews.
All passed on.
R.I.P.
Time marches on, it worries not.
So much Class and Respect. Christopher Lee. Peter Cushing, Vincent price. Oliver Reed. Cant get much better than that.😊👌
All of them together on one stage. Is just brilliant.
Watched this guy as a kid play Dracula, become Saruman from my most favorite book LOTR. Our society now doesn't have a place for this type of class anymore.
Thumbs up just for it being my all time fave vampire; Christopher Lee. ; )
I watch this vídeo infinite times... And i am not tired... Peter, cristopher and vincent ... Masters among masters... All my respect to them!!!
This is priceless and Mr Price in the end ..mind blowing!!
