- This tutorial is for users of Premiere Pro. We produced a Kodak 2383 Film Emulation Presets for Premiere Pro after receiving numerous requests. It’s called the "Kodak 2383 Power Curves". Please note that these are not the same as our 2383 Power Grade. Power curves are for Premiere Pro, while power grades are for Davinci Resolve. In the description below, we've included a link to Power Curves.

Thankyou for sharing such a great tutorial and insight! Actually, before I buy it.. I need to know how your workflow for the color correction method. Since your REC709 footage are great already (even "film look" before you put the emulation).
For example, if I use and import an S-Log2 footage, do I need to convert it first with "S-Log2 to REC709" on Input LUT before Color Correction.. or just import it > Color Correct it > then put the 2383 emulation without put an S-Log2 to Rec709 conversion?

I still don’t understand why people grade in Pemiere Pro. Davinci Resolve is much more powerful and it’s even free software. On top of that it’s almost used for every production in the film industry.
Probably hobbyists that are used to what they know :)
Most don't have time to learn resolve and the ones that do don't really produce that much better results.
Majority of our audience requested it, that’s why.
no professional colorist graduates in premiere, we understand that it is a company that sells luts to make believe that with that alone the neophytes will achieve a degree in cinema. they are pots of smoke

Let's create a simple Lut in Premiere pro give it a different name apply it to footage shot on high end cameras, then charge idiots $75 haha lol wow!!!
Plain ignorant of what’s going on in the video. Lol. It’s not even about LUTs. And 2383 LUT has a history. We recreated that are giving that for free. You can google “2383 free LUT, Colorist Factory”

@@DrL33productions We are giving the same LUT for for free as well. It is the power Grade and Power Curves we are selling. LUTs and Power Grades/ Power Curves are two different things with different set of applications
