- The University of Idaho holds a candlelight vigil Wednesday in remembrance of the four students who were killed at a home near campus in Moscow on Nov. 13.
Maddie’s dad poor thing he tried to keep it together an you can tell she was his world ❤ god bless these families.
He just broke my heart. He was worried about speaking yet his words were so heartfelt. God bless their souls. May they be a lifelong reminder to young people everywhere to be safe, be kind & to live in peace & joy.
His only child.
You could tell he's really hurting. I'm sure he's not normally one to be a public speaker, but his words were right from the heart.
Just thinking about it makes me cry! Why? Who decided they had the right to end these kids lives?

Maddison’s father was so nervous to speak and yet his speech was the most heartfelt, for me. It was real, passionate, and unplanned. My heart is broken for all, but he really got to me.

Praying for all the families. Maddie’s dad did a great job he need no worry. Sharing how happy he was that his daughter had love in her life before she left this earth made me smile. That they both treated one another with kindness made my heart warm. It’s so good to be able to be thankful in this moment of grief. Maddie was his only child.

I pray for their Spirits to find Peace in the Eternal Light,and for their families and those two roomates to heal and find comfort during their loss to feel the empowerment of love these beautiful humans left them with. Madison's parents are among the most kind hearted people I know, both going out of their way to make me feel welcome in their lives after Ben became my step brother. My memories of Madison are mostly when she was a child and visiting her grandfather, my step dad. I know that she was surrounded by love in how she was raised and was innocent in her knowledge of the evil that too often lies in the heart of mankind. Let us all remember to show love to one another in the time that we have in this life. Let us also remain vigilant and learn to recognize and fight evil.
That's so sweet. This too is my wish after this horrible crime, that we all try to love one another and show kindness, not hate, to one another. There's just too much hate these days. I keep telling my grown adult children all the time, to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings, lock your doors, etc...Evil exists and we should never let our guard down. I used to be so gullible when I was younger, I honestly believed that everyone was good!
I don't worry about this because everything in the end will be alright for everyone, since after we die, we never feel any pain for all of eternity since we will cease to exist and thus, be exactly the way that we were before we conceived. The result is that everyone eventually has a happy ending since no one suffers after death and will thus be free of pain for all of eternity

I am watching this beautiful vigil from England. I send my deepest sympathies to the families and friends of the victims, as well as the Moscow community. I have daughters, 18 and 20 years old and cannot imagine the deep pain of such a loss. Rest in peace Ethan, Xana, Kaylee and Maddison. Lastly, I pray for justice to be served for the loss of these four bright and beautiful young lives.
It's taken me a while to pluck up the courage to watch this. How a heart can break for people you've never met who live 5000 miles away, is a testament to how the worst of humanity can bring out the best. The families have so much love and support around them. If only it could bring back their babies. My heart goes out to each and every person affected by this senseless act of evil. I pray you have justice. RIP kiddos 💖
That's how I feel. I was them at one time. Carefree living the college life. Partying on the weekends. Never in my wildest dreams would I believe anything so horrible could happen in our town. Just as I imagine they couldn't. Rest in peace beautiful angels.

I know that broke my heart. I wish a friend or maybe even a professor- someone who knew her personally could have spoken about her. I totally understand the family but being able to. I couldn’t imagine the pain. I know it doesn’t mean she was loved or cared for any less, and I think wherever she is she understands and knows that too ❤

What an outstanding group of young students, teachers with families and all others attending the vigil. Exemplifies how much Vandals care about each other. This has been so sad for people all over the world. Four bright lights not here on earth but their lights will never go out in the lives of so many. Extend lots of love and compassion to each other. With deep caring.

We are watching in Australia, this has been on all our nightly news. Our Teens are talking about this, worrying about this too, from across the miles. All similar lovely Teens doing the same things as these lovely students we're doing. We are thinking about all the Parents and Siblings.

This event is so tragic. Life is so precious . Evil is in our world. Unfortunately we cant see or know it in advance, My heart breaks for these young students, their families and their friends and all the students in Idaho.
Oh yes you can see it in advance if you know Jesus and his word warnings are all in the word of God you just have to read it and understand with listening and your eyes!!!
Not sure why but finding out just now that Ethan was a triplet broke my heart. Multiples share such a crazy bond from the womb on out I can't begin to imagine the emptiness he left behind in Hunter and Maizie's souls. My heart goes out to the families and friends of all the victims. Maddie's dad was struggling so hard, man I can't even fathom the torment. May their hearts and souls find peace one day.

Is it just me or is it appear that Kaylee's mom does not appear to be in morning at all she seems more aggravated and awkward she doesn't seem sad one bit it's almost like can we get on with this it's odd very odd and why weren't the dads out there lighting this parking lot up I put more lighting up or securing these doors and windows for these girls they just left them out they're on their own like sitting ducks.

This case has me so upset and mad that I can’t stop crying. All 4 went through something their and all parents fear when dropping their kids off at college and it’s heartbreaking to know how someone with a twisted mind took them from everyone who loved them. I pray that this never happens to anyone. I pray that colleges do more to protect their students bc that could’ve been you or ur siblings or ur friends one day. Please protect ur students and ur loved ones especially if they are one college campuses

This is so sad to live stream this. I think it's disgusting that someone can kill for very promising people in this world before they even got their life started. As a father I feel their pain
It's sad that Xanas Mom is sitting in jail since November 19th, and missed this moment of support. I can't imagine what she's going through.
Maddie's step mother was sent to jail just a couple of days before her life ended. Ben has been staying with his dad and my mom (Ben is my step brother) right now so that he is not alone.
@@ehudshamgar7300 PLEASE TELL MADDIES DAD THAT MY HEART IS BROKEN FOR HIM. I loved the most that he was so happy his daughter had found love in her life before she passed away. And that it was a good, healthy relationship. Those things are so important to a father.
These were all very special remembrances of the four students. It's easy to see why the kids were so special - they were raised by wonderful parents. How many of us could come together following such a tragedy and still be able to get up there and speak?!! I was particularly moved by Maddie's dad when he said she was an only child. May God bless these families greatly and give them peace and comfort as they face the difficult days ahead.
I really feel sad for these parent's and siblings of the victim's. Steve, thank you for loving your family so much. I'm really sorry for your loss of your daughter. Thank you for your insight into this situation. Watching you has provided me with that which I need to take thing's further.
What beautiful and bright young adults raised by quality individuals. This loss of life has been heart-wrenching but Idaho and its citizens and students and parents have shown themselves to be bright lights in the midst of such undeserved anguish. Just the picture of true friendship that those girls and their parents have shown us is such a legacy in itself AND Ethans mother, in every interview, has taught the world what it is to be a good parent. A purposeful parent. Intentional parenting. With love. Those are the messages that the world needs right now. And Idaho is bringing them.
My heart hurts so much for those families man. And all four who lost their lives. This is so unbelievably tragic and senseless. I am praying for healing for them all. Hearing the parents talk is so truly heartbreaking. Their lives are changed forever by someone who came along and stole their babies lives. This senseless act makes me scared for my kid and truly makes me cherish the time I have with my baby.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life!!!
