We were so impressed w/the food in London/Cornwall. It didn't matter if we were at a local eatery or a pub or fine-dining...we never had a disappointing meal during our entire vacation.
I am literally just finishing off my last mouthful of crumpet as I read this! 😅
Marks & Sparks or Waitrose bits for picnics in the Park. We always used to do the mix and match deals.
A trip out to Epping Forest was also a pleasant day out on a weekend. You can catch the Tube to Theydon Bois.

Yay beige picky bits! I love grocery shopping in the UK when we visit--it's a real local experience. I have been to the UK three times and never had a bad meal (only one sandwich just was a different style but it wasn't bad--just not my cup of tea). Still my all time fave is Welsh Rarebit (York)!

I used to go to greggs almost every day for their sausage rolls during my uni days.. loved walking around and finding quaint streets/cafes etc ..live in the US now..not the same! Did you say driving in High Wycombe?! I am originally from there..family/friends still there..love it!!

I love when you take us with you on everyday outings, and we have chats along the way. You look so tiny in this vlog, maybe because you can finally go out without a coat on. Our temperatures are the same at the moment, it'll be 22 degrees tomorrow, it's the middle of winter here lol. In summer our family always go for anything that doesn't require cooking, fresh prawns and oysters, watermelon, anything icy and cold, salads, deli meats, dips, cheeses and chips. Glad you can finally get some time off. We've been very spoilt with 2 vlogs a week. Enjoy your summer Hannah x 🌻

Hello..Almost 7am in South Africa..here I am buying snacks with you ,Hannah.Having sun right thru the year,we love picnics..little ones would sooner have a savory snack with marmite and cheese,than a sweet cake.Crisps are always popular as is popcorn and mini sausage rolls.Ive just had my toast and marmalade and because it's Winter it's still cold..warm tea etc.love visiting with you.❤

OH, how I miss all that beige food! I always used to think the USA had the best food until I started living here. British food is far superior. Gregs, M&S and Tesco are the first places I visit when I come back to the UK. You can’t beat a good sausage roll or pork pie.😋

Texas and Southern US big summer snack/desert items are of course watermelon and peaches. Everyone thinks of Georgia for peaches but Texas is huge for peaches too.

Myself & my son had a wonderful few days in London / flew into Gatwick on Monday morning and went straight to Harrods for lunch in the Mediterranean restaurant followed by coffee and scones in the food hall coffee bar/ we went to a concert ( The Midnight ) in the electric ballroom Camden/ wonder night / had delicious food afterwards at the falafel king /next day we browsed around Camden market ( love it there ) then went up the the Westfield shopping centre / had a beer in the Bull bar / had some delicious Lebanese food / then went to west end to see Stranger things 👏👏 / next day went to convent garden had lunch and then for treat went to
Japanese patisserie called WA 🙏🏼 some more sightings then back to airport for 10pm flight home / we love visiting London 👏👏👏
As a person whose ancestors came over from the UK, I am embarrassed to admit (lol) that sausage doesn’t agree with me. I love it, but it does not love me. So please do enjoy it on my behalf! 😂. PS-I love beige food-crackers, bread, popcorn, pretzels, chips. And then there’s the sweet side-cookies, cakes, muffins, scones, ice cream. I don’t eat much of it at all any more but it’s yummy stuff! Please do as many videos as you can handle. We will be here to watch whatever you decide to put up, but you also deserve to enjoy life when you get the chance. I hope you get some real summer weather while you are on your break. Hugs!

Beige picky bits???? You crack me up! lol I honestly get to have a good belly laugh at least once when I watch your Vlogs. This one gave me a couple of those - thank you. I do have to say, I've never been asked to bring beige picky bits to a party, but now I know what to look for if ever I'm asked. Like others, I could listen to you all day. Even listening and learning about the British foods is fun when you're telling it. And, no, I don't know what a sausage roll is. I've had a round sausage patty on a biscuit before - is that the same?

I've been to the UK several times, and while exchange rates fluctuate from trip to trip, in general your grocery shop food costs less than ours in the US, while your restaurant food is much more expensive than ours.
