Do energies stack? As in, they always remain in the zone. And... If I play a 2 with 2 green energies. Can I then play 2 1 costs and 1 green energy each?
I'm not sure if you're confusing energy with the cost within a card while it's in energy. you can play a 2 cost with two energy and 2 one costs with whatever matching energy, so that should be ok
If your card reads “Activate: Main (energy cost) discard this card from your hand if….” you are using an energy and activating the cards main while it is in your hand and discarding? If the requirements are met.

yeah, you only get energy during the charge phase but there are specific cards and leaders such as SS4, Ultimate Evolution that can provide you energy through effects

Im new to DB Super card game, I just bought a DB Super “unsearched” bulk card lot of 100 which is supposed to contain 5-6 foils, I understand I won’t be getting anything of value but will I be able to play and build a beginner/ weak deck to start learning out of it?? Cause I know with Yugioh it’s unlikely you’ll get cards that’ll work well together at all unless they happen to be from the same sets or decks
unfortunately in this game, uncommons and commons won't get too far. you do need staples and certain cards to play in highly level competitive events, but that doesn't mean it won't work as a deck. I would recommend to check out egmanevents.com and take a look at the latest lists and compare to what you have.
@@StageZeroTCG I’ve always been a Dragonball fan but one of the times out they played a quick game of DBS and I loved the art. So I’m learning to play so I can play them and also build my son his own deck to play.
Thank you for this - do you mind explaining SS Son Goku Pride of the Saiyans battle card to me, specifically the first auto effect that talks about "if there is a card with an energy cost of 4 under this card: my specific question is how would that Son Goku card end up under this card? It does not have evolve and it is not a unison card so i am confused as to what would trigger having cards under this green battle card
you're welcome! there are a couple of ways but the way it was intended is that 'Intensive Training Son Goku' was released in the same set and you just use the activate main on that card to place it on top
I'm new to this game, but am confused if there are multiple conditions for the character names like in the Z-Leader SS4 Son Goku, Tearful Awakening P-458. It shows Z-Awaken When your life is at 4 or less : Red ＜Son Goku : GT＞ ＜Pan＞ ＜Trunks : GT＞. Can I just use a Pan Leader card to Z-Awaken or do I need a leader card with all 3 characters on it?
Probably not the best idea to call autos a keyword skill- people are probably gonna misunderstand certain cards (ex: dark power black masked saiyan) Also good to remind people that a card played with over realm goes to the warp at the end of the turn it is played with over realm- lol even good players forget to take them off their board sometimes
I played this game the day it came out since set one but i haven't played since set two. would you say it's worth it for me to get back into the game at this point or would it be too hard to build back up and make new decks. The best deck I had at the time was a blue vegito deck if that's still relevant at all. I really liked this game when it came out but I'm just not sure how much ease of access there is anymore.
welcome back! I think you should look into the newest set, dawn of the Z Legends and the last set for more archetype based decks to get into it, such as yellow trunks/Vegeta, U7 Goku, Red Syn, Green cooler, blue Gamma and more.
I need help. I've been searching everywhere. If I activate a keyword skill on a battle card in hand, do I need to pay for the card's play cost via energy, if it can seemingly be paid without such? I.e: here's a card I've been looking at; "Majin Buu, Brilliant Absorption" - BT14-079. I assume the spirit boost would be the cost.
yup, you got it right. you would need to pay the cost from your unison for spirit boost before playing the card. another example would be Android 14 & Android 15, the Ravagers, there is no cost but you follow what it says after. it would be different if it did not refer to the hand, which means it has to be from the battle area.

I got pretty thrown off when some locals spoke about how you have to pay the energy cost in order to activate BT15-072 Son Gohan, Rageful Flurry's skill from the hand, when it seems to activate from the hand similarly (for free). But it seemed pretty good for a common card.

nope! it goes into rest mode and stays that way until your next turn when you switch all your cards to active during the start of your turn
That should make an online game for it since we never got to play hero's

there is no official 3 player format at the moment! if it's 3v3, then it's different and usually are side events.

sure, as long as there isn't an activate main, limit or says that it can't be activated again.

how do you tell what color energy your card is? you say 3 cost and 2 had to be green how do I tell what color the energy cards are?
usually energy color is located in the top left with the specified cost or at the bottom right circle color.
