He is the barber in the video and I was there as a young apprentice too, but they decided not to have me in the video 😔 But it was a great day that will live in my memory for ever, and Jona and the crew were wonderful.

The real genius of this song is how it uses washboards and spoons. It's a comment on humanity reminding us of our past. Jona Lewie is one of those really smart satirists that actually made a buck.
The barber in this clip is my father. I was his apprentice at the time and I was also there when this was recorded. Great memories and Jona was a true gent.
